This discovery I made its fairly intriguing as my first thought may have been that its a Bigfoot Encampment. Now I am not saying that Bigfoot made it but based on some of our research in the area and finds we can tell this creature possibly has been here. In this documentary your going to see scientific proof all the way from the giants den to a scuffed up log with a rock to even a mutilation and a snare. The logs used were pounded deep into the ground their was also wood pillows, tracks and even a golf ball. Now we have had over twenty people claim they built it so spare me the charades someone is lying so with that in mind lets just have a little fun broadening our horizons.

Nothing of this magnitude has ever really been discovered in this region high above Nevada's capitol of Carson City. This encampment will blow your mind included are multiple clips, forensics work, evidence, photos and even music from our friend from Winters Thrall. Do you dare to enter the monsters lair this is not a bushwhackers or bark shelter made by the natives. It was fortified and designed to battle the wind chills as well as heavy snows of the high sierra that derive off of Lake Tahoe. This is a great area for human or a monster to hide as it comes with many deer, berries and even a few creeks to provide water.

Their is a Sasquatch in this video supposedly more then one which was cropped by a friend of mine named Tina. Although some of you want to dismiss this video the evidence speaks for itself keep an openmind and just remember we have other locations surrounding this canyon that support my research extensively. This is an area full of strange stories it resides in the Sierra Triangle and the natives for hundreds of years have many tales of Bigfoot, Tessie the lake monster and strange creatures called water babies or what I always theorized were UFOs which often made the natives sick. So really such a shelter is really not that far fetched or out of the ordinary or a creature like Bigfoot roaming the mountains in the Carson wilderness.

I know that some of you will call this a tee pee due to your inexperience just as you will not believe and were not asking you to. Were asking you to consider the open possibilities of what might be lurking considering last few years of research at Genoa Peak, Luther Canyon, Lake Tahoe, Spooner Lake, Hobart Reservoir, Ash Canyon, Jobs Peak, Wade Point, Slide Mountain, Cave Rock, Marlette Lake, Flume Trail, Washoe Valley, Slide Mountain and many other areas close by we have had experiences at. Now I know some of you think you know everything to know based on these lame paranormal monster shows where they are paid actors and set up a production crew right by the road. But we worked hard for this and to bring it to our viewers so take the information we have given you using it as a source to further education yourself about how Bigfoot sustains itself and some of these creatures natural behaviors.

We have encountered UFOs, Bigfoot and Creatures above Carson City therefore I can say with certainty these things exist in those mountains above the state capitol even if you chose to not believe it. My son and I came across a monster a few miles from this shelter one night so we know something lives in these mountains. I know some people are stuck on these cheesy Bigfoot shows but we are privately funded and I can assure you will tread where the angels dare not too. She shelter is really not the most major find on the expedition but its something we can branch off of just like any investigative group.

You have to understand that its okay to theorize and speculate that helps us compile more research but if you are rude then we will not work together. When I compile such works they are based on other sightings, strange disappearances and our own case work in the high sierras. We cant say who or what built the shelter but we can speculate and at least try to keep an openmind. That will allow us to do further research but to also bring other experts on board in the future on our team to continue doing what we do.

This clip is a compilation of our own expert opinions it does not mean you have to agree but show some love for the hard work we do and more can be found at the following link! I get NOTHING from posting videos other then I get to share my finds and these locations with you.

Our 2nd Expedition Of Kings Canyon Nevada - 6/3/15

As promised I would return to the Kings Canyon area of Nevada roughly a year from the date of our last expedition. My goal was to reexamine the strange massive shelter and bigfoot encampment we found but also to summit Carson Cities most prominent peaks.

This would be a very special adventure as I would take both of my kids and they seemed pretty excited to explore the area a little further. Honestly Kings Canyon is your gateway to adventure in the Carson City area. Its one of these places that once you delve into it its another world in itself and time slows down. Their are no cars or traffic and running into people once you begin your climb is next to none.

We would start our climb off not to far from C-Hill which the seniors did a class prank changing the CC to a giant 15 for graduation. They have been doing this for at least 20 years as far as what I know asking others about it but I think its pretty awesome. It must had took allot of effort for the seniors to go to the top then rearrange all the white rocks in the dark above Carson.

