As some of you are aware we investigated the NV State Orphans Asylum back in the summer of 2014 and with them slowly demolishing the sites I wanted to make a return trip on Christmas Eve to close out our case here. My main goal? To capture something undeniably that is paranormal that we could substantiate with solid evidence and finds.

Not only is Sunny Acres haunted but its a historical site and should be designated as that. But sadly with each passing year were beginning to see less and less of an orphanage and more of a city park.

With it being Christmas Eve every year we try to do some investigations close to the holiday season except the orphanage I was told made a big how to do therefore I felt it would be a good time to investigate the grounds a second time. Only this time would be at night which is really a totally different type of investigation.

It was a quiet night sure you have some traffic from the expressway nearby but at night this park and historic site is dead quiet. Which allows us to turn out a good investigation because we can focus on anything miniscule. Such as odd noises or apparitions for example which tend to be more prevalent during a more quiet investigation.

I like Sunny Acres the grounds have allot of history and based on our second investigation I do truly believe its a designated haunted site. So many people come here to jog or play in the park but with the history comes the ghosts and they are present on the grounds. I would take Tammy and Jarrod with me they seem to be pretty observant of certain things when it comes to haunted places so it was good to have them with me.

I have to say that this was one of our more crazier investigations and let me explain as to why. When we arrived there I parked at this old hangar like building and garage. Nearby is an old wooden structure which is boarded up the same area someone noticed some distortion in my photograph and told me it would be a good focal spot to concentrate our investigation on. She was truly right spot on because at the foyer of this building I seen what looked like something moving left to right very fast almost like a misty figure.

I can imagine that the grounds have many entities afterall children did die here and earlier I take back what I said about this being a happy place. I have talked to folks who were orphans at this place and they were abused. I think that most locals are happy to see this place go when you really look at the gravity of the situation most of the kids had no homes, abuse and disease ran wild here. My opinion changed based on factual information I was given and it saddens me but one can see why the grounds might contain so many entities some being negative perhaps.

I would also focus on the old gym that building is the oldest on site dating back to the 1800's their is also this old bent basketball hoop so when the wind blows it makes a creaking sound. The old gym is truly an amazing site but its the last of the stone buildings left on site. Nearby is an old maintenance building made out of brick Jarrod had found a hole which I peered in. I seen all sorts of supplies inside like desk, water tank, air unit etc etc I can imagine that most of the sites on the grounds are now used to store such things inside.

There are many cottages on the grounds one of them the fridge we seen outside of it was stolen the other one had a small camera that was operational so apparently their must be kids who come here to cause problems. Then again the state uses the buildings so maybe they have to have them there no less its one of the parks where someone can walk the grounds day or night and be safe here.

One of the cottages I heard a strange noise coming from inside maybe a rodent its hard to say but it sounded like a screech very strange to say the least. When you begin to hear things inside the cottages which are sealed up one must wonder. You cant pin point it you have no idea because you cant see inside them so it could be anything does not even mean its paranormal these cottages have rusty pipes. Jarrod and I found this giant metal box which was empty inside something we did not see last time just as much as a crawlspace under a cottage.

I really could not count on my EMF detector here because there are power lines and poles that surround the park. But I did take EVP's and do spirit photography something I do time to time when I feel inclined to prove that a location is haunted. It kind of works like being a medium you sort of feel out where the ghosts are then you photograph them its always been something I was good at doing. Were not talking orbs but getting proof that apparitions do roam this park and hell that might save the gym from being demolished I like to think so.

There was another strange incident that occurred here while roaming the grounds. Jarrod and I were walking near the old gym when we heard these vocalizations. Keep in mind I not only captured on video but also the audio of it on my recorder so when you visit our site yes you can hear it in two different locations then form your own conclusions. It sounded like bigfoot to me it was loud and echoed down from the mountains. Not allot of folks realize this but the sierras sneak right up onto Carson Cities door thus animals like black bear, deer and other animals sometimes come down into the neighborhoods. I cant say for sure this was bigfoot but based on how loud it was whatever made this had to have some very large vocal chords.

About halfway through I was off by myself when a federal cop pulled up on the grass he did not even see me he was looking at Tammy and Jarrod thinking they were some high school kids messing around in the park. I had explained to him we were just walking around taking pictures he did run our ID's then wished us a Merry Christmas after we talked about the weather or storm coming in then he left. Carson has some pretty nice cops not all are that way but most of them are pretty friendly and they are not power hungry to throw you in jail just for wandering this location. Nice cop though I mean I just walked up to him and he said hi to me so we started talking.

