Our expedition would start off in the ElDorado National Forest or Carson Management area of Woods Lake. We would hike on in to the forest and take our expedition onto the Winnemucca Lake Trail ascending a thousand plus feet towards the lake and Round Top Peak.

The sun had just came up thus it was very cool out leaving many of the butterflies lethargic enough to touch all below Round Top Peak which sits about 1800' below this region we are hiking at. Very soon butterflies like the one you see in this video would take flight over the expanse meadows of wild flowers.

This region is home to the Lost Cabin Mine but it also has many other small claims that were development. Its said the local Mexican miners built this Arrastra used in crushing ore for its gold and silver. This is one of the many historical sites found along the way on this majestic hike.

Never underestimate the power of mother nature we found this gem off the path as icy water descends down into a basin from Lake Winnemucca. The more snow that melts the more intense the water gets creating natural waterfalls and even rapids.

We are leaving the ElDorado Forest and heading deeper on into the Mokelumne Wilderness which has a fairly great reputability for having Bigfoot like creatures. The wilderness has many high peaks so generally most of them stay snow capped even going into summer.

More raging waters and even waterfalls. You have to be careful in the sierras one wrong misstep and you could fall in and it could be your last breath. The waters appear to be following the trail we are on so we could see them for hundred of feet ahead of us just rumbling down the foothills of Round Top Peak.

Sometimes when you hike in the sierras you will have to cross over areas where seasonal creeks trickle or run over the trails. In this instance after a 100' of walking through water I had to film my wet feet. But who cares if our feet get wet this is what we live for!

This is our approach to the base of Round Top Peak and Lake Winnemucca. Pay very close attention to the chemtrail which is just spreading outwards over Round Top Peak and the area we were hiking. Now if you notice its not dissipating which leads me to believe the spraying is being done to combat global warming as later the skies would darken preventing the sun from getting through thus in turn it means less forest fires but also a possibility of breathing in toxins. Add this in with low oxygen levels and you will find it can be much harder to breath the air here.

While hiking around the lake we found this small rock with an engraving on it. Its hard to imagine but over the years thousands of people traversed this region some were the first pioneers of the wild west while others died in this harsh wilderness. Our video is dedicated at honoring those who once enjoyed this pristine land the same way we do.

I did not film this lady grunting at me but when she walked away I did turn on the camera to show you here angrily walking away. like an ogre. Of course all of us were laughing and making jokes about it because she was playing games on her phone and actually very rude to us. I was monster hunting little did I know I would come face to face with one!

Andy and I would cross this log across the creek to get to another area of the lake. An area that was much more moist and great for tracking a Bigfoot like creature. We actually did find this strange track with at least four and half toes deeply pressed into the mud. The spread and size of the toes were rather large could this have been Sasquatch leaving behind these toe impressions?

We finally reached the otherside of the lake when we found a few small dens perhaps good for a bear or mountain lion to seek shelter in so you do have to be careful. We could see our final destination off in the distance which was The Elephants Back as well. Since the south side of the lake hugs Round Top Peak it has more snow we were hoping to find tracks here that was at least

Andy found a track but after awhile I examined it and found it to be that of a bear. But this is not a bad thing it just means that their is wildlife in this region. If Bigfoot was omnivorous then its possible he might take down a bear for food consumption. Still this also meant we had to be vigilante of not running into the bear that made it.

In the gold rush gold was very prevalent in this region all the way from the lakes to the streams surrounding them. Its hard to see the gold I found here its not much maybe $10 to $50 dollars worth. Its better to just leave it and admire the sparkles within the water. We did notice their was fish in the lake these trout are more rare but are not very big. However in many of the lakes in the sierras their are trout which could sustain a Bigfoot like creature or a survivalist.

As we began to head east towards the Elephants Back we set off to find smaller pools of water or as they call them hidden ponds. We were able to find one of them which does not show up on GPS you just sort of have to explore. Such ponds may contain Bigfoot tracks if anything they are just a fun find if you like to see turtles and frogs.

We called this area the city of rocks imagine having to climb these massive rocks for nearly a mile one wrong slip it could be over if you hit your head or snap your leg between one of them. However their were some strange finds here for example the sunglasses in the bushes then this den we found which may not be paranormal but if something cryptid were to hide or seek some shelter this probably would be an ideal place to do it. There is no trail back here this my friends is pure wilderness!

