Subj: [ParanormalBuffalo] Other Report Of The Grain Elevators..... Date: 2/9/03 1:02:50 PM Eastern Standard Time From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com Reply-to: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com The grain elevators last night near the Aquarama proved to be a very worthwhile trip to check out. Pete and I entered them around midnight. We walked all around them and to be honest with you I cannot even describe the size of these monolithic structures. You got buildings attached to the grain elevators and buildings way up on top of them to. Near these grain elevators we ventured into there are about 4 others like this within a mile or 2 away some 3 times the size of the ones I went in last night and some very dangerous and collapsing. However we managed to get in now keep in mind that grain elevators were a booming business over 50 years ago this one has been closed for over 40 years. As we stepped in both Pete and I got that feeling like get out you don't belong here. Last time we stepped in there we pretty much got in and out this time we spent alot more time taking photos and having a look around. We started off by looking into the machine room with its large cogs a very rusted stairwell going up which we did not even manage to go up. Then we the further we went the more slipper the ice got and we did notice it was snowing inside. We explored 2 more rooms dead end ones alot of the old supplies rusted and left behind remnants of the past. Those rooms seemed to bother me a little almost like we had something in the room or behind us perhaps trapping us in just an overwhelming feeling. We then made our way to back noticing dozens of pillars through out them. What was really neat is being able to look up the silos itself when shining your flash light. Then we made our way back getting lost in dozens of boats being stored there. About half way back we heard a voice i could not make it out but it sounded like it shouted at us and it sounded close by we froze. To the left of us there was a plastic sheet of wrap something you would cover your motor on your boat with. That started to violently shake. I know the winds outside on the lake were 30-40 mph so its possibly that an air current made its way inside. But the whole time we were there this did not occur and that was odd since the wind was constant on lake Erie. This is right after we heard the voice keep in mind. After it stopped it sounded like something stepped down near the plastic wrapping it was sort of a cracking sound. Keep in mind a sheet of covers the flooring inside these grain elevators and when we walked on it there was a crack every time. So i definitely then knew something was there with us. We took a few photos as we made our way out Pete and I pretty much stuck with our digitals for this since the whole place is made of concrete. When we got home I looked at his photos and one of his last ones has the face of a man you can see the ear, mouth, eye and he seems to be bald. I did look at my photos as well and I seem to have a variety of different apparitions in them some photos came out great some did not but from what I can see is no matter what area I went to I caught something there most of them look pretty pissed or lost. Keep in mind rumor has it that before boats would be stored here they were dumping grounds for murder victims, plus I am sure workers fell and had accidents over the years in them. All in all it was a interesting night. The only thing that was a low point was my cheeks and ears freezing as we walked to the grain elevators itself right near the lake. Pete and I found some more grain elevators we will check out in near future also a abandoned restaurant haunted by a civil war ghost which we will look into next week. We did take a ride by the newly parked ship docked by general mills this one will be a tough one to get into since its owned by them and open 24 hours a day but all good things come in time. peace Rick The photos below are all of ghostly faces and figures some are hard to see unless you study them for a little bit. You will see eyes, noses, mouths on most of them. In 2 of the photos in different places I caught the same faces.
Pete also took a photo of a mans face i will put that up sometime next
week state tuned. |