When we arrived at the canyon we were dropped off which is something we do time to time rather then drive in and park. Sometimes this has its advantages but not this time around as I ran into a major problem after the expedition and believe me I learned to prepare for anything when we go journeying. I was pretty upset my good camera was broke or not working it had some electrical issue. I just had gotten it back from the shop and they messed something up so it was a bit disheartening however I had other gear so in the end we still came out of here with some awesome pictures and media. It was to late to call off the expedition so I just had to deal!

When you get further back into the canyon you have allot of options such as you can hike up to a waterfall, Spooner Lake, Tahoe Rim or in the foothills which are magical as well. You have allot of options and their are trails. My goal is not to take trails here but to journey to places not allot of people traverse. I believe over the last few years of my research that Bigfoot comes over the sierra down into these Nevada Valleys right up to the edge of the forest as we proved that with our Jobs Peak expedition outside of Gardnerville.

I have to say that knowing how to get to the encampment made things allot easier as the kids and I made it up to there in a matter of no time at all. But its still not easy you have to cross the creek, climb through a meadow and then push through the forest. The terrain is steep its nearly impossible to see any scenery or peaks at times so its very easy to lose your way if you do not know where to go. I love this area because its a home away from home and allot of gems remain hidden above the city. I had no issue to find the encampment again but going here is rough I ended up falling into some poison ivy.

There is strange area long the hike I been so far keeping an eye out here because its very overgrown along this creek. Which in my opinion is not only good for track seeking but deer tend to drink from here which may attract a Bigfoot like creature. I found a seriously torn to shreds ripped apart deer back here. I cannot say if a mountain lion or bear decided to take this poor forest creature down but after studying it the bones all looked as if they been ripped limb from limb. The top part of the skull was laying next to the legs. It not uncommon to see dead animals on my journeys but some of them I come across seem to be mutilated or as if something broke open the bones to eat the marrow force fracturing them.

Eventually we did come up on the moonshine camp once again this time their was a water bottle filled with some moonshine. Last time their was a glass bottle and some other tools at the site. It appears that the camp has changed their is no longer a fire pit, benches, shovel or rake. The hill above it use to have bait traps most of them are now destroyed or gone then again most look like they have not been used in awhile. I believe that people are poaching here which is very sad because this is such a pristine beautiful place no reason to ever touch any of the nature here other then to observe and enjoy.

The boys and I pushed on we took hardly any breaks hell I did not even take off my backpack which has a ton of supplies in it. We really wanted to go out to the encampment to see what changes had came into play in the last year. On our way to it we seen groups of deer same place I photographed and filmed them last time I was here. Between the creeks and deer in the area its easy to understand why a Bigfoot like creature could reside back here.

We would eventually arrive at the encampment lets just say I was stunned when we had gotten here. The twine that was in the tree used to probably hang meat was now tied around the entire shelter. Their was a Xmas stocking laying inside the shelter all shredded to bits. The crystal rock sitting on the nearby log used in tree banging was still here believe it or not while the shelter itself was very scuffed up. Its obvious humans had been up here their was peoples garbage laying around.

Before I ever posted the encampment on our site or videos of it nobody cared about this place. Now everyone has an opinion on it or others in the area try to seek it out. Its not the hardest to find but you would have to really look for it. I seen only one human hiking away from it early in the morning so its like hmmm. Most people here stay on the trails trust me when I say this.

The Christmas stocking was intriguing to me because it looked like it was torn, shredded and threads were pulled out. People do not understand that these bigfoot like creatures are primates to a degree so yes they do collect and scavenge things. For all any of you know this creature took the decor off someone's ranch below the canyon then brought it up to the encampment to be used for something or just because they liked the bright reddish color.

Although the shelter is very strong the wood was discolored their was signs that the shelter was starting to become a victim of the elements. In the past year I have had 20 different people write me saying they built it. People are constantly lying because they cant be a part of something so they think they are going to be famous its ridiculous. What also is ridiculous is these Bigfoot shows and others trying to steal our research because they are hapless morons who cant open up their own case files into the paranormal so they depend on Lord Rick to do their work for them so they can line those pockets!!!

I wanted to check for any stool or mutilations however the deer bones are gone that were near the encampment so either something hid them or a person removed them. Like I said before people think that its okay to step on others research messing with these sites rather then leave them as is for further scientific study and observation. We had a nice break up here always felt watched other then that it was peaceful lots of deer, flowers and serenity. I am not sure why those bones are gone but they are and I probably should have taken them last time for further study. Animals do not take bones without meat on them therefore someone removed it and although close to the shelter they would be easy to miss in the brush.

