The Paranormal & Ghost Society

This is rather more of a write up then it is an investigation report considering I have visited Lake Tahoe multiple times. I have not had a large window of opportunity to investigate its lake Monster but I did dabble a bit with some Bigfoot research surrounding the lake.

My first visit to Lake Tahoe was in the beginning of March of 2011 it was allot of fun my son was sledding in almost the spring the first time he had seen snow in years.

I am not even sure the feeling I had in my heart to step on out into the sierras it was a feeling of perhaps relief. You see back in 2008 I went from being homeless to living with my in laws. Which eventually I got a divorce and my ex wife tried to keep me in the Las Vegas area. So you can imagine being the outdoors guy that I am how good it felt to walk on the pristine shores of Lake Tahoe.

My first time at the lake I drove all the way around it and Emerald Bay so far is my favorite area of the lake. That bay has an island with a tea house and of course the mighty Vikingholmes Castle. I did not hike down to the castle but my sons and I adored the overlooks here. I was kind of shocked to see walls as high as 12' of snow and believe me when it snows up here it snows which is in the winter months almost daily.

The houses up in Tahoe are amazing most built out of wood with that log cabin feeling but on a much larger scale. South Lake Tahoe has many shops and casinos. I am excited because in a way you get the best of both here mother nature and a little of Vegas. Not to mention that the casinos have some pretty awesome bands which a concert in Tahoe might be fun.

I looked at possibly getting tickets for the Tahoe Queen or Dixie. They are older boats that cruise Lake Tahoe it might be nice to have dinner while looking in my binos for Tessie.

Tammy and I visited one of the beaches here walking out onto a pier the water was crystal clear and the mountains all were covered in snow. My kids ran around the snow while at another location my son crawled through a tunnel between some rocks filled with snow.

Being up here the air is so fresh their are no impurities the air is clean the water is crisp and the people up here are really nice. I cannot wait to hit the slopes do a little snowboarding and sledding with the kids.

As far as the paranormal aspect goes after a few visits here I am ready to do some major hiking, bike riding and cryptid hunting. This is an area full of lake monster and bigfoot sightings so in theory you get the best of both worlds here. Its also a lake said to contain some big ass fish so perhaps a little trout fishing might be spent monster hunting, drinking some brews and enjoying what the lake has to offer.

There are other parts of Tahoe that will be considered separate explorations such as Cave Rock for example and other hiking areas that are further away from the lake. Its a large vast area so we have our work cut out for us the next few years in the region.

One thing that captured my eye was how blue the water is which makes it easier to spot wildlife on the water. Of course I can see why others see humps in the water as many dark rocks just pear above the shortline giving off the effect that something is moving amongst the waves. I know I was fooled at first but realized that the humps I seen were some rocks a couple hundred feet offshore.

We have allot to look forward to considering the fact that I live minutes from Tahoe so for me now its a part of my life. I hear allot of stories from others and its just overall a great lake to hike around at.

I went to the North Beach stood out on some rocks way out onto the lake that was pretty cool. I was however thinking to myself that if I were to fall in id be up frozen in seconds. Tahoe is a very cold lake and in a way my son he loves to swim in it but I think he is nuts. Hell the water in the summers is like ice yet the beaches are packed....girls are in their bikinis....people are jet skiing and parasailing. Its just overall a place with allot of energy and beauty.

The photos you are seeing as of recent I captured on some mild hikes to build a case file for the area. When I build case files I will generally visiting it a few times capturing video and photos. Then as time goes on will take our case to much larger scaled depths for example diving in the lake or taking a boat out onto the water.

I walked to a guy who owns a boat he told me to dock your boat here is a couple thousand a month it isn't as cheap as other place but then again Tahoe is pretty ritzy. You have millions of people visiting Tahoe just for the winter sports alone then the other half enjoy the casino life on the lake.

Despite the fact that over a century ago loggers cut down most of the trees the forest here is fairly thick and some of the trees are as wide as your vehicles. Although their are many alpine lakes in the world Tahoe is one of the biggest.

Everytime I come up over the mountain and see Tahoe I can feel excitement I am not sure if its the thought of seeing something or the fact that I am living in one of the most beautiful parts of the world which is fact.

I enjoyed photographing wild life and I hiked over at Emerald Bay briefly during my first trip. My second one was spent in other parts of Tahoe fishing or hiking to destinations that will also be listed on my site.'

My first couple trips to Tahoe will always be memorable even my kids who are a sucker for outdoors thought this was the coolest place. I took them down many of the residential streets around Tahoe so they could see the mountains of snow meanwhile they have this one port that has a really nice restaurant on the water. They also have boat rentals of all kinds and a gallery that has a photo that looks like Tammy which the kids and I tease her about haha.

Tahoe is a world of its own but it has everything all the way from brand name stores to beautiful 10 bedroom estates for rent. I would love to rent an estate if others wish to go in on it with me then we can bbq....boat....hike and paranormal explore it could be fun. I would need about 8 other people to go in on a boat and estate for rent let me know so we can make arrangements.

I am looking forward to return trips most of my time so far in Tahoe has been spent doing scenic drives. Ill get out walk on the beach or visit some of the shops. But I really look forward to when we do some in depth explorations in search of the stranger myths that surround this place. I have had allot of fun so far in Tahoe toking...drinking milk shakes on the water.....photographing the water. Who knows what else ill experience or see but only great things can come from our team being based in this region!
