The Jobs Peak expeditions are the biggest Sasquatch expeditions in the year of 2012 for The Paranormal & Ghost Society. The hike starts off in the Carson Valley through sage brush eventually turning into a forest of Jeffrey Pines and lush ecosystem. The Jobs Peak area is historically significant just as much as its adventurous. It truly is where the Eastern Sierras began and our journey into Bigfoot country! Expedition one would occur during the transit of Venus a very special and rare event.

Along the Lonesome Trail is this old Washoe Cemetery. The Washoe people have traversed these mountains for nearly 9000 years although the cemetery is not that old it is significant to the region. Our journey would eventually take us off the trail beyond this cemetery as we would climb a good portion of Jobs peak where we would search for any strange Bigfoot evidence. At one time in the 1800's over 250,000 emigrants pass through this area.

These tracks not only have toe impressions but they are on a steep edge of Jobs peak along a deer trail. Dave pointed out that at about 8' above us were some broken branches as if something stood still behind the tree leaving the tracks and perhaps hunting for any game that traversed this small path. The tracks were about 16" a fairly common size found in this region based on our research. We are very certain that Bigfoot was here!

Climbing Jobs Peak is a grueling task from the front of it. The mountain was formed over 10 million years ago when many volcanoes in the region erupted. Today the mountains are still being pushed upward combining that with decomposed granite this is a very physically challenging mountain to climb. We are on the edge of steepness one wrong move meant tumbling possibly to our deaths.

Climbing this granite would prove challenging as everything we touched crumbled in our hands. At times we were not able to make much headway as we climbed on our hands and knees. Their are very few places that we could take a rest at without sliding or slipping. The entire mountain is granite and allot of it is very unstable however its also a great place to find tracks as heavier creatures do leave good impressions.

Upon climbing up the steep side of Jobs Peak we ended up finding another large impression. It was a nice surprise as it was obvious no humans had climbed or been this way in years if ever. The other nice surprise was the lovely view of the Carson Valley that resided behind us the higher we traversed.

This is a nice clip of the Carson Valley as we are nearing the top of Jobs Peak. We definitely earned our badges climbing above the forest floor below. Towns like Gardnerville and Minden are visible along with many other ranches. Some of those ranches have been around since the valley first was settled it doesn't get any better then this to see them from above and appreciate such beautiful scenery at this elevation.

We begin to learn that climbing Jobs peak is truly not as bad as trying to get off of it. We are surrounded by cliffs, rocks are filling our shoes and to make matters worst we have no choice but to butt slide off this part of the mountain. We just toked one after our climb so honestly it is like a Cheech and Chong episode gone bad just watch the next video and you will understand!

Their is nothing worst on a mountain then climbing down near an edge and not being able to see what is in front of you. In this case Dave gets ahead of himself then realizes that no matter how much you butt slide a drop off is a drop off. Meanwhile I am hanging onto a tree branch while he is laying on his back were laughing so hard I can barely pull myself up while Dave has nothing to grab onto. I never laughed so hard in such a bad bind in my life nearly pissed my pants.

While I was on the cam filming Dave decided to go around the cliff and find a safe way for us to get off Jobs peak. Surprisingly in doing so Dave jumps out onto a ledge spreads his arms wide open and goes Oh-Yeah like he is the Kool-Aid man seriously. I am not sure if he hit his head while butt sliding or it was the lack of oxygen in the air nonetheless these were some pretty good times on the expedition.

This is a pretty funny video I tell Dave to move as I had a loose boulder between my legs which I had to let go. Well nonetheless it still almost hits him were both butt sliding and to make matters worst Dave is calling his wife to say his goodbyes. Have you heard of Cryptozoology? Well we welcome you to some Cryptoinsanity at its best!

As we started to make our way off the mountain Dave and I could not help noticing something moving around following us. At times I would catch something moving around swiftly could have been a mountain lion or maybe Bigfoot himself. We were only a couple hours from nightfall so we were working our way down into a canyon where we would wrap up our expedition.

Ever hear of Murphy s Law? I was just joking around with Dave when towards the end of the video something caught my eye to the right in the forest. They were a series of enormous tracks which will be revealed to you in the next couple of videos. As you can see we were hiking in a very dense part of the woods behind us we were leaving the cliffs behind we just climbed off of. Its a pretty secluded area of Jobs peak as we were making our descent.

This is a discovery only most Bigfoot hunters dream of to find a series of tracks that are not only large but very consistent. You can hear Dave in the background he says over and over OMG. I have to agree with him they are amazing and on the expedition we did follow them you will be very surprised where they lead.