We would leave the shelter my goal was to climb over the sierras to the Tahoe Rim and overlook the basin. However my main goal was to stand on top of the regions most prominent peaks which some refer to as Overlook Peak. This is because this triangular peak peers down into Carson City and is one of the tallest in the area. There is another overlook area also but that one has trails the one we were climbing did not. Along the way if you look south you can see all the snowy sierras its very very breathtaking.

The climb towards the peak was very strenuous and steep at times as we would keep climbing to higher elevations. Nothing is ever as it seems in the sierras even if you can see the crown of some peak over a hill your going to find out that it still might take hours to the top because you will have to traverse canyons, hillsides and work your away around rocks. I was shocked when I came up over a smaller peak on this plateau and this peak did not look any closer. The only difference is we were able to see it to its entirety as it sits nestled back behind other ridges making it a little obscured.

The boys and I were in for a rough ride we would have to push through a ton of red brush some of the harshest on the planet. I tried to walk between it but at times could not therefore it cut my legs up really bad. I know all about this brush as numerous times we were caught in it and I ended up getting gashes in my legs. By the time I pushed through a mile of it I had blood running down my legs of course not the kids they do not wear shorts hardly ever so it helps. The problem I have with red brush is not the cuts because my pain level is high so I do not give a crap about blood or cuts. However it causes your body to go into shock or shut down so cuts on the legs means muscle spasms, cramps and the inability to walk which could be detrimental to my safety while climbing or up on a peak.

At first I thought this was Snow Peak but its not although its nearby I made the mistake of assuming. However Snow Peak has a trail that goes to it this did not. This was so primitive that we never seen one sign of humans in the woods on the peak period! Their was no trash, shelters, camp sites or anything which means some of the terrain may not have had more then one or two humans traverse the terrain in a thousand years.

We would dip down into this lush canyon which split to the left up to Snow Peak which we could see through the woods was much further away then we thought and to our right where the overlook peak was peering through the tall trees. We took the right path dipping down into the canyon where we crossed this really pretty stream hidden from any human eyes period. Once we crossed the stream my son took us up through the woods were we came out below this volcanic crown full of rocks with lichen growing on them. I also seen these very odd trees that have a silverish chrome bark that gleams in the sun. Its so shiny and smooth you would think the tree was coated with chrome spray paint seriously!

The climb up to the peak or final half mile was extremely rugged with allot of loose volcanic rock. Its not very easy actually its quite steep and you can fall. Unfortunately I fell and my cell phone was broke so guess what? No way to call for a ride once we had gotten out of the canyon below. I was pretty upset lets just leave it at that because I had to order a new phone when I had gotten home and it still has not arrived.

Eventually we would reach the peak its amazing how when you climb to the top the peak narrows to just a matter of 20' at the summit. It looks allot different from Carson City or even standing on some of the other peaks near it. What appears to be a rocky solid crown is just a pile of boulders and loose rock to the very top. At the top were a few large rocks and boulders you could sit on which we found a little alcove where we could break at fueling up for the journey home.

The view from on top of this peak is amazing with many visible landmarks such as Slide Mountain, Mt. Rose, Snow Peak, Pine Nut Mountain Range, Minden and many other great sites. The view of Carson City is simply stellar one of the best your going to find. Behind the peak looking west was this huge canyon which if we wanted to head to the Tahoe Rim as well as Snow Peak we would have had to go all the way down then all the way back up over another ridge which could have taken three hours. We simply ran out of time the sun was going down and a storm was brewing. To make matters worst on Overlook were 40 to 50 mph winds which made things all the more difficult. You could see across the canyon the top of the Tahoe Rim it was only a couple hundred feet higher then this peak so we made it on foot very close and considering we never took a trail that is pretty good adventuring.

The kids and I decided to head down the north face of the mountain where we would just push through forest. I was pretty happy because I found 4 to 5 new wildflower species up here which I logged. Its odd because sometimes wildflowers may only grow in one area of the forest and you may never see those again. While other flowers may only bloom one week out of the entire year so maybe timing is everything when it comes to the nature of the sierras.

We actually found some overgrown animal trail not one human footprint or sign that anybody has used it in years. As a matter in fact a few times we lost the path had to retrace our steps. But eventually this came out on some old overgrown service road where we found some antenna and makeshift picnic bench. I also seen some pile of wood. Strangely prior to finding this not on any path but found some very old wood boards stacked in the forest. Maybe a hermit lived back here at one time or maybe its from the old lumbering camp days hard telling. But the boys and I took a long break here my son said its creepy back here I had to agree.

