Subject:[ParanormalCalifornia] Day 1 & 2: Our Amazing Journeys In Santa Cruz California April 21st to 25th 2016
Date:4/7/2017 1:20:44 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time
From:ParanormalCalifornia@yahoogroups.com
To:ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com, paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalGhostSocietyConnections@yahoogroups.com, TheParanormalGhostSociety@yahoogroups.com, SupernaturalFlorida@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalCalifornia@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalNevada@yahoogroups.com, Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com, sierraparanormal@yahoogroups.com, PGSPhantoms@yahoogroups.com

The first time I laid my eyes on this region is back in November of 2015 and thought to myself how great it would be to return to the area. The Pacific Coast is one of the wonders of the world full of cliffs, rock formations that protrude out of the ocean and allot of paranormal hotspots. I have been doing allot more traveling along California's Pacific Coast to see graveyards, lighthouses, haunted forest, legendary mansions and anything else I could get my hands on.

It would be one hell of a journey to say the least five days of exploring, hiking, jeeping, chasing mysteries and also returning to Purissima . Purissima  is a creepy overgrown ghost town near the ocean its been lost over time and I could not wait to go back to see more. The first time I was here someone stole my camera and all the evidence. It really was hard to digest losing all my hard work that day and I had to go back I had to do a retake but only this time bringing it up a notch. Also in case your wondering the name means Purest often compared to the La Purísima Concepción or immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. I often wonder how pure of a place this is sure its beautiful kind of remote but its also the site of death and disaster!

I was excited to go I loaded the jeep up with our gear, food, cooler, football, frisbee, fishing equipment, paranormal tools etc etc. One of the nice things about having a jeep is we can do that. It allows us to take longer trips so we can explore these places in full. Nothing like driving across the state of California and taking in the scenery. You can start to smell the ocean the closer you get to the coastline it truly is something all of us should value.

It is tough being the founder of PGS we have very little help so I have to compile all the research, maps and locations myself. I have done this for years and so far its worked out great. I just wish we had more investigators to see the things I see and the places I get to go. People have no idea how much money they could save if they joined me in these adventures but until people get a clue that were the real deal they will continue to sit on their couches while I am out there experiencing real paranormal phenomena.

I also try to chose locations that are memorable somewhat scenic or full of nature. I like my paranormal investigations to be full of other grand things not just ghost or UFOs but flowers, deer, scenic peaks etc. I want people to value these locations so that when I die you guys can preserve them and keep them alive. My work will live on beyond my years but it will also be up to our people to continue it.

Our trip would take us to Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz and eventually an island just off the shores of San Francisco. In between there was time for me to party and enjoy the local culture which is also something I do as a paranormal investigator. I have to live it, feel it and be a part of it for me to have success at what I do! I try to do as much as I can if I am going to experience the culture I also will the paranormal. Everything kind of goes hand in hand when it comes to what we do here but that is just our methodology.

I would take on the Purissima Redwood Forest, Purissima , San Gregorio, Santa Cruz, Marine Exploration Center, Henry Cowell Redwoods & Roaring Railroad, Bigfoot Museum, Felton Historic Covered Bridge, Mystery Spot, Court Of Mysteries, Natural Arches State Park, Santa Cruz Evergreen Cemetery, Santa Cruz Memorial Cemetery, Seymour Discovery Center, Arbortorum, Mission Santa Cruz & Holy Cross and our final day Angel Island! I had read all sorts of Bigfoot and UFO reports surrounding the Santa Cruz Mountains. But also this range is home to many ghost stories and they even inspired Alfred Hitchcock to write horror stories.

As you can see these trips we take are very extensive it is important to put forth the field work if your going to see a ghost or a UFO. That is the problem with researchers today many of them want credit without having to work hard for it. More or less what I do I do it for all of you so you can enjoy these locations and someday maybe your kids kids! We try to preserve these locations through our work and some places are of course more paranormal then others but all equally awesome locations.

Our first day would be spent in Half Moon Bay and around the ghost town of Purissima. We would head out early Thursday and enjoy some tunes as we drove to the coastline. My son and I were pretty pleased when we saw the Sony Playstation headquarters building. I bet if you worked for them you could play video games on lunch break lol.  We were not sure what the weather was going to be like as the closer we had gotten to Half Moon Bay the worst the weather was getting. We would begin our trek through the Purissima Redwood Preserve eventually working our way off the mysterious Santa Cruz Mountains to the town site.

Purissima California
Day One

Investigation 2

Once you begin to leave the traffic of the Bay Area you begin to climb high up to the top of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It becomes remote and wilderness quite quickly with deer going across the road and wild flowers everywhere. The trek also gives you some great views of the San Francisco Bay from up above. Unfortunately the great views were fading fast as it was about 5pm and everything was covered in fog. It is not uncommon for the area to get hit with fog and rain afterall there are rain forest in the region which is why Pacific Coastal Redwoods grow here.

There are allot of back roads through the redwoods preserve some of them very narrow and wind around sharp curves through the mountains. The area surrounding the ghost town is full of hiking trails some of them have some great views of Half Moon Bay other ones the San Fran Bay. I was only able to take a few scenic photos before the rain was coming down hardcore and the fog was rolling across the road. I had better scenic photos my first time out here of the region because it was clear however someone stole my camera and the pictures back in November 2015.

I spent the first couple hours exploring the dark roads in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Let me explain to you why they are dark. The forest here is extremely overgrown between the redwoods and the foliage it kind of blankets the forest floor thus even during the day here its rather dark especially during a thunderstorm where the sun is not even peering out of the clouds. Therefore when I was through the forest descending off the range it almost seemed nighttime.

I suppose that when fog hits this area it can add to the creepiness. You have allot of strange ghost stories back in this mountain range. Tales about hitchhiking ghost or entities crossing the road. It was remote I was in a redwood forest above the town site exploring roads in the Santa Cruz Mountains that have no name. As a matter in fact most of the roads are treacherous one wrong move and your life could be over.

I seen some deer grazing in the preserve this area is abundant with them and I was happy to at least see some wildlife. On my last trip up here I was able to walk up to a few Fawns grazing and I seen a nice buck. Its hard to believe you would see so much wildlife near the big city and bay area. But I am telling you if you happen to be out this way take the very same treks I did you will be quite pleased.