Dave and I carefully examine the tracks they are extremely compressed and deep. Whatever came through here was extremely large in size. In this video you will see measurements as well as a bit of discussion about the tracks themselves. Hence from this point forward we concluded that their are monsters in the woods especially these ones. If you notice the tracks mysteriously vanish then reappear later on they are very strange and some possess toe impressions.

Dave takes the cam to film me measuring and trying to replicate the tracks. We continue to follow them where they take us to a sandy area in the forest where their are deer tracks. It appears to be two sets of Bigfoot tracks a larger one and a smaller one. It also appears that where the tracks end we found dozens of deer tracks so perhaps this is its main food source as they are abundant in the region.

Their is nothing better then celebrating a successful expedition with a cigar or an ice cold beer. Our first expedition turned out to be a very successful one however the winds are growing thus I am having allot of trouble even lighting my cigar. But eventually I do get it lit where I am able to enjoy a second stroll in the Carson Valley as we admire Jobs Peak from below!

Dave and I are making one last trip to the Washoe Cemetery to take some EVP's. We are heading onto the Lonesome trail the transit of Venus is taking place and we spent sometime discussing theories for the tracks. I really do think no matter what we came up with their was no other possibility other then the fact that Bigfoot roams the Jobs Peak area and was probably watching us as we traversed the treeline to the forest.

This old wagon is a reminder that at one time many emigrants once traversed this region. While some sought out gold others build ranches below Jobs Peak. This area I am filming at was the site of a murder but also a hanging. Its also near the site of one of the first ranches to have settled the Carson Valley. Allot of history not only surrounds this mountain but allot of scenic beauty. A great way to finish our first expedition here!

The moon is bright and we are hiking up into Jobs Peak this time at night which is our second expedition. All is calm along the Carson Upland Trail which would eventually take us to other trails in the region that we could focus our investigation on.

The Valley View trail actually cuts behind many large homes at the base of the mountains of the Carson Range. It also is a wonderful trail at night to traverse on as it provides wonderful views of the towns lit up at night in the Carson Valley. Along the trail we encountered some rock formations as large as houses up here but not much strangeness.

The Lonesome Trail at night is truly where the Jobs Peak area becomes rather woodsy. Their is a bit of an eerie feeling back here perhaps its because the old Native Cemetery resides along the trail thus it does represent over a century of history if not more back here. The trail is a bit sandy and rough to traverse on especially with my recent ankle injury.

When I heard water flowing I climbed through the thick brush to show our viewers Luther Creek which physically flows right through the foliage and woods. At one time many years ago this creek use to flow into the Carson River now ranchers use it to irrigate their land for crops and cattle. At one time it also had cutthroat trout in it but more or less its just a fast moving creek that flows through Luther Canyon flowing from 5,000' above.

Ira Luther built a sawmill along this portion of Luther Creek which then he could transport the lumber to be used in the construction of the Comstock in Virginia City. Luther Creek ran through the Luther's Milk Cellar to prevent their perishables from spoiling as the water stays cool all year around. This hidden spot back in the woods may have been the location where the sawmill once stood.

Earlier I was tree banging when I took a bad fall rolling down a hill. I stood up again to finish the job as Tammy filmed me. We were hoping for results however the results we got later after this video was a deer coming up to us. This video is more of a how to for amateur Bigfoot Hunters looking to communicate with these creatures by a method we use called tree banging. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not depending on the situation.

Our third expedition would take place up in Luther Canyon and atop of Wades Point which border Jobs Peak. This would be our biggest expedition to date that would include a 15 hour hike as we would collect further evidence. We would start at the Carson Upland Trail which would take us to locations we never experienced before.

Our first track of expedition three would be an impression followed by a fresh impression of a barefoot with preserved toes in some soft sand. This was a great start since we found this track within the first hour of our expedition amongst the Jeffrey Pines which are very abundant in the region. The track was very large but again what made it very special was the fact that it revealed similarity to a primate foot but at a much larger scaled proportion.

What your viewing is the entrance up into Luther Canyon. Our hike alone would nearly take us about 4 miles on in before we would began to climb Wade Point which is to the left in this clip and stands at over 9k! The Luther Creek meanders through the center of the canyon so foliage is very thick and the sun is really heating up.

Jarrod and I are in Luther Canyon fairly deep. The Carson Valley we are leaving behind gets smaller with each step we take. We know its to late to turn back now no matter how hot the sun gets or where this journey will take us. We know that we are not alone out here as nature is all around us as I give our viewers this grand view.

