At one time Giant Sequoias were found all over the world today they are limited to the state of California particularly the Calaveras Big Trees Groves. The trees are said to reach heights of 300' with nearly a 33' in diameter. This ancient forest was home for many years to the Miwok's and other indigenous people of the sierras. All that would change when a man by the name of Augustus Dowd discovered these trees which gave it world recognition. In the 1930s the region was set aside as a state park and today it has also been noted for its Bigfoot sightings.
They call this discovery stump further on into the video! Augustus T. Dowd seen this massive tree back in the mid 1800s. Later on it would be chopped down and the tree would be transported across the country to be shown off. Sadly it was one of the largest trees in the Big Trees forest and nothing perhaps will ever compare to it considering it was at the time over 3,000 years old!

The upper trail allows a fairly nice view of the giant trees overlooking them below. Along the trail dogwoods grace the trail and many large fallen trees which are burnt. I heard the burning is natural caused by the large pine cones heating up its truly hard to say. The forest is very overgrown its like being in some jungle which would make the ideal location for something cryptid to hide in.
Some of the fallen trees are so large that they become hollowed out creating tunnels such as with the father of the forest which my son is inside. This is kind of a comical video rather then an educational one but it does show how easily a person can walk through these tunnels today and trees.

Everybody loves blondes well at least I do which is a pretty good distraction aside from this massive tree which you can walk through. I sort of came out of the tree while filming and she was taking a photo I got her to snicker and then we moved on as my son was telling me I can have the old lady while he takes the younger one. The adventure of father and son will never end it doesn't matter where we are or what we are doing!
This video is a little rugged as we try to climb up onto some of the larger logs which are up to 15' in height. The piles of trees give off a fairly challenging obstacle course as we veer off the path looking for any strange evidence that something cryptid may have been here. I jump across a giant gap barely made it and thought to myself I better watch out for that tree or its my nads on the line!

The groves are mystical in nature as they are as old as the Pyramids. We want you to take a stroll with us as we tour this ancient grove of some of the oldest and largest trees in the entire world. Before Jesus even walked this earth these trees were already standing so its meant to be cherished and preserved in every way.
The Stanislaus River runs through the Big Trees forest unfortunately their are not as many large trees found around it but rather a much thicker region of foliage particularly Ponderosa Pines. My second phase of our first expedition would revolve along the sandy shores of the river in hopes that I could discover any strange Bigfoot tracks. Little did I know that I would make a discovery so much more threatening minutes later after shooting this video.

In all my years of paranormal research have I ever came so close with being under such an attack such as this. We were in thick foliage along the river when rocks began to be thrown at us one of them grazed my shirt. This is a 17 minute long video but the highlight of it is at the 7:00 minute mark where a stone hits a pool of water nearly missing me drenching my leg. Eventually as the clip goes on we hear more rocks being thrown so we escape into the forest where a branch gets thrown at a tree trunk. Their were no humans in the region at the time and I theorized that this aggression may have been caused by a territorial Sasquatch in the area. It was becoming very dangerous so we had to leave the area. Rock throwing is quite common amongst primates and in Bigfoot attacks we were lucky to get out of this area unscathed however we were never able to find the perpetrator. For those that tell you paranormal work isn't dangerous think again as the hunter can become the prey at any given time!