I do believe with the abundance of water, canopied forest and wildlife such as deer that its quite possible for Bigfoot like creatures to sustain themselves here. If you do not believe me you can visit the Bigfoot Museum found in the heart of this mountain range. When you journey through the preserve you kind of anticipate that something big or primate like will leap across the road. The trees here are enormous were talking over 150' although many of the large redwoods no longer exist this is because the residents of Purissima cut them all down to build a town which no longer exist today!

I enjoy driving down these narrow curvy roads in this range because it does take you to some pretty places nestled within the range. There are places I seen that made me feel as if I was in Ireland with emerald green hills, rock formations and cattle just grazing the country side. Its easy to come out of the preserve at times and see a cozy little homestead in a big open hill field. Most of what I did on our first day back out here is filming footage driving the country side so since some of my friends like that kind of thing you will be in for a nice treat.

I eventually came out to an area where there is a couple small ranches. One one of the ranchers property he has some old remnants from the town itself. The structures are old one is a school/church which has a plaque but I cannot read it from as far away as it is. There also was some water towers and even an old wooden hotel. I am not sure if they are replicas but they do look old and they reside just a couple miles if that from the Purissima town site. I believe these may be some of the structures from old Tunis which was a suburb of Purissima during the 1800's. In October this area is full of Fall Colors and pumpkin patches. I am a bit upset my camera was taken because I was here in the fall and its gorgeous!!!

No less I spent an hour hunting down wildlife flowers near the ranch and seen some pretty exotic ones. The thing people do not realize about California is there appears to be hundreds of flowers therefore I am always armed with my camera. There was another ranch with a few statues one of them looked like a giant gorilla which when I had gotten out on the road to take photos I had some little dog chasing me barking lol. I am not sure what it is but lately I seem to run into allot of dogs who bicker at me when I am in full photography mode then I am on the run with a camera in my hand trying to hustle.

Nightfall was starting to set on in and although everything was wet some sun was peering through the clouds in the evening. But boy when I was higher up in the Santa Cruz Mountains above the town site it was not looking good. Everything was soaked flowers were dripping water, fog was still appearing over some mountains and we were worried about what tomorrow may bring! I did not want to spend the entire trip under rain we have had such a poor year for weather. I have been in severe flash floods, thunder showers, snow storms and blizzards all year around!

I had driven a few hours here but also spent a good amount of time driving through the preserve and of course around the town of Purissima. You cannot really see this ghost town you do have to hike in the jungle to get to it because that is what this place is no matter what anyone tells me lol. The town has very little remaining maybe a foundation or two from the sawmill, piles of wood and the cemetery which remains hidden from the road through the ghost town. You would never know this place ever existed if it were not for explorers like me who want to share such locations with the rest of the world! So this is a gem and also as beautiful as it is I believe the land is cursed!

As the sun was about to go down we checked into our hotel in Half Moon Bay. I love this bay not sure how many of you been here but its a really pretty part of California. Not to mention some of the words largest surf waves were caught here just off the peninsula to the north. Its a quaint cozy little historic bay town with allot of sail boats, sea food, cabins and pretty views of the Santa Cruz Mountains! I mean think about it I returned here in less then six months! I love this part of California I kind of call these locations second homes!

We checked into the hotel then walked on over to Asian Kings Kitchen its honestly one of the best Chinese Restaurants I been to. The food you order comes to quickly and the people who work there are so friendly. To be honest with all of you nobody could pay me to eat anywhere else but here. I am a man of culture and this place has good food. I had a creamy sweet Thai Tea wish they had refills but it was like nothing I ever drank before!  We had a feast such as this Shrimp Chow Mein, Crispy Sweet Orange Chicken, Spring Rolls and so much more. As you guys also know that I take photos of our eats and as you can tell we ate well.

We would need it though the next morning we had a huge adventure planned at the ghost town. Of course I was far from finished for the evening. I decided after a good dinner to hit the road and drive in the Santa Cruz Mountains late at night. Before I went off into the range I went to burn one down on the beach I think it was called Pope Beach its in Half Moon Bay. But some creeper was walking back there at night and when my lights hit him he booked it lol. I did toke a little bit but did not hang around but thought to myself who walked around in the middle of the dark by themselves then thought to myself I do so I really could not knock it!

After burning one I drove up in this canyon which took me to the top of the Santa Cruz Mountains through the redwood preserve. There is not one car found here at night if you drive in the range chances are its going to be just you and you only. In this range nobody will hear you scream especially in the rain forest areas. Before I began to ascend I was taking this dark road at the base of the range past the old train station which is on private property. The roads are dark hell my jeep lights do not penetrate the darkness here but we stopped when we seen a great horned owl fly over us and land on a pole. I had the moon roof open so I could see the owl staring down at us that was an awesome experiences!

I had no idea the roads I was taking I just went up into the range at times coming out over near a ravine, valley or canyon. Believe it or not there are homes back in here some are estates and mansions all lit up at night. You kind of get the best of both worlds here the seclusion but yet the people who live here live in paradise. Personally if you drove through here at night you might feel like your in another world. At one point I climbed to the top of some canyon and it overlooked the ocean.

I will say that these back country roads in the range are creepy as well especially when you come across a corner or go through a thick overgrown part of the forest. I think teens use it as a place to have sex when I drove past a parked vehicle down a rural road two heads popped up scared LMAO. Not that I care hell if I lived there id be making out to in my vehicle lol. But I was not on the hunt for sex I was on the hunt to find Bigfoot or things that go bump in the night.

Your eyes kind of play tricks on you in the preserve as its so dark and one could envision something crossing the road or seeing some lady in a white gown just strolling along. Place kind of gives me the creeps whether most of you know it or not the Spaniards landed on the shores of Half Moon Bay and they explored this forest therefore its old and there are allot of strange stories up here. There are no labeled roads really some of them are just unmarked narrow paths that you take to get to other canyons and areas within the preserve. Redwood City which is at the top of the range is very nice as well if you want that cozy outdoors feeling.

After driving above huge estates throughout the Purissima Hills I decided to turn in for the night. It was a nice night drive its important when your doing field work to try to go out at night. Drive down some roads slowly look into the woods with your lights and scour the area for monsters like Bigfoot or ghosts. I am sure people have died on these roads there is allot of cliffs, drop offs and trees. Some of which people may have been speeding and hit a tree for example. I did see a few crosses on these back country roads but I can actually say that I have drive to the top of the mountains and throughout them at night!

Purissima California
Day 2

In the morning we woke up very early and had gotten breakfast at the hotel. The hotel offers a good breakfast it has a bit of everything so I was quite content. In Half Moon Bay I ordered some Hazelnut Coffee at a little stand you drive up to. Life is quaint here its not like being in a major city. I was pretty excited to do some early morning exploring and we had a big day ahead of us.

