Our first exploration of Yosemite would take us to many well known landmarks including the Lambert Dome. The national park is full of unique geological formations such as domes, sheer granite cliffs and many scenic locations. This is one of them as I take you on a bridge that crosses the Tuolumne River. Notice the trout in the water this region at one time provided the local natives with an abundance of fish, wild game and vegetation.	Off in the distance you can see Half Dome and on this hike we are traversing on foot into the massive Yosemite Canyon. This is your gateway into the heart of the Yosemite Valley although I did not hike the entire trail I will say that its absolutely a beautiful hike full of rock formations and stellar views of the massive canyon below.

The strangest find in exploration one was an area of wetlands deep in the woods off the Tioga pass where we found a few tracks. Although this one is not very large their was a couple heel impressions then this deep track with some toe imprints. It could be an adolescent Bigfoot it was obvious based on our research no humans had been back along here. Strangely their was a wash nearby which takes you up into a canyon its a bit odd of a find.	This is my personal log after our first day exploring Yosemite as I camp out at the Tuolumne Lodge. Its rather cozy but nonetheless not safe from bears as wildlife walks right through camp. I know this because after dinner I was walking to my tent and came face to face with a deer. Being a monster hunting has its perks if you enjoy the outdoors but its also allot of hard work such as enduring the cold and allot of patience. In this case my birthday was spent monster hunting! We never planned on camping but their was so much to do, see and research we ended up resting for the night. These are the journeys of The Paranormal & Ghost Society!

Bridalveil Falls is around 617 feet the natives believed that by getting near its mist it would improve your chance of marriage. They also believed that a vengeful spirit named Pohono guarded the entrance into the Yosemite Valley that made its home at the base of the falls. This is one of the most active waterfalls in the valley and its rather amazing at how close you can get near it.	When I was driving near Bridalveil Falls I happened to spot this large bear lumbering off into the woods. I followed him for quite a ways and took out the video camera followed by some really great photographs. If you notice he does turn and look at me a little he is aware of my presence. Please do not try this at home these are wild creatures and they can be very dangerous. I wanted however to show you how at times its easy to mistaken a bear as a Bigfoot considering the fact that if this monster bear were to stand up from afar it could lead to mistaken identity. So as a cryptozoologist we have to learn to differentiate Sasquatch and its tracks from that of a bear of this size.

You are viewing from afar the highest waterfalls in all of North America. This may just be one of the most amazing sites and scenic views in all of this national park. In front of me are meadows which at one time were used by sheep herders in the 1800s and those who raised live stock. Over the years quite allot of people have passed away due to these falls the natives believed that they are cursed by witches.	Prior to this cemetery being erected in the 1870s it was an Indian burial ground used by the natives. Today many of the burials were early pioneers who lived in Camp Curry and Yosemite Village. Allot of the graves are that of children most are carved out of stone found locally. It is a very wonderful historic site in the heart of the Yosemite Valley.

You cannot go wrong when history is mixed with such a gorgeous wilderness. The cemetery is surrounded by thousand foot cliffs near some of the valleys most well known historic sites. In this short clip I show you more of the cemetery including one of the engravings.	This is a clip of the Lower Yosemite Falls which still stand at a height of over 300'. Generally most people stay around the bridge unless you feel a little more daring and want to get closer. This is a huge tourist attraction but back in the day the natives fought the early pioneers over its water. During the Spring the falls are at full force so this was a great time of year to film them for our viewers.

This is about as close to the falls as I could get without going over and meeting my doom. I had spent time climbing the wet rocks along the falls to not only get these awesome photos but the video footage. I am completely soaked by the waterfalls sheer power as it throws off mist. The natives believed that witches have cursed the pools below the falls and it just might be true considering how many have lost their lives here. It is one of the most exhilarating experiences in the world but also very dangerous. Although this is the lower section of the falls they are a force!	My kids actually found a hole in the rocks which during the filming a hiker came up to me and told me they call this Spider Cave. It is not uncommon for caves like these to exist within Yosemite's granite rocks as they could have been formed from glaciers overturning mass amounts of rock. The question is without any lights but my cell phone would I decide to go in and explore them or would I turn back?

What can I say I couldn't resist its like putting candy in front of a kid as it is finding a cave to explore. I did not have all my gear it was back at the truck so I would have to explore the cave in darkness with just my cell phone light. The cave had about five chambers which we have photos available on our site most of them very tight squeezes. A little light shines down from above and beyond this point is a hole which leads down into the darkness. Notice when I ask my kids about exploring the cave one is all for it the other has the look like he just seen a ghost lol. I was told their was not spiders in the cave but their was so its probably better we did not have any good lighting!	Upon reaching the end of the caves all that keeps me from reaching the light is a small hole leading out from the granite rocks that I would squeeze out of. It felt pretty good to be out of the cave although they were interesting the fresh air was nice after being inside of them for nearly a half hour if not more. This would not be the first time I been known to crawl into a hole and come out the otherside haha.

This site just shows how Yosemite is home to historic sites like this gem. This is home to the Sierra Club and it really was the first visitors center in Yosemite which is one of the countries oldest national parks. Today more or less this stone architectural wonder is a learning center and sits at the bottom of the valley.	Our final time spent in Yosemite would be this scenic road tour through the Tioga Pass at sunset. Just seeing this makes it so hard to leave but our first exploration was a success and we look forward to doing more paranormal research and exploring in the region. Yosemite is an ancient land full of mystery, lore, mysticism, culture, waterfalls and some of the most unique geological rock formations in the western continental United States. I spent awhile trying to film this video for our viewers, friends and fans. This is what its all about enjoy!