We would eventually come out on some forestry road which gave us really picturesque views of Kings Canyon. But also we were up above all the beautiful mansions and estates that grave the canyon floor. Some of those estates have ponds while others are owned by politicians. Some of the most beautiful homes in the state of Nevada. The scenery is so beautiful as we walked the road above all the rooftops slowly taking this road that meanders right into this very nice neighborhood. Besides the foothills within the canyon this time of year are very green and with Carson City back dropping it made the journey totally worthwhile.

We eventually came out right where we hiked in which I thought was some pretty good navigating considering we found this remote peak shrouded by national forest and managed to make our way out of the canyon nearly from the Tahoe Rim. Were talking miles and a couple thousand feet of elevation as well as loss. Its very tedious and it does require allot of work because its all primitive no trails or handouts. The wilderness back in here is unforgiving and even if you think your a top outdoorsman it will challenge you to the very end. Near the end of the journey we found a painted rock which was a grave marker maybe for a pet or someone put it there for a loved one.

I have a friend who lives in the canyon but while heading to her home we found this gentlemen who was doing some things around his estate asking to use his phone. He said I can do better and gave us a ride his name was Thomas. You do not find folks like that anymore but he was a pretty nice guy an eye doctor and an older gentlemen who told me I am sure you would do this for me so its the least I can do. He told me that lately Kings Canyon is having a rattle snake issue that his friend had to deal with three of them and to stay on the trails. Here I was hours ago climbing through thick brush and pushing through the wilderness. Its pretty obvious I was bleeding, muddy and all of us looked pretty exhausted.

When I arrived home we went out for a frosty and burgers how can you not celebrate? This is an honorable hike it puts us at a league of our own to be able to journey to the places we did. I was at least over a thousand feet above the shelter we found perhaps more and last year I thought to myself that we were far above Carson well wait till you see this second journeys photography as well as video footage. This was a stellar expedition with a return to the massive shelter, stellar views, hidden streams, lush forest and allot of wildlife. I am not sure if ill return here next year generally with all the cases we have lined up its hard to do any given place more then once or twice since we have to cover a vast area in this mountain range which could take many lifetimes something none of us really have.

I am not sure what made the shelter or who its possible humans made it then Bigfoot came along later to use it in the cooler months. Its also possible that Bigfoot made it and now humans found it thus invading the site because we as humans are the invasive species on Earth. No less either outcome intrigues me and that is why we came back here to purposely follow up on this location. Next year the shelter may not even exist as it appears the forestry continues to put in and make way for new trails in the canyon. Just as I found a new wooden footbridge that went over one of the creeks. Eventually creatures like Bigfoot get pushed further back into the wilderness so for now all we can do is soak it all up!
Peace,
Lord Rick
PGS Founder
This grim scene is that of a deer which the skull was ripped in half and only a pile of bones remains. Not all the bones were at this site which means possibly other animals dragged them off or some other kind of scenario such as perhaps a hunter taking the carcass and leaving behind the legs. But its hard to tell since I found some ribs scattered across the ground. I cannot say for sure this was a Bigfoot kill although upon studying it you can see that every single bone has been displaced or removed. Allot of times with kills in the sierras the entire skeleton is in tact to a given degree however this is not the case. If you look at the photo to the right above you can clearly see a mandible with still the teeth attached to that jaw bone. Its hard to know what deer bigfoot take down however when you see a lack of gnaw or teeth marks it does rise suspicious. Sure you have coyotes who probably scavenged the remnants but if they did that means they also took with them most of the deer carcass since the mutilated deer was found very minimally in tact.

Also pay close attention to the photo below of the deer. Their are actually five in total however two of them are obscured by a tree. The deer population in Kings Canyon is rather high most of them reside in the canyons along the creeks that flow through them. Often others ask me what does these Bigfoot like creatures eat? Simple they can digest foliage, nuts, berries and yes on occasion hunt down a deer which definitely could keep a creature like Sasquatch alive. Unfortunately poachers are going in and taking advantage of the healthy deer population. Which in turn upsets the ecosystem since bear, coyote and cougars need to sustain themselves. Most of the time herds of deer can be found close to the shelter or encampment. So whoever built it whether that is Bigfoot or humans I am beginning to form the theory that its main purpose is that of a hunting camp to take advantage of the deer grazing in the forest surrounding it. In addition to seeing these living active deer many of them do not make it and become victims of prey.