We found this iced over pond and what I did was spread the team out to look for any sort of tracks in the snow. We did not find any but we did find these red holes within the ice and a couple times nearly fell through getting soaked. In the sierras your going to encounter all sorts of obstacles but you do what you have to do to bring forth the evidence.

This is one of the best views your going to get of Caples Lake its an area we have worked with in the past but to see it from the top of the Carson Pass is a beautiful treat while heading up to the top of the Elephants Back.

Not paranormal perhaps a bit fortean but nothing says "I Love You" like a heart shaped snow formation on the side of the Carson Passes most majestic of peaks. The team pointed this out to me and I thought it would be a ice treat for our viewers to see this symbol of love.

This is our journey to the top of the Elephants Back at least a large portion of it as I pieced together clips of our ascension. The higher we ascend the more vastness your going to see sites like Caples Lake, Lake Winnemucca, Woods Lake, Blue Lakes, Snowcapped Peaks of the Mokelumne Wilderness, Forestdale Divide, Red Peak and so many other great places. The volcanic rock is rather harsh causing us to nearly roll our ankles and slide allot. About half way into this video I slip which causes the came to go out of focus for about a minute but I get it fixed. We want you to enjoy us summating this 9,600' beast of volcanic rock.

There are days id rather enjoy a view like this then win the lottery. This view may not be the highest of peaks but you have for 360 degrees dozens of peaks, mountains, lakes, ponds, streams and multiple wilderness areas. This in my book is a million dollar view it was worth climbing the giant rocks, sliding on volcanic rocks on Elephant Rock and enduring the cold weather to reach the top. If you pay very close attention the skies are very dark after a series of chemtrails the sun just disappeared I believe that we experienced at the peak some sort of weather modification its very evident that no clouds rolled in but a gray haze mysteriously appears just above this region.

After smoking a cigar drinking a brew it was time to give our viewers the grand tour at the top of the Elephants Back as I take the camera peering over cliffs. The tour includes many sites like Stevens, Hawkins and Red Peak. You will also get to see Red Lake and the Devils Ladder where the early emigrants made their way up into the high sierras via wagon trail. You will get to see the Carson Pass and even Frog Lake below where we would journey to after taking in views from the Elephants Back. Also you will get to see some nice clips of Round Top Peak and its sisters which I climbed in 2013 beautifully snow capped.

The winds were extremely harsh while we tried to descend off the Elephants back. It would appear that going down is much easier then up but the winds caused me to have to put away the cam and concentrate on getting to a lower elevation. We did a test with a thermal detector and it read 40 degrees that is quite cold for being up here this time of year. Prior to that it was 20 degrees warmer till the chem trails appeared all over the sky.

When you descend off the Elephants back you have allot of options you can seek a lower elevation and cut into the Lake Winnemucca Trail. You can also find the Pacific Crest Trail if you go down on the eastern edge of it but beware their are cliffs and if you are not a good cliff climber that could spell doom. As we left Elephant Rock heading west we would have to push through forest and more large rocks to try to find a feasible path to Frog Lake.

We actually made it through the wilderness and found the path so from here out its all downhill. The path had some great views of Red and Stevens Peak. They consider this trail the Lake Winnemucca Trail but it eventually does turn into the Pacific Crest Trail at a split off about a half of mile below where we are at. Although its great trekking through the wilderness you know your a true mountain man when you can find your way back to civilization with no GPS or maps.

This is a truly beautiful lake I never knew it existed till I did further research. The foliage on the south side of the lake is very thick perfect for a bigfoot like creature to hide in. While I was filming this video some guy was chasing me no lie he was scruffy, mean looking and almost ran me right off the trail even though I was moving at a fairly steady speed. The guys made a joke said he was a cave man and he may have been one of these wild men but we found it strange that he was hiking on a ridge to the south then turned back to chase me. Yeah was not liking me very much but alas the beautiful Frog Lake and what a beautiful backdrop as well.

This is meant to be a fun video not everything we do is about seeking out the unknown sometimes its nice to just throw a few knives at trees and skip some rocks. Then again you could be like me shoving jelly beans in your mouth or as I call it candy crack and having the guys farting while your trying to film a cool video. Thanks guys I appreciate it lol. We spent a good hour messing around at Frog Lake it was fun I mean we completed our expedition why not have a little fun right? Boys will be boys!