My first goal was to go up into the Redwood Preserve and do some early morning hiking. I was hoping to find some fresh Bigfoot tracks or something. I mean the stories I read about this area are pretty amazing so it sounded to me like an adventure awaited and even if I seen nothing paranormal it was just good being here. If you do not explore you may miss out on that UFO sighting or Ghost walking down that road. I have seen such things but our group is active we go out allot so that increases the odds!

The weather was NOT looking good were talking fog everywhere, rain coming down and it was chilly out. I wanted to find out an area I parked and hiked at last time but I never found it. Which would not have mattered because even though the hike is gorgeous it was so foggy out we would not have seen anything. However I did find an area I parked at where we hiked a little ways along Purissima Creek which was running pretty fast this time of year as in the Fall it trickles.

Back in the day they use to float logs on the creek down to the town below to be processed in the saw mill. Some of them were very large redwood trees actually all the trees that were a thousand plus years old were cut some used to build the founder of the towns large mansion. I had to experience the creek or at least stand there for my own benefit to understand why this area grew into such a major town that it did. I mean if you were living here in the 1800's you would have fished out of this creek and kids would have played in it. While other times logs would have came down from the forest to the town site!

The forest here kind of feels like it belongs in a Lord Of The Rings movie! Moss grows everywhere on the trees and hell some of those trees are huge. Their is creeks, leaves everywhere and fog! I spent about two hours just driving around the redwoods forest down unmarked roads etc till I found an area I could park and hike at. This was called the Redwood Trail and its in Redwood City. However Redwood City is quite remote there really is not much up there but a bunch of cozy homes, cabins etc. Therefore allot of people come here to camp and hike.

It was raining steadily fast but we grabbed our packs and we descended into the Santa Cruz Mountains. Sure the redwoods are large but if they were not cut down their may have been trees that were much bigger. I have seen quite a few redwoods and giant sequoias thus it has made me even more appreciative of such trees that have been here before any European came to the Americas. Now most of the trees are only a couple hundred years old some are newer seedlings but by the time they bloom in their full glory sadly ill be deceased that is just merely the truth.

I enjoyed my hike in the Redwood Preserve we did not loop around the Redwood Trail but continued to hike and even push through some parts of the forest that were remote. We found a couple small meadows they were so bright green and just this thick layer of fog was hovering over them. The fog was clearing up it never last but keep in mind that the Bay area is one of the most foggy regions in the world. Its not uncommon here but when your in the forest hiking you feel like your in a horror movie.

I was not to happy with my camera getting wet but what could I do? There was something big moving around the forest on a hill above us. The problem is that the preserve is overgrown you wont be able to see mountain lions or even bigfoot if it was a few feet out in front of you. That is why cryptids can remain hidden in places like this because they are obscured from the eyes of man and hikers alike. Its so green here I mean honestly you can barely even see the sky but in the meadows we had gotten wet. Each meadow is labeled back here and yeah there are some steep hills I nearly slipped in the mud!

Jarrod and I had no luck finding tracks although one area in the meadow looked like something big came through and the rain washed whatever tracks it left whatever left it had fingers or toes. If your going to visit places like Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay you have got to backpack above the ocean in the mountains seriously! I have no regrets backpacking in the rain the air here is so pure you can almost smell the ocean as your weaving between the massive redwoods. I do have to see their was a few times on this expedition I heard something moving around in the woods but never once seen what was doing it. Not just in the redwood forest but also below around the ghost town site.

Eventually I made my way off the mountains I seen a few ranches some deer etc. But the rain really was not letting up much it was on and off from this point forward. With that being said my second expedition into the ghost town was about to begin or at least what is left of the town site. There is no signs really no trails therefore if you want to get to the town site you sort of have to hike around. Some of the area is also barbed wired but it does not stop me I mean afterall I traveled for hours just to come back to this place.

It was very emotional for me to come back to the town site you see last night I was here I hiked all day long so I was very tired. I had an issue with my cooler which started to leak in the vehicle so I had to unload the cooler, camera, gear etc then put it back. Well somehow the camera never made it to the vehicle whether it had rolled away on the hill and I missed it or whatever the fact was that it was gone. I did not realize it till about 20 minutes later then I rushed back and someone had taken it. Which is very strange considering how rural the town site and road is. But locals take this route to go to and from particularly Half Moon Bay and Redwood City!

I came back and it was gone were not sure how the side of the road has leaves and a camera would be hard to spot especially if your cruising down this road. When I was hiking my first time here there was a old 1980's pick up truck it was white looked like it may have had some rust perhaps a rack with giant white metal bars or a cab. It bothered me last time I was here because I hiked all over that area and never found the people who owned it but the moment I lost my camera and came back those people were hightailing it. I should have stopped the vehicle or blocked them in and called the police but they waved me to me as I drove past them slowly. Thus I felt maybe they had nothing to do with it until I parked near them and they left. These people were in the late 40s perhaps mid 50ish. They both had brown hair the male had a mustache looked like meathead from All In The Family while the woman had kind of long wavy to curly brown hair.

Do you know what I think? I think they were hiding in those woods near the ghost town seen me sit down the cam and took it! They appear to be locals nobody just parts for two hours in a jungle like this plus you really would have to know the area well. I only go to Purissima to do historical and paranormal research but most people have no idea how to find the town site let alone the cemetery,. They may have been in the cemetery they were parked across the small animal path which you can take to reach some of the gravestones! No less it hurts to think all that I fell down a ravine and found hidden remnants of the town were stolen by a bunch of crackers!

My reward for the camera was bigger then whatever they could have made from it because all I wanted was my memory card, pictures and memories. I had a video on there that said Paranormal & Ghost Society with our website, posted ads in Half Moon Bay lost n found and tried craiglist. Not one response somebody grabbed it in the middle of nowhere and ran. Most folks would at least look on the card say hey this belongs to this dude and his gf its kind of sacrlige to take something personal from someone. The camera was not working right it was damaged they just do not realize it because their a bunch of crackers. When I lost the camera I had to also postpone my trip to Angel Island but NOT this time. This time I came back with the same camera and a very large machete I was not fucking around! Would you?

If you hike along the creek you can go up into the town of course there are other ways but I wont post them. The area is full of ticks, spiders and snakes trust me when I say this. However if you make it to the town site their is a plaque. I believe the city wanted to make this place a park with jogging trails etc. I mean trees are cleared out and the plaque is full of good historic information. It also has photos of the town, founder etc etc. I already knew the history but I filmed a video so I could kind of read it to our viewers.