One year later not allot has changed! Well it depends on how you perceive it from our first expedition to our second one which went from a span of May 2014 till May of 2015! To most people they might look at both expeditions and come to a conclusion it looks no different. But what I had observed during my second expedition here was that the string which was all tangled in a tree was now tied around the entire shelter rather then being used to hang the pine cone we found.  Some of the bark around the NW side of the shelter was removed this was put there perhaps to shield anyone or anything sleeping from the brisk Lake Tahoe winds that barrel down the canyon. I found two logs or support beams laying on the ground as if someone took them down or was trying to dismantle the shelter. The deer bone we found that had a force fracture break was missing from the site. Not sure who collects bones or why it was taken but I am not a bit let down because I should have taken the bone for further study. Their also was a Christmas Stocking laying on its side in the shelter which was torn to shreds. What I want people to understand is that Bigfoot is a primate like creature stockings, golf balls, rocks, twigs, string etc are all something for this creature to keep itself occupied with. Although we can only speculate this creature plays more then likely its young are learning therefore may take an interest in such items while being adolescents. I know a million folks are going to email me and tell me they put this stocking up here. Just as a 100 people wrote me and said they built this wooden shelter. So let me at least throw something out there for our viewers! Below Kings Canyon is Carson City therefore you have houses in the canyon, forest and built right up in the foothills for a few miles. It is so easy for a bigfoot like creature in the winter months when less humans are out and it gets dark early for it to come down to someone's backyard thus taking an object of its interest. Maybe the stocking blew in a wind storm and the creature made use of it to gather nuts or pine nuts. Even if humans built this its Bigfoot I believe that has utilized this encampment in the cooler months. This creature has everything it needs a creek nearby, forest to remain elusive, healthy deer population meaning sometimes as many as 12 deer grazing around the shelter and of course this structure you see in the photos. Bigfoot is more of a scavenger then a hunter although its capable of both just like humans. From where this shelter is you get good views of the region so if someone is coming it gives you ample time to hide. The rock which appeared to be used for tree banging was still found at the site that was about the only thing that changed. One of the wood pills as I call them was also gone perhaps a camper burned it but its hard to know for sure since campfires are not allowed here due to the drought.

The first photo to the upper left is of Washoe Lake and Valley which is just through the pass north of Carson City. Yeah its not paranormal but you can clearly see within 12 months an entire lake has vanished. This is because the area has been drought stricken for a few years therefore due to the lack of snow in the winters the lake is not being replenished therefore it dried up and grass is returning to the lake bed. This was a MASSIVE of lake at one time but in the last twenty years it kept decreasing in its shoreline. Sadly global warming is to blame even if we deny that it exist when hundreds of reservoirs, creeks, rivers and lakes are drying up like this one in the west it does raise a bit of concern. At one time over a 100 years ago before they logged the Washoe area bigfoot like creatures were coming down to this lake and some of them may have been sustaining themselves in the area till the encroachment of man chased them up to higher elevations. With the lack of water I can almost promise all of you that we will be seeing allot less of Bigfoot and finding any remnants left behind by this creature such as tracks. However the shelter up above Kings Canyon is a prime place to examine because a creature like this during a storm may use it temporarily thus leaving behind trace evidence such as a deer mutilation, rock or something else it gathered to keep itself occupied from the homes at the bottom of the sierras.  To the lower left is a photo taken of my dog Rascal and I on the south shore of the lake. You can clearly see that their is actually water in this valley today not so much its just a vast brown expanse and it took a mere four years for this lake to completely vanish. Good news is as of 2016 water levels have risen but its not enough but the lake may be making a slow comeback we shall await!
At first glance you may think hey Lord Rick found more bigfoot dens or shelter but the answer is the opposite. The US Forestry in the region cuts or gathered allot of the dead trees then they make them into large piles so they can do a controlled burn. This reduces forest fires above Carson City and helps protect some of the homes found here! If you hike into Kings Canyon once you begin in the foothills you can see signs of previous forest fires one of them killed a firefighter in his helicopter many years ago. I want to thank the Toiyabe National Forest Rangers for a job well done gathering and piling this amount of wood is not an easy task but in the end it is saving lives and protecting nature in the area.

Some chemtrails over the forest we had only begin to hike above the foothills into the national forest when we spotted them. Again not paranormal but quite possible that the government is spraying to try to slow global warming. I have interviewed others about this and more then often we hear similar theories.