Believe it or not although wolves are rare in the high sierras they do exist I have friends that have seen a few packs of them. We believe we found some wolf tracks along the shores of Frog Lake but who knows maybe someone has a very large canine no less we found out that most of the tracks we found in this region are small predators. Sure we found a bear print and a possible wolf track but this might explain why their is such an absence of Bigfoot in this particular region as the food supply here is just not plentiful.

I will say it again and again it was one of those days. In one day we climbed over rapids, rocks, streams, summated a mountain, was chased by a wild man, grunted at by an ogre and partied 10k above the top of the sierras. We seen lakes, waterfalls, peaks and even pushed through snow. We battled the sun and the intense cold. It was just one of those days that you will never be able to get out of your minds. As we left Frog Lake we talked about our day no regrets just glory!

Honestly we lost site of the trail not sure what went wrong maybe we became side tracked with scenic views and meadows of wild flowers. But we ended up in an area full of rocks the size of trucks and all we could do is seen the Carson Pass far below but no path. We would have to rock scramble, climb, meander through small meadows etc to find our way onto the Pacific Crest Trail. Although we could have descended off this vista point down to the past at the time we were lost in trying to find the trail itself. Things out in the sierras can take a turn very quickly if you do not keep your cool. This area we discovered was like a lost world for primates allot of rocks, trees and places for something to hide unseen.

Jarrod and Andy discovered this track I was far behind them photographing nature. But when I came up on it after doing a thorough study a few things stuck out as being strange. A. The track was extremely wide and deep which most human tracks found in the area were not. B. Their were toe impressions perhaps three but still they were toes C. Their were no other tracks found like this period which means that either something was covering them up with a branch or they left the path by just crossing over it briefly. It could be an adolescent or juvenile Bigfoot and based on my study the track was very fresh which means we missed whatever made it by a matter of minutes perhaps. Below this area is a heavily forested area with a pond and allot of rocks. I wonder if something tried to make its way down there to seek shelter or perhaps remain elusive at.

We were finally on our last trek to the Carson Pass it would be awhile before we would make it back to the jeep as we were miles still away. The final trek to the bottom is rather steep we took the wash which is a bit more tedious lots of rocks, large steps down, boulders etc. But we were not to far away from reaching the bottom of the pass where it levels out making the hike so much easier considering the amount of climbing we spent that day.

Please pardon my mistake as their is a grave site in this same area and I had thought this was it. But upon further research I found out that this is a C monument or C-block which were used to mark the right-of-way for California highways in the earlier days of establishing highway corridors in California. Today the blocks are no longer in use and very few remain this is just one of those that remained in the place. Its still a great historic find since they really do not use them anymore. This block was on an old historic road probably where the old highway ran through before it became Highway 88!

In the 1840's Kit Carson accompanied an explorer named Fremont though the sierras it was a brutal scenario with allot of snow and food was scarce. However during that exploration they mapped out the pass and many of the scenic locations you see in our expeditions. Kit Carson came back in later years to carve his name onto a tree something I have also done up at Lake Margaret in 2013. Snowshoe Thompson who resided in one of the first settlements in NV called Genoa used massive skis to traverse the sierras with no weapon just a pure survivalist to deliver mail, supplies to local towns and conduct rescues never accepting one red cent. Both men in my opinions are true explorers I try to follow in their footsteps in my opinion these were great men and these historic monuments are a remembrance of them.

I put this special clip together of a closed down forestry road that we took through the ElDorado forest. I had done allot of studying about this road which kept us off the highway which btw has no shoulder and is not safe for our team. The road ran a couple miles taking us to the main road that takes you into Woods Lake where our jeep was parked. So basically in all reality we hiked up to Lake Winnemucca to the top of the Elephants Back to the East then to Frog Lake and the Carson Pass to the south. Eventually traverse westward down the highway till we could cut through the forest heading westward then south down the road back to where we were parking journeying at least 10 to 12 miles since we could not park at two different places. This compilation is our journey down the road which included a few cigars and a journey through a very heavily forested area that feels at times like anything could be watching or even jump out at you. This was the road less taken!