The trees back in here are enormous the original eucalyptus trees still grow here planted by the towns founder himself. My son has never been here my first time here I found some cool things this time though it was much MORE overgrown to a degree that I knew we would not find everything. But despite what I could not find my first time visiting my second time I did see a cemetery and tunnel though so it did expand the town site more.

The town resides on the creek if you follow the creek up into the mountains that would be where we hiked and they loaded wood down the rapids. The creek flooded twice the entire town nearly almost was washed away. People died here allot of people from illness, accidents, fire and floods no lie! Some of the earliest explorers from Captain Caspar De Portola party came through here. They were the first white men to set their eyes on beautiful Purissima and many of those men died from sickness drinking bacterial infused water. So when I push through this area I think to myself that the explorers had to do the same thing climbing above the Santa Cruz Mountains and finally discovering the San Francisco Bay area!

I really compare the area to a jungle but their is also many areas with big open ranch land right along the Pacific Ocean. Its very lush here but you can see where possible the town site was and what areas probably had structures. This town had it all railroad, stores, post office, school, restaurants, hotels, mansions etc it was gorgeous. Henry Dobbel founded the town but at the same time their was minor scrimmages or battles because many of the pioneers wanted to farm and log this land while the Spanish wanted it for expanding Spain's empire by building missions. Their is no doubt in my mind bad things happen on this land and have been since the greed of men took a foothold on this area.Hell many farmers in the region had no success planting crops around the town site either and when they struck oil here it just was not enough!

This is what fascinates me about this location its really a story about tragedy and downfall. Do you know what else the area lost due to the greed of men? Ancient redwood trees and now the town does not even stand so in reality history of such trees existing here have been wiped off the map. Jarrod and I spent a good deal of time filming at the town site. There is some strange things found here for example we found many wood shelters I do not remember seeing them last time I was here maybe one or two but we found at least five or six in the most overgrown parts of town.

Each shelter has an entrance they are made with trees and limbs. Whatever or whoever made them carried tons of fallen tree limbs and logs interlocking them with other trees. Some of the branches or even logs were huge such as 20' in length. Now maybe hippies back in the 70's decided hey lets camp here maybe build some shelters to party in who knows. Maybe bigfoot? Some of them had pieces of shattered glass inside of them perhaps from beer bottles. You have to understand we also do weird and seeing these intricate shelters were odd. Someone put ALLOT of time into them in an area full of ticks, snakes and very thorny harsh foliage.

This place will chew you up and spit you out. When I was filming here last time I fell down a muddy bank into a ravine of course there was a path up to the top. This time it was so overgrown one wrong step behind the town you could fall into the ravine and die. There is really only a couple ways down to the creek safely so this time of year is not a good time to go. But I had to go back I had to know more and in the Spring despite it being so overgrown its beautiful out here. There use to be hot springs in the area hell this use to be in the 1800's a top tourist destination as it almost absorbed today's Half Moon Bay.

Jarrod and I did try to walk down to the creek we could not get down into the ravine at least not yet. But the wood boards were still there behind the town as if a cabin or something stood back here. There also was a foundation I could not find it then again I am thinking whoever took my camera may have removed the block I found back here too. That is what people do they rob from ghost towns like idiots so that way none of us can enjoy these locations. A warning to folks who destroy ghost towns if I catch you nobody will hear you scream lets just leave it at that so I strongly advise you do not do it! Thank you!

I hate people who destroy history it should be a stiff punishment because back decades ago the entire town was abandoned but everything stood. Today its hard to believe a 17 room mansion stood downtown because nothing is really left. Now a part of this foundation is gone so I could not find it sorry folks. Another thing I noticed is that thousands of black birds were spooked flying everywhere around and above us. This place is strange it just has a very dismal vibe to it which is why I call it cursed.

Jarrod and I hiked along the ravine to find a way down when we found this old stone wall. There was physically vines you could hold onto to climb but a long ways down. We just had pushed through brush on a steep hillside we were wet, muddy and thorned up. Now we had to climb vines my son not a single issue he is much lighter. But for me the vines became unattached to the stone wall and broke. I literally was about halfway down when I fell 10' no lie landed on my feet in front of a tunnel like Iron Man or some super hero shit lol. My son was worried though he thought I was hurt but when I came down I landed right on the edge of the creek.

The tunnel goes under the highway its hard to say how old it is but its a nice feature to the ghost town when the creek is not flowing as fast. It goes for about 150' give or take so when you go into it your going to notice how dark it gets before you turn the corner and it comes out to this massive pool of water. Of course the pool is very deep so Jarrod and I could not exit the tunnel then walk up along the side bank to the road we had to turn back. Like any tunnel this one had graffiti of skulls and other tid bits of art. We were not the first nor will we be the last but it was nice to get the Urbex out of the system. My EVP recorder fell in the creek I was trying to look up find the safest route out and it fumbled from my right pocket. The recorder broke but at least I did not lose my EVP's thank goodness!

We could not climb the walls out of the ravine the vines were broke and across from them there was a wall straight up which we did climb out of very carefully. However once we made it to the top of the ravine we were on the other side virtually in a jungle. We had to push up a hill and to the road for a few hundred feet through brush taller then me. Not only taller but so thick I had to dive on the brush to flatten it because we could not push through. Vines were wrapped around my neck, arms, legs etc it took us almost two hours just to get to the pavement seriously! I was walking on a leg up a hill through the brush it broke I fell completely upside down and almost in a hole its dangerous folks. My son had to help me get out I had vines around me etc

I filmed a bit of the trek it was rough lets put it this way I had thousands of thistles enter my skin and they have this poison in them. My hands tingled so bad I could not even hold a camera anymore. Have you ever had a foot fall asleep and it feels like pins n needles? Well my hands, arms and legs had that going on. Jarrod accidentally stepped on my leg when I was down and I had these thorns stuck to my pants. He stepped down on the thorn brush and the rest is history my entire leg had a trail of bloody holes across my hamstring. I did not bring gloves did not think about it therefore I had no choice but to grab thorny brush to break it or pull it to the side so we could push through it. I mean through the brush we were only 20' away from vehicles passing by yet we had to cut through the brush for a half hour alone to get to the road. It was intense but the foliage back here can cause harm as it caused an allergic reaction. There is at least four types of thorny plants back here and none of them feel good to get pricked by.