More then likely someones pet who was called "Pulga" RIP! We kind of found this accidentally then again as investigators we pay attention to everything and sometimes we tread where others are not found. I am almost sure that besides a few pets in Kings Canyon back in the pioneer days people were buried here as well.

By the time we arrived up at Overlook Point/Peak a massive wind storm with dark clouds was rolling in. It begin to sprinkle but rain never transpired as during time we were still in a drought. But words of advice for anyone who braves this wilderness just know storms come in very fast here off of Lake Tahoe. They barrel in with fog, hail, winds, snow and rain just not as frequent as years ago. No less being up at around 9k we had very little to protect us from the cold air and high winds. So after seeing the weather take a turn for the worst we made our descent straight down through the forest and back into the lower part of the canyon. Imagine climbing the peak looking over the rocks only to see this massive cloud heading right towards you!

This is just living proof that blood, sweat and tears goes into these expeditions. When I came home and had gotten cleaned up I took photos of my legs from our second expedition in Kings Canyon. This does not include all the other injuries such as a hurt ankle. Climbing the Nevadan side of the Sierras is brutal especially when your in a lush forest and have no choice but to push through red brush. Other kinds of foliage to are very sharp and when you try to get through it your skin gets cut up like butter. You can reduce the cuts by wearing pants however on this expedition it was going to be in the 90's so I went with my cargo shorts. I ended up not only tearing my legs up but my new shirt my girlfriend had bought me for my birthday and I broke my cell phone.  In addition to this lets not forget the poison oak I fell onto and losing my ring while rock climbing. These trips cost us more in ways then one so when our members ask why donate? Simple your donations allow us to cut some cost when things like this happen such as to buy ointments for my wounds, buy better gear to cut down on being shredded as bad, cover our travel and website cost. We are batting for the paranormal community these are sacrifices we make the work we do is dangerous. You have to deal with cliffs, wild animals, crazy people who might live in the forest and the paranormal. No regrets here but ill tell you something and that is were dedicated as well as in it for the long run. Being shredded above Carson City was not fun but we were journeying through the foliage to get to where we had to go no trails and no easy way through it. Even if you try not to get cut the thorn and red brush grows so close together you will not escape unscathed trust me! You will NEVER see anything like this on Finding Bigfoot or some fake paranormal show. The reality is of what we do here at PGS requires real rugged work to get to the locations we want to get to in order to conduct our research. It is not all peaches and roses allot of risk involved with chasing the paranormal deep in the Nevadan wilderness! You will make it or it will break you just remember this advice before you head up into a canyon where some met their demise!

Off to your left you can see C-Hill and to the right of it is Kings Canyon. Although not paranormal the one thing you can see differently that has changed since our last expedition is the 15 on the hillside which prior to this it was a giant C which stands for Carson City. Every year around graduation time the students go up to the top of C-Hill later at night and rearrange the stones to the according year. Since the students graduated in 2015 they put a 15 on the hillside moving all the large white rocks into place. Although I thought this was a prank when I seen it for my first time I did find this out after our expedition by asking others about it. Below is a photo of C-Hill taken in 2014 from our first expedition into the canyon and hiking the to the top of C-Hill.

Our second expedition would include a revisitation of the Bigfoot encampment site. Now I am not saying Bigfoot built it but its still a very strange area .I believe that Sasquatch roams the sierras above Gardnerville, Genoa, Minden, Reno, Washoe and Carson City. Not allot has changed at the encampment only this time the twine that was in the tree was now found wrapped around the shelter. Their was also a torn up Xmas stocking at the site and a few of the shelters logs were found laying inside. If you pay close attention you will see a healthy deer population. Their are always deer found here and a creek not to far away. One could say that if a Bigfoot like creature utilized this encampment it definitely would have a plentiful supply of water as well as food. The force fractured bones we found our first expedition were missing from the site. Although we did not find any extreme paranormal the site is very cryptic. Its a good area for us to break before we begin our ascension to the top of overlook peak which sits back up near the Tahoe Rim. One must wonder at one time if Bigfoot utilized the site and perhaps used the rock on a log to tree bang. We may never have the answers we seek however return to the encampment site for further study. If we make our final return to the site we will camp at the shelter itself. Each time we visit the site we learn a little more about it and often wonder what creatures may lurk within the forest around it just watching perhaps even waiting for us to pass through.