Hiking into Luther Canyon this time of year is dangerous as the trails are steep and their is a deep ravine. Not only do we have to conquer steep grades but also their are scorpions and rattlesnakes found here during the warmer months so we do have to use caution with every step that we take. The Luther Pass goes directly up in the high sierras some failed to make it back in the 1800s. The Natives would use this pass to migrate to Lake Tahoe in the warmer months.

The real adventure begins once you traverse the path less traveled. However in this case their is no path as Jarrod and I climb through thickets and foliage for nearly a mile. Our goal is to work our way towards Luther Creek then eventually cross it and climb all the way to the top of Wades Point. This journey would not be an easy one this is a very offbeat area where humans have not traversed through in years if at all.

The years of swift water from Luther Creek have created a very steep ravine one that if you were to fall into without climbing down safely could be a disaster. We are so close to hearing the rapids however we had to follow the ravine to an area that would be less steep and safer to cross. We were out of the brush but not out of the woods!

When we pushed our way through the brush we came out onto this open sandy area where we found these two tracks 5' apart. Strangely their are no more tracks its like they derive right out of the brush then disappearing. Their are no tread marks hell its the strangest thing I have ever seen as we wondered why they failed to continue onward and what made them as it stepped through the very brush we had issues with.

Crossing Luther Falls would prove challenging as you see for one we had to work our way down into the ravine. Then we would have to find a way to cross the creek without slipping down the series of waterfalls further down stream. Once we crossed it was so steep we would have no choice but to crawl on our hands and knees without slipping back into the creek.

This large stool sample was found on a very steep grade not to far from the creek. Their is no hair found in the stool it also was very black meaning whatever this was had a high iron content or was a meat eater. We do feel what we have here is from a Sasquatch and we did collect the sample. Sadly with it not being so fresh DNA may be impossible to collect. We noticed near the sample some pretty large tracks in the soft granite their is no known animal species that could create stool like this in this area we are sure what we have here is from Bigfoot.

We found this scratched up log on the side of Wades Point which revealed some hair stuck to some of the splinters. The hairs could have came from a deer or some other animal or possibly Bigfoot was trimming down his nails we may never know for sure however it is important to be very meticulous on our investigations such as in this clip.

This is a very unusual pile of stool Jarrod had found although it is not as astounding as our previous sample we also collected this one just in case. It was obvious that it resembled human stool what made it we may never know could be a mountain lion or an adolescent Sasquatch possibly.

Jarrod and I found some strange impressions heading up along Wades Point. Keep in mind their are no trails to Wades Point as a matter in fact most of the mountain side is fallen trees, loose dirt and rocks. Its not an easy mountain to climb however the tracks we found were deep and seemed to be very erratic as if whatever made them was working its way up to the peak.

This is a wonderful clip with great views of Luther Canyon below and Jobs Peak across from it. You can only feel so small compared to the canyon below when you are looking down into it from sitting back along the steep edges of Wades Point. We still have a long ways to the peak but with views of the canyon, valley and peak it is only a matter of time till we reach our destination.

In this clip you get some really good views of the Carson Valley as we stand on a ridge just below the peak of Wades Point. The peak is within our grasp but we still have hundreds of feet of more climbing and it will not be easy since the crown is composed of steep rocks. The view up here is gorgeous as we are 8 thousand feet above the Carson Valley.

The hardest part of our climb would be this section of our climb which consisted of allot of loose rock and pine needles. It didn't matter how hard we pushed on it took us over an hour just to traverse a few hundred feet. We could see the top of Wades Point however no matter what we did each step had to be taken with care if we wanted to stand on top of the peak.

As we make our way towards the peak the sun is really hot over 90 degrees however this Hawk in flight gives us hope to continue to push on. We are also finding small dens not big enough for a creature like Bigfoot to hide in so we do have to use some caution. Unfortunately we cannot grab the rocks to climb higher they are to hot to grab onto.

As we near the peak we find many unusual rock formations. This could be due to the fact that at one time most of these mountains were active volcanoes which transformed over the years. Within these spires are sometimes natural caves or dens so we did check some of them for any bedding or signs of Bigfoot.

We have finally made it atop of Wades Point across from it you can see Jobs Peak and the beautiful Carson Valley. Our battle would be far from over as much as we would have fun exploring the peak a couple hundred feet ahead we would have to find a way off the mountain as nightfall would be approaching. Our next goal will be to climb and stand atop of Jobs Peak!

Wades Point is a fairly large peak with allot to explore. This clip talks about the scenery it also discusses allot of fake television shows like "Haunted Highway" who I worked with. Jarrod also presents some cloth we found which we believe may be of native origin and I surprise him with some special rocks I found while climbing. Its a nicely done video that shows you some of the landmarks from thousands of feet above the Carson Valley and talks about our expedition.