As a matter in fact I had problems for days using my hands they constantly felt like they fell asleep nonstop so you can imagine how hard it would be for the rest of our trip for me to film and take pictures of these locations. On a good note Jarrod and I managed to hike down the road where we cut through the forest to the old sawmill site. The site was overgrown I could only film three of the five foundations. Last time I was here it was more exposed but Spring back here is natures wraith wooo. I found quite a few bones last time I was at the sawmill site. VERY FEW folks now about it and well I think the people that took my camera also removed anything strange here. There was allot of bones from allot of different animals including a coyote skull that I left behind. Coming here a second time and seeing it all gone is very strange! I know my first time here I found mountain lion tracks but this time around I could not tell. I just know something likes to dine at the sawmill site.

Why someone would take a skull or bones beats me but again I feel whoever took my camera used it to locate all the hidden places I filmed and found. I also think they took things out of the town like that stone block and the animal skulls. Something is going on up here you have these odd shelters that look like they belong in a gorillas den, birds are cawing like crazy, things come up missing, nothing is hardly left of this big ass town and allot of graves exist at the cemetery. It just does not have a good vibe it never has but the place is fascinating.

I found these lilies growing here also in the Spring flowers here are abundant its one of the entire reasons to return back here. But in the Spring and summer you may miss out on remnants of the town or even the cemetery because its just to overgrown. There are walls of ivy, brush, thistle bushes, plant life and trees. Its hard to climb around the town and if you fall you could end up in the ravine exploring the back side of town like I did. I think that there was a much older tunnel because the train would have to run through or over Purissima Creek. But today its kind of hidden and hard to get to which made the exploration well worthwhile.

There are allot of drops offs nothing is level accept the town site therefore you might be walking through brush and bam you could fall 7' so yes use caution. I would like if anybody else has photos of this place to send them to me so we can add your work on our website to since so little remains we have to work all together to compile what is left here. If you go across the road there is this big open area that overlooks the ocean with the Santa Cruz hills backdropping it. Some of the worlds top potatoes came from farmers who grew them up in those hills because ranching is real popular in the area. If you traverse the mountains or even the coastline you will see ranches with horses, cattle and crops growing. Its just that Purissima failed at farming.

The open area use to be part of the founders ranch land and they grew a variety of crops. Livestock use to roam here as well. Today its just a big open pasture there is a pond here also which last time I was here was bone dry this time it was very deep and large. It was so green and their was dark clouds hovering over the ocean to the west. Their is also a huge rusty water tank back here its not as old as the town but if you want to find the town site its a good place to start or landmark rather.

Jarrod sat the cemetery portion of the trip out he was beat tired we literally spent three hours pushing through Californian jungle. He did well but even he wears thin and I still had much work to do. I would hike through the forest on an overgrown path to the cemetery. Its very hard to find and most of the graves are literally covered badly in foliage. But if you push through the forest and go up a hill it will take you to a clearing to where the founder of the town and his family are buried overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

I felt a ray of sunshine on me the clouds were clearing on up and I was seeing blue skies. A sign from the heavens? Good luck? Were we out of the storm for the rest of our expedition? Their is about 250 people buried on this hill however I was only able to find about eight to ten gravestones. Some were so overgrown I could not even photograph some of them. Their is a few drop offs behind the founders grave and there appears to be more graves down the hill through brush so dense that its almost impossible to get to them. More or less if I found this place in November during the fall I probably would have been able to see more gravestones.

However to even find the graveyard was an honor the people buried here were a part of this towns early history. In the center of the cemetery is Henry Dobbels gravestone on a huge slab of concrete. There are other ones also residing on this slab perhaps they also were his family. Some of the names I read on various stones were some of the towns most prominent individuals. Your talking people who ran major businesses here in the 1800's and were upper class citizens. Now there stones are covered in ivy in an area that is so overgrown. I want to clean this place up I want to see all the graves maybe someone could work with me on trying to do this in the future where we could spend a day with volunteers to get this place tidied up?

I had to watch where I stepped if you step off the hill you might not be able to get out of here well you would but it would be difficult. There is also allot of rusty junk, barbed wire, rocks etc piled back here. When I was walking between some brush my foot had caught some barbed wire on the ground. I physically flew in mid air landing completely on my lower abdomen. It happen so fast I could not catch myself it was to late because the barbed wire snagged me and I went straight forward. I hit the ground so hard that it knocked the wind out of me. All my organs, stomach and lower abdomen were internally bruised. It took me a few minutes to get up I was disorientated and in a ton of pain. I thought I might have to go to a hospital could have had internally bleeding with a fall like that was lucky I did not. But bending down or over kills me even many weeks later its painful due to that fall I took. Purissima was taking a toll on me and this place will get you trust me!

I am sure many of the stones are just gone some you cant get to. If you hike in the patch of woods below the founders grave there is a wrought iron enclosure with a very old stone in there covered in moss. Behind the wrought iron enclosure is another gravestone. I am sure there is more in the woods but its just so hard to move around back here. Its tree to tree, bush to bush, vine to vine and very slippery. You fall off the edge of a hill you could get vines around your neck and hang to death. I just want people to understand its a high risk place people died living in this town and this town was classy back in its hey day. You had politicians coming here just to enjoy the ocean and these hills.

I did my best that is all any of you can ask for people hate on me all the time but they know very little about the sacrifices I make to do this kind of thing. Maybe they do not care but I do! These were people that once came here to the new world and lived in this overgrown forest. There graves are just above the creek where they once fished for trout. I also found a newer grave from 2001 I read on some message boards about it being someone's relative but it appears to be the last interment here just a few feet away from Old Henry's gravesite. Its a bit creepy in the cemetery if you really pay attention to the Dobbel Family Plot it appears that his wife and sons met an early demise never living long lives.

When I arrived at the jeep it felt good to sit I was in a ton of pain between my abdomen, cuts all over my body, slivers, thistles stuck in my skin, hands stinging and in serious pain. My skin was very red and I was so exhausted. I mean who wants to spend hours pushing through a couple hundred feet of brush? But some risk pay off you might find a remnant of the town even though sites say nothing remains I beg to differ. It just resides hidden in the Cali jungle and then of course you have the old structures up in Tunis just a couple miles away on a ranchers property. So their is some things remaining but its very minimal! Its been described that over 50 years ago many of the structures were still standing all gray, brown and with broken windows. Today no matter where you look its so thick you cant even see any of your surroundings except for a few open areas where they once farmed.