We also found another building with a hole again chairs stacked up and cobwebs everywhere. You can tell these buildings have not been used in a long time I still wish I could have toured the old wooden and stone buildings on campus before they were demolished. But back then I did not live up in this region so I missed it by a long shot. It seems that most asylums, orphanages, sanitariums etc are all vanishing in this country or being torn down. Very little remains of Sunny Acres what does I am trying to preserve through our work!

I was very shocked to find that the sports complex is gone nothing but a few pieces of green wood and a few chunks of concrete. I am not sure why they removed it granted its not as historical as the gym it just goes to show you that the orphanage site is being transformed. More and more the city wants to make it into a park and lessen its historical value. Its a hard call I mean most of the orphanage or the old Victorian buildings are long gone and being so close to the Capitol building makes you wonder if the politicians even want this place to stand. I do not think its an eye sore my son played at the gym he had a good time now that its gone what else is he going to do if I bring him here? I mean the ball hoops are bent, outdoor gym is gone, grass is growing through the tennis court cracks and slowly historical sites are being removed.

I have to say at night everything here is enhanced its a bit creepy walking into foyers of old cottages and down walkways so dark because the trees blotch out the stars. Compared to the day the night portion of our investigation was entirely different. With it being Xmas eve it was a nice touch to finish off our month of work in December as we try to tone it down before the end of the new year to spend time with family and friends. I cannot say that being the holidays enhanced the haunting's that take place here but its quite possible as with the holidays I am sure most of the kids felt shorted by not having a family or a Xmas tree to open gifts at the next morning.

It was a strange night all the way from the apparition to the cop and even the strange vocalizations that overshadowed all of Carson that night. Sometimes when you go out investigating you hope to find one thing and end up finding another. This would be our last investigation of the year and a good one. I guarantee our viewers are going to like our finale finisher allot of ghosts, cold spots, strange happenings and the shadow of night so that our viewers get a daytime and nighttime perspective.

An entity looms over cottage #3 verhy strange as it appears to be on the roof looking down at us!

Over a walkway appears to be possibly a little girl cant say for sure their is a smaller face above what appears to be a dark shaded little girls face with long hair. I could be wrong when we study these entities they are not always what they seem.

Upon studying this one might be able to see a ghostly dog maybe a german shephard but cannot say for sure. To the right of the dogs head appears to possible be two more faces one of possibly an older woman the other one of a child smiling with long hair. These things may be hard for you to see or maybe you do not know what to look for so rather we hope you can see what it is we are seeing with this mass of ectoplasm.

Above we have three different entities the first appears to be maybe a topless woman because you can see her busts and look at those eyes looking back at me. The second enhancements appear to be maybe a female or someone with long hair. The third entity appears to be an older man maybe with a beard or facial hair. Its hard to say who worked at the orphanage as staff and what they did. Then again how many lost their lives here due to sickness or just living out there years here.

Unknown entity cannot identify the face looks more like a skull flying towards us or staring at us rather!

Kind of a mean looking face with a straight edged mouth but a skull like face. As a matter in fact this looks more like a Jack O' Lantern truth be told but then again some entities do present themselves like this and were not sure why. It might be because death has its own form or transformation therefore if you die you might take on an appearance of what death may look like which is that of a skull.

Definite ghostly face here maybe an old woman staring back at me from what appears to be the orphanages cafeteria area.

A long haired woman again afterall you can make out her facial details and she is watching me.

I call this place the hangar so lets get into the faces found here: 1. Is a face peering down onto us 2. Possible a woman with a chiseled chin kind of facing towards us 3. Side portrait of a man with possibly sun glasses or glasses 4. A child with short hair on top maybe a little girl with a bun looking downwards at an angle 5. Side portrail of a man with a grin, large nose, big chin and maybe a mustache.

This was taken near the old gym one of the last remaining stone structures on site so yes its very old and historic. I cant say for sure this is an entity but when I seen what appeared to be a rams horn and possibly an arm I mirrored the entity so you could see the other half of what this entity may possible look like. You have to admit its very strange its as if its sitting on the lawn just staring back at me one must wonder!