Our journey into Carson Valley would take us down a very steep wash/canyon as we carefully made our way down into it. Our goal would be to get down into the valley which would be a 4,500' descent. Below we could see ranches including a lake off in the distance.

Their is no other way to go but down unfortunately the descent turned ugly. Jarrod knocked a huge boulder onto my bad ankle. The rocks were so loose and terrain that we ended up falling into thorn brush. During this break I stop to interview Jarrod he has his own views about Bigfoot and he has seen him. How can you not like this young cryptozoologist afterall he was trained by me lol!

We found this skull fragment with the antlers still attached. Although its not unusual for a buck to lose his antlers these ones were covered in blood and a good portion of its skull was still attached. Their was no other bones from the deer in the area we found these but it was obvious whatever happened that this buck died. Both Jarrod and I were getting a bit vigilante as we heard something following us down the wash it was obvious a predator was lurking.

Dusk has set in video was brightened for easier viewing. We had descended off of Wades Point with only a mile to the road. I was injured with a baseball sized ankle, bloody knee, stab wound and over forty lacerations. Photos of the injuries are available on our website. Jarrod and I took a break but we had to keep moving as he spotted something black and tall staring down at him which scared him prior to me filming this video. I was bruised, broken and we still had allot of foliage to climb through alone just to get to the road to be picked up. Things were looking very dismal at this point of the expedition!

While traversing through the sage brush we came up upon these skeletal remains of probably either a cattle or a bear. I found a hip bone about 20' which led me to this entire skeleton which was scattered. It was a unusual find and fairly obvious that a predator had gotten to it based on the fact that the bones were scattered and some even broken as if they were chewed upon. I am not saying Bigfoot did this but at this point it was obvious a predator had gotten to this animal and what remained are its bones found at the bottom of the canyon where we would escape to the road. We will return and we will stand on top of Jobs Peak coming to you in September of 2012!

We started off expedition four at sunrise our goal is to climb up into Luther Canyon then eventually between Jobs and Jobs Sister peak till we reach the summit. From afar this may not look like much but it is truly one of the highest peaks within the Carson Range. From a distance it just looks as if this is a large granite mountain up close trees and rock formation grace this monster.

We would start our journey off at the Carson Valley tripling the difficulty of the hike. From the bottom we could see that this mountain is a beast one that would require everything we had to reach the summit. What makes the journey so difficult is not just the elevation gain but the thick foliage and loose granite. This would make the journey a long difficult one ahead of us.

The sun is gleaming over the Lonesome Trail Cemetery which from our last visit has been restored. The cemetery is a historic site along the trail that is along the way in Faye-Luther Canyon. The cemetery is native to the Washoe where at one time the tribe crossed Jobs Peak to migrate to Lake Tahoe in the warmer months.

Jeffrey Pines surround much of the lower portion of Jobs Peak. These toe impressions were found near an area we found a massive barefoot track on expedition three. We have to speculate that whatever is making them comes down into the Jeffrey Pines to hunt or gather food.

These tracks were found in a hidden area in the canyon.they are roughly 16" and similar in size to other tracks we found on previous expeditions. You can see that their are four tracks in total as I enclosed a photo at the end of the clip. All four are the same size, fairly deep and the pine needles are pushed outwards. Whatever made them was truly a monster!

This is truly where the ascension would began as we climbed up into Luther Canyon. Not allot of trees grow here but their is allot of sharp foliage. We would make our way on the switchbacks along the deep canyon where we would look for tracks and find a way to traverse to the top of Jobs Peak.

I call this wash/gully the belly of the beast it is a very narrow canyon that ascends rather quickly. The wash is full of harsh brush, sharp granite walls and decomposed granite. There is only one way to go and that is up however we have no idea how far since the visibility of everything around us is blocked by walls of rock.

The granite walls will decide our fate some of them transcend vertically while others are just very steep. I ended up falling 12' down one of them scraping up my legs when I could not grip onto the rocks without them crumbling. Every single wall is challenging and needs to be handled differently with extreme caution.

We are nearing the halfway point to our climb however there are no room for errors as I stand on the edge of a rock wall. As you can see the higher we ascend the more treacherous it gets as foliage becomes harsher which is cutting my legs up. We can also view the Carson Valley and Luther Canyon from this elevation. Across from the wash is Wades Point an area we worked with on expedition three.