I would leave the area holding my camera very tight as this time around nobody would take from me or steal this journey away from me. The rule globally is you never steal another mans exploration someone should have returned that camera or its content as it does not belong to them. I know I talk about this allot because maybe our website will be the only way we can physically track it down. Then again crackers and inbred hillbillies may not care about the hard work another man did. Someone has been back here at the town site I found a fresh broken beer bottle, skull was taken of the Coyote and a piece of the towns history was removed. Who would ever steal another persons flower photography or there exploration? So my second trip in actuality was a success being I found the tunnel and the cemetery.

I did make one mistake but I try to let my son make decisions to teach him leadership skill. My feet were already wet should have just followed the creek in the ravine then cut up near the entrance to the town it would have been minutes of wet feet rather then hours of agony pushing through thistle brush. But you live and learn he did too agreeing with me that our decision should have been to follow the creek out. The thing is the tunnel does not start below the road it actually stars before it for quite a ways so we really had no idea the road was much further away when we climbed above this tunnel therefore we were deceived in more ways then one and so goes life. I am alive and never felt so alive after conquering this cursed place! Now whether I captured any EVP's from the towns founder or some of the more prominent residents we shall see. I have EVP sessions from both expeditions the one in Nov. of 2015 and the one here in April of 2016. What will they reveal? Word of the wise always go with your gut instinct it may save you allot of pain or it might just do the opposite with Purissima you just never know!

My next stop would be at San Gregorio Beach. Its just a few minutes away from Purissima but its an important site. You see some of the first explorers to arrive on the west coast from Spain landed on this very beach. Captain Portolas men died on this beach they probably drank from the lagoon. The first time I was here in Nov. the lagoon blocked off any beach access and you could not access the sea cave. I fished in the lagoon did not have luck and either did Portolas men more then likely. The men died of dysentery or drinking bad water which made them ill. What little men remained they decided to head out on foot and follow Purissima Creek right through where the ghost town resides today. So I had gotten to experience a little of what they probably did back in the 1700's I heard many ships have meant there doom off the coast here as many of them would end up hitting the rocks or being slammed into a cliff. The seas here are rough their was warnings not to go in the water as people are being swept out to sea, drowning and even breaking there backs!

In April the lagoon is gone you can walk down the hill through where the lagoon use to be right out onto the beach between these two series of cliffs. There is also a sea cave you can go in I toked one up inside enjoying the view of the ocean. I now have been to a few ocean caves of course during high tide or a storm may not be a good time to be in one but at the time it was safe and the ocean was fierce from the storm that passed through.

My son had a great time he ran through tidal pools, chased crabs and found some sea shells. Someone had a cat on the beach who seen me and ran up to me head butting me. That cat was awesome you do not see many folks walk there cats anymore but I use to do that with my Sneezer who passed away last October. It was awesome to see a kitty running through the pools of water and jogging with its owners. That cat paid me a visit and it was very affectionate right on the beach so cool.

Tammy went back to the jeep found a group of young morons hanging near it. She said this dude was walking around it and she felt its because I did not park in the lines. But now that I think about it I left my fancy wild western machete at my jeep outside but accidentally put it on the bumper to change into my shorts perhaps detached it from my belt switching pants. I was not going to carry it on the beach and I think that clown found it taking it. Because when I had gotten to Santa Cruz I could not find it and thought man someone took it at this location. I think he grabbed it and walked away Tammy really seen his back side she should have yelled for me since this guy was putting his face against the windows of the jeep. Because then id had to shove my boot up someone's moronic ass! Why cant people leave other peoples shit alone? If I see it ill take a finger consider the punk lucky I was on the beach with my kid playing with him.

The beach was nice we had blue skies and its very scenic here. San Gregorio and Purissima go hand in hand so you can understand why I chose to make this place a part of the project. The first explorers who found the bay area had to push through the mountains through Purissima and to the bay. Their has been shipwrecks, tragedy, fighting, drowning, illness and anything else you can think of here. Therefore we can theorize that such places may be haunted or have a few ghost stories of their own. I did not spend to much time at San Gregorio but our first time here we fished our second time here we ventured below the cliffs along the ocean!

From San Gregorio it does not take very long to get to Santa Cruz or the north end of Monterey Bay. I guess some of you are aware that Monterrey Bay is home to a trench that is full of USO/UFO activity. Its an area I want to UFO watch but its also full of very haunted historic sites such as mansions, cemeteries and sea cliffs. The ride up to Santa Cruz is very gorgeous along the ocean as you follow these railroad tracks that literally edge the beach and ocean. Then you pass the beautiful Pigeon Point Lighthouse and eventually before you know it your right there at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Pigeon Point received its name after a clipper ship bottomed  out carrying cargo in 1853 called Carrier Pigeon. The lighthouse is today the second tallest and is worth a stop as I did smoking out of my pipe!!!

There are other lighthouses in Santa Cruz I believe some even have ghost stories. Their is also the Wharf where you can drive your car up on the pier and visit one of many restaurants that overlook the bay. I knew where I was going after having fun on the boardwalk. This was my first time in Monterrey I mean how can you go wrong? Pretty girls everywhere, arcades, amusement park rides, hiking in the mountains, pristine beach well somewhat and great food! Do you know what is a pain in the ass though? Its parking there are meters all over Santa Cruz.

I paid a bit to park across from the new marine exploration center when I arrived in Santa Cruz. But if you go visit this center they have all sorts of information on marine life, sea shells, geological sediments, maps, Monterey Bay's trench, exhibits and a bunch of fun little hands on games. I had gotten to control a sea turtle through shark infested waters and I did it on my first try wooo! I also had gotten to control a submersible remote control sub they use often to scout reefs and the ocean. Its a great learning center for kids or even people who are old like me lol. I love the ocean as a kid my mom use to take me to Myrtle Beach growing up and I had good memories. I use to body surf, chill with girls, work out, play frisbee on the beach, chase lizards and make sand castles. The Pacific Ocean is different though sea lions are everywhere and so are sharks. I was hoping to see some whales on this trip but I always seem to miss them maybe someday!

See I love to visit the ocean but I could never live by it not since the threat of tsunamis, rising sea levels, earth quakes, underground volcanoes and unstable continental shelf's are becoming more of a threat out west. But the one thing I cherish about California coastline especially in Santa Cruz is the beauty. These areas can date back to the time our country was first founded. When Mexico and Spain were taking territory as well as docking there ships in these bays. Allot of ships sunk along the bay some may be in that trench. When you look out into Monterrey you think to yourself man that water out there gets to probably 15k at its deepest point! ANYTHING can be out there so with that in mind I get excited maybe to see a USO/UFO they are heavily reported in the mountains that overshadow Santa Cruz.

