Our journey would start off down a rugged narrow series of dirt roads as we would make our way into the gateway of the Grouse Lakes Basin to the Lindsey Lake area where we would set up camp. Eventually we will set out backpacking up to two other Lindsey Lakes not on any trail but going primitive where we would make some discoveries of some deer legs with marrow sucked out of the bones, strange tracks, a yellow jacket nest, strange shiny rocks and even clothes. Ill take you below Fall Creek Peak and across two historical dams. Will push through brush, climb rocks and journey through parts of the Tahoe National Forest in search of Americas Great Ape "Sasquatch" then finish up having a great time back at camp at sunset where we would enjoy good food and fishing. We put quite a bit of time and effort into our research everything we find its because we worked for it.

Our day two series in this expedition would including fishing, rafting, backpacking out to Lake Culbertson, Lower and Upper Rock Lake as well. Ill also take you to the final Lindsey Lake its a bit small but you will see it which is not to far where we found more strange tracks and I had something thrown at me a stone it sounded like when it missed me hitting the ground. This journey will take you on a deeper trek into the Grouse Ridge Lake Basin. We have been on the edge of it when we were at Sawmill and Bowman Lake however these lakes reside below them both or rather ridge line. Really just a few lakes out of 47 to be more precise but we covered a good ten miles of backpacking in part two of this series. Although it may not seem like it we made sure we got into the heart of what Grouse Ridge is about. You will also see a bark shelter more then likely human made but I still get excited to come across them because only an experienced outdoors-man or local tribes really know how to build them using the nature your provided with around you. The lakes are all very beautiful including the meadow will journey through which normally would be green with flowers but we took this trek back in the Fall of 2016 before winters arrival. Just overall a great adventure finished off at sunset at camp with good food, craw-fishing and nightfall under the moon.

The third and last day of our journey would including a steep primitive hike up over a peak and down to Bullpen Lake which is more like a swamp or pond but no less VERY secluded. On that hike I seen some worn tracks did plenty of bushwhacking perhaps heard something big moving around but the real excitement is visiting this forgotten lake which tends to get forgotten by backpackers because of the accessibility and size. Ill get to camp before lunch where we will do some fishing, hike on the back side of the main Linsdey Lake where we see a bat during the day and a golf ball. Ill even take our viewers up on the dam to put the lake into perspective. Will finish off the video packing up camp, cooking some steaks and eventually adventuring on some back country roads. My GPS was out and I ended up getting turned around near Lindsey Lakes where I came out to this open meadow where we found an old homestead before dusk. Their is even a deer and giant hare we seen while journeying back here. Its hard to know if this homestead belonged to a miner, early rancher or lumberer that came to the area. But back in the day the Grouse Ridge area had a few mines, mining and lumbering camps. One of them was called Baltimore Town and you can hike there from Lindsey Lakes but nothing remains. But if you explore long enough out here your going to find little tidbits of history like the old dams that were built here to hold back the lakes so they could provide local towns with water in the region. The last day you will be taken on an adventure that goes primitive high above the basin all the way down narrow rocky roads finishing off at this homestead so no less a really cozy up close personal endeavor into the extensive exploring we do just with any research project.