We took a break at this location were nearly level with Wades Point which puts us at over 8k. Looking down into the wash you can see how steep it is and the fruits of our labor. We would probably traverse another thousand feet before we would camp for the night. The granite is so decomposed that we were not making much headway.

As we ascend higher their is a glimmer of hope as we find the rocky ridge and crown of Jobs Peak. Even though we cannot see the sister peak we know its only a few hundred feet higher then Jobs. We also are level nearly with Wades Point so we are at about 9k hope is within our grasp.

This hidden lair/den we found may have at one time provided shelter for a Sasquatch. Its just a prime example that their are places something cryptid could hide in. This is a very secretive location so something unknown could hide here for months without ever being seen. Their is some bedding inside the den but nothing that stands out of the ordinary.

Although this track is a bit hard to see we found it at nearly 10k hidden amongst some brush and rocks. The track is that of a barefoot we knew this because we found gravel separating the grooves between the toe impressions. Later on further beyond this impression we found other deep impressions as if something tried to traverse the side of Jobs Sister Peak.

The sun began to set and we knew we would not be able to make it back safely the same way we came up so we camped. The only wonderful thing about our camp spot is we had a nice view of Wades Point and the Carson Valley. Sadly with no sleeping bag, tent or supplies it would get down to 40 degrees making it one very uncomfortable night. We would plan on resting till sunrise then continuing our journey to the summit.

We had survived the night by sleeping on sand and pine needles. The sunrise brought warmth but also new hope. It allowed us to continue to the summit and really see where we were at within the climb. Our night was spent under the full moon with beautiful views of Mars. Our day would be filled with new hope as the sun glistened upon us.

We finally reached our goal this is what being on top of the world really feels like. Life at almost 11k allows us to view the high sierras, Carson valley, Gardnerville, Minden, Indian Hills, Topaz Lake, Mud Lake, Carson City, Pine Nut Mountains, Genoa, Freel Peak, Lake Tahoe, Jacks Valley, Washoe Lake and even Mt. Rose. This is a great video which allows you to get an entire perspective of the region we spent so much time conducting our Bigfoot research at here in 2012. It all comes to full circle at the top of Jobs Peak with great views and even a series of photos near the end of the video labeling the various sites.

While enjoying our dinner at the summit we spotted this paraglider. At first I did not know much about this sport but this paraglider circled over us a few times then ascended a couple more thousand feet. Prior to this we also seen an air glider from the Minden airport in the sky which is a common site. If you think the view is great on Jobs Peak can you imagine what it looks like above it?

We decided to take Freedom Canyon back down to the valley floor. We had no idea what we were in for when we made this decision. The mouth of the canyon is full of sheer cliffs and loose rocks. Eventually when you get about halfway down it splits up into washes full of boulders and loose rocks. Not to mention walls of sharp foliage that are impossible to get through without getting cut up. Our descent would began where freedom awaits!

As the canyon narrows we came across some very dangerous obstacles such as falling boulders, loose rocks and even drop-offs. I remember after filming this I had to climb a 20' cliff and thought what if a rock gives away and I fall. Even if the fall or injury does not lead to death it could lead to being stuck in the canyon. It was so steep and the granite was so sharp that it was painful descending.

Two things you learn when sliding A. Keep the rocks out of all your cracks and B. Protect your family jewels. Trying to teach your kid how to do so is like trying to explain the birds and the bees. Jarrod is redneck sledding and I am just trying to survive since we took two separate paths!

First before you view this video know that I had no idea I was wearing a G-String second let me just say that an hour later It was bare ass once the protective layer of clothing was gone. I didn't ask for this nor did I expect to slide down granite slopes at times 30' at a time so by the end of our expedition I lost a layer of skin. With the g-string also comes the sand in the shoes and abrasions you never knew you had. You will not see this just on any typical Bigfoot jaunt but you will see it at the Paranormal & Ghost Society!

Darkness is beginning to consume the canyon and the Carson Valley. We were nearing 40 hours of adventuring and still had miles till we hit the road. Ahead of me you can see the forest where the canyon begins to narrow. The wash then turns into a steep gully of boulders, rocks and loose granite. All surrounded by brush and foliage giving us the ultimate challenge as darkness falls.

We are now in total darkness surpassing 40 hours on the expedition. The woods and foliage are so dense that they eliminated the full moon. All we can see miles off in the distance are homes dimly lit in the  Carson valley. The wash was killing me as water ran out my legs were cramping so each step down per rock was a hardship and I ended up having to drink my own urine only eventually would we come across Freedom creek where we could drink from its fresh waters. We dealt with snakes, scorpions, forest and high desert. This would be a very intense ending to our fourth expedition!