It was almost 5 PM boy I was lucky there was not one parking spot as I drove everywhere blocks away from the boardwalk. Some guy right across the street from it was leaving and I hurried got in there put money in the meter then we made the Rowe family Wally World Marathon. We had time for one ride as a matter in fact almost every ride was closed except the Big Dipper, Haunted House and some ride that spins till you puke lol. Tammy is not much into roller coasters but I wanted to ride one on the beach especially in Santa Cruz. Whether people realize it or not the amusement park that is on this beach is really the only operable one on the west coast. Back in the day they had many Ferris Wheels and amusement parks along the ocean right on the beach and all of them have closed.

So for me after the day I had I wanted to do something fun it was not cheap. It cost Jarrod and I $4 dollars maybe it was $16 right when they were about to close. At this point my happiness mattered to me more then what it cost but I still think that is rather pricey for one ride. I was kind of surprised that nobody was hardly on the beach or at the boardwalk. Some games were open while other ones shut down just like food stands for cotton candy or monkey bread were closed. I wanted some monkey bread hell throw a snow cone in there and call it a day lol. It was kind of a lonely amusement park id think with them closing in five minutes they would have given us a deal but what do I know I only run my own business right? lol

Jarrod and I ran to the roller coaster they were shutting it down we sat in the front of course who else was riding with us? It was kind of weird but it starts off taking you through pitch black tunnels then look out it has quite a few drop offs. My son said I am crazy I was making faces, jokes, putting my hands up and dancing while it was dropping off at its highest point. I was stoned the ocean was before me and I was on one of the oldest wooden roller coasters on the west coast. I was living the life with my bruised up organs, thorns stuck throughout my body, smeared blood, dirty clothes, mud on the face and the ability to lose almost all feeling in my hands as if I was paralyzed thanks to the toxins found in the plant life over at Purissima!

I was kind of sad the boardwalk was closing up you can be there anytime but games, rides, stands etc all shut down. Everything here was closed up as it is I did however notice the arcades and game centers were not so you can guess where I went LMAO. The game centers stay open late ya know they have house of mirrors, arcade games, air hockey, candy, ski ball and all that good stuff. We went and played in front of the mirrors at Neptune's Kingdom. That was a cool place but it was really busy however if you go inside you can read about the history. This use to be a swim center a very old one and today where the giant pool is its all arcade and indoor miniature golf.

We went to the boardwalks oldest place of childhood entertainment known as the Casino Arcade. Oh man we had a blast here I wanted to do laser tag was not even thinking that my hands were in serious shock. Hell my body was in shock yet here I was trying to play ski ball and play some boxing game. Their is this simulator they have that vibrates and moves. Jarrod and I took the mine cart adventure it was fun and easier on me. We also played their target practice game and even trivia pursuit. All in all by the time we played games I was ready to cash in our tickets. We had gotten a bunch of things an alien key chain, butterfly sticker for the jeep and no its not a rainbow one folks and some candy for the kiddo.

They have on the boardwalk also Laffing Sal which is this huge overweight animatronics lifelike creepy vintage woman. Well not really a woman but no less some of you may remember around 1972 maybe before seeing her in a window or at a carnival or perhaps an amusement park. Although she is one of a kind similar models exist or were made for other parks including Big Bertha who use to be featured at Crystal Beach up near Buffalo NY. My father use to take me as a boy growing up to that amusement park in Buffalo and so I seen Bertha often. Sal looks like Bertha they look very much alike and they both just keep laughing. Sal has no hardly any teeth and she looks like the woman from the movie Misery LOL!

After the arcade I went to the jeep grabbed my backpack loaded it up with snacks, drinks and some herb. I like to toke one on the beach I toked one in the cave in San Gregorio very relaxing time. My son he went to play in the water their was a few folks jogging and some splashing on the shore. But their was not many folks out their and the amusement park was closed. It was a nice way to end the evening just to sit back relax have a few drinks chill out. I try to incorporate some family time into what I do between these paranormal investigations. Family means something to me always has always will so it was nice to see the boy run free. He had gotten wet personally I felt that water was far to cold its not like the warm Atlantic plus them great whites are on the rise on a massive level and shark attacks will be something that will eventually happen DAILY guaranteed!

We walked along the shore lighthouse in the background it was a nice evening with clear skies. Nothing taking a stroll watching the waves and just talking about the great day you had. I had to put money in the meter twice not to mention it ate my quarters once also which pissed me off. You see folks if you do not carry allot of quarters you might be screwed. Lucky for me we made it back with minutes to spare but its easy to lose track of time on the beach playing games, riding coasters and chilling out walking the boardwalk. It was a fun time for everyone but we still had to check into the hotel and figure out what kind of dinner we would have to celebrate. The historic arcades were cool and besides the fact I almost lost my hands on the Big Dipper life is grand!

Our room was okay decent with a Jacuzzi a few doors down nothing extravagant. Of course they put a pull out bed in the room even though there was no room for it so I had to fight with it the two days I was here. I tend to hardly sleep on expeditions I might take a nap but my job is to study maps, research, put the gear, food and batteries all together. Make sure everything is charged and that were all ready to go at sunup. I know that Tammy kind of things god this guy never sleeps and is crazy for aliens or something. On top of that Tammy was pretty upset because we brought a few ticks with us from Purissima she found two one of them was in the jeep with us I told Jarrod to kill it well when he tried to show it off it had gotten lost and probably hitched a ride on our belongings. I do not like ticks lucky for us we did not get any on our skin but it just proves that hiking in Purissima is risky and who knows if they carry Lime Disease so yeah you do have to be cautious always check yourself after a intense hike like this!

We decided to go out to the Wharf for dinner that night basically you can drive a good mile out in the middle of the ocean on this massive pier. In the distance you could see the amusement park and boardwalk shrink. Basically if you are in fear of being out over the water this is not for you. However I was starving if a tsunami came through oh well at least ill die doing what I enjoy and that is chowing down lol.  We tried to go to the Dolphin Restaurant they had everything open and we were told they were closed. It was not even 8pm I do not think but I needed a nice hot cup of Joe I really did. I was hurting pretty bad you have to understand PGS is me without me there is nobody to run the show or our case files. I had three more days of hiking and climbing so I needed to spark on up lol.

I walked on over instead next door to Stagnaro Bros. its a nice little seafood restaurant and I have to say I was impressed. I did think they were quite over priced and they should make a more broader menu just because some people are allergic to certain things. They did put hot bread on the table and the coffee was really good! I ordered a nice flavorful sea bass, mixed veggies with a beautiful rice dish. I have to say dinner was good but I was starving. Not sure why plates cost around 20 dollars at least some do considering your on the ocean seafood should be a little more affordable. I will say the Sea Bass was fresh everything was flavorful. My son ordered a fish fry it was loaded with beer battered white fish. I also ordered some Stagnaro Bros.Ale! All in all it was a good way to finish the night the full moon was out we could hear sea lions from the pier and yes you are out over the ocean its pretty cool!

I went back to the hotel boy was I tired still did not get to bed till about 4 am took a light snooze then the alarm rang. It was time to hit up Bigfoot country and head into the backwoods of Santa Cruz that would take us to a rain forest full of giant redwoods all the way to a historic beach where native tribes once thrived. We were on our way to taking on some of the strangest yet most historical sites in all of Santa Cruz. How was I feeling? Well lets put it this way I could not wait to see more but we were on day two and I was looking like I came back from the depths of hell TRUTH lol. What would day three bring if day two was as intense as this? A mystery spot? Haunted cemetery? Bigfoot crossing the roaring railroad! Only time would tell Purissima had been conquered not once but twice and I survived this cursed place only to live for another day!

This is like something out of Hitchcock's movie the birds while we were doing research around the ghost town thousands of birds were flying over us. I am not sure I seen anything like this although its not paranormal it definitely was a bit out of the ordinary. Here are some of the clips from the massive bird flocks that were flying above us and this does not even touch the tip of the iceberg because their were times we seen thousands flying over us till I could ignore it no more and snapped a few photos. The birds may be migrating up the coast and stop here because the land is not only lush but their is a seasonal lake back here I call Hobbels Pond. It seemed as if the birds were very sensitive to our presence because the moment we walked down the road or through the woods you would see thousands of birds just swam above our heads.
For hundreds of years the natives have shared tales about Sasquatch aka Bigfoot roaming the Santa Cruz Mountains. Today such creatures seem to be less mythical as man encroaches throughout this mountain range which is home to many preserves and almost a jungle like ecosystem. For many decades Purissima remained hidden as a matter in fact the county had to go in to clear the town site or where Henry Dobbels Mansion was located to make room for a historic plaque and a short walking travel for occasional tours. Prior to that the entire town remained covered in vines, foliage, impassable brush and trees. As a matter in fact it was so dense that not even a machete would have gotten you through therefore anything could have spent years using the town site as a habitat whether that was a vagrant, wild man, bigfoot like creature etc. During my first expedition I came across four to five dens at least that is what I refer to them as. Above and below are two of them sorry the photos are not that great but the camera I used was not as good as my first which was actually stolen a couple hundred feet from where I found these dens. With that being said I had taken much better photos of the dens on my first expedition but they were stolen. These photos are from our second trip here I wanted to show my son them to see what he thinks. To most you might think hey these are just dead trees with a bunch of branches that had fallen but this is simply not true. It would appear in fact that each tree we found had been fortified with tree limbs leaving a small entrance for someone or something to seek shelter within from the elements. Some of the tree limbs we found were massive interlocked with other branches higher up while smaller branches were then laid over the bigger ones to perhaps provide some kind of shelter that would keep something dry who might utilize it. Many of the large tree limbs stand straight up and down some are actually locked into the softer earth then jammed between two tree limbers higher up the trunk. Their is certain regions across the country where these bigfoot like creatures which in a sense I consider tribal make grass or bark homes. Why? Well its a natural habitat less conspicuous and they are rather sturdy against the elements. More then likely many of the branches placed around the trunk had leaves at the time so it would have kept out the rain plus if something was living in such a den it would remain concealed because this would blend with the local fauna and surroundings. Meaning that if you stood far away you would think you were looking at a tree and underbrush around it. My son in the photos stands in front of one of them we found all together their was a few that were similar to the one you see in the pictures. One of the dens we found had four or five major tree limbs over 25' stacked around one of the trees then fortified with smaller branches and twigs around it. No matter what you believe one thing we have to agree on is someone or something made it this is not natural. More then likely when the area was cleared of brush it no longer concealed the dens and whatever was here probably moved on somewhere else in the mountains. I have seen this a few times during my journeys its rare but we have found deep in the forest and mountains quite a few shelters that were very primitive. Also we found what appears to be remnants of a track with some toe impressions perhaps its a hand that was placed down into the mud in the Purissima Redwoods Preserve. For those that are not aware bigfoot has many primate like features thus they can walk on all fours or use their arms and dig there knuckles into the earth to gain leverage when they are mobile or want to gain more speed. While these creatures are bipedal on occasion I have found hand print and knuckle impressions in the earth similar to the one I found below which was fresh due to a morning thunderstorm which I captured before the rains completely washed it away. This tells me between the impression and the shelters I found their might be some kind of correlation between the two. My first expedition I found piles of bones including a coyote or canine skull so its hard to say if a mountain lion was utilizing the shelters or bigfoot decided to grab a snack.

The first time I visited Aratas it was to enjoy its pumpkin patch however during my second visit I noticed this wooden gorilla statue which at first I thought was bigfoot lol. When I was trying to photograph the statue from the road two little dogs chased me it was pretty funny my family at least thought it was. This farm is well within the boundaries of both the Tunitas Creek and Purissima settlements. Some of the farms found in the area may be all that really is left of this once bustling community.
I generally do not post where locations are but since I went through hell to get back here I figured id save someone the hell of having to try to find the town cemetery. The easiest way to get there would be to hike behind these transformers up the hill along a small animal path which is generally overgrown. If you hike any other way to get here their are far more hazards such as rusty barbed wire so take it from me if you want to see it this is your best bet. I came here at night to scope out the path then came back during the day hours to do my research.

I met this bangal on the shores of San Gregorio making friends even of the furry kind is really what I enjoy most about my journeys. Sure we chase the paranormal but in between time we always have time for new found friends.
The best asian restaurant in the Half Moon Bay/Purissima area service is fast, food is great and its a very warm friendly little place not far from the ocean. Everytime we go out to Half Moon Bay to adventure we always have a nice dinner here nothing like great food at the end of a long journey! Very cultural friendly restaurant family owned!
