Every year near Halloween The Paranormal & Ghost Society tours some of the most haunted spine tingling locations that only most ghosthunters would ever dream about. To me American Flats is more then just an empty shell it is a place with history, art work and many ghost. The activity within this location is beyond normal levels this is why I chose our final investigation of it near Halloween.
On this investigation we would have Tammy, Catherine, Emily, Tim and Kyle. I would also meet another group of people who would come along for about an hour so we were booked for this investigation. This is my first investigation in years we had this many volunteers it is nice to see our group bloom since we have relocated.
My first two explorations were very unique at the Flats my first one was a day exploration where I met tons of hikers doing what I was doing which was having a looking around. My second adventure we realized the three major haunted locations within the flats which my third would elaborate more on those areas.
We would use a variety of equipment here including setting up motion detectors and other forms of ghost hunting. My night would be long as some of you know Nevada Day is a major holiday in this state so earlier I was at the parade watching air force jets fly over all the way to later on climbing old concrete ruins of one of the largest ore processing mills in the United States.
My goal at the Flats at least for me was to capture on video proof that the paranormal is well alive at the Flats and secondly to record audio from our investigation. Last time I was here I recorded 4 hours of audio then someone robbed me and I lost all our EVP's this time around I wasn't going to let it happen as for me all I need is one solid EVP to prove that a location has something lurking of the unseen.
Tammy and I would meet up with a new friend his name is Kyle at the Carson Lanes. It sure was interesting to see all sorts of drunk people singing oldies at Karaoke while trying to talk about the paranormal. I never seen the winners lounge like this all decorated and people running around dressed as nurses.
Kyle turned out to be a really great asset to the group he reminded me of allot of my friends back east just a good guy with a great sense of humor who loves to adventure. Finding people who want to adventure is rare nowadays most folks are often to scared to come on out especially when your new to the group and not knowing what to expect. But I look forward to having him work with us he is pretty well rounded and will be a great fit for this team.
After hanging out at the Carson Retail Center and chilling out we went to Catherine's house where we met up with Emily and Tim. I had went into the bathroom put some black face paint on as some of you know during October I almost dress up all month long for Halloween on our investigations. Its kind of cool that others on the team show an interest in some of our traditions to this is what makes us such a unique group is that we can get the job done and still all have a great time.
We would head on out later on at night driving down the series of maze like dirt roads that would take us out to the Flats. The moon was barely visible and everyone could sense the thrills that awaited us from within. I give to you "The Final"
American Flats
Investigation 3 "The Final"
Phase 1
When we arrived at the entrance I noticed that new fencing was installed blocking the road on in so that you couldn't drive right up into the Flats. There was a gate you could enter and now they posted signs which allow you to be there but not after dark. I was kind of happy they at least allow people here but night or day it really doesn't matter it doesn't change the fact that this is an abandoned building and perhaps its ghost might save it from being demolished.
We walked the road as there would be two phases to the investigation. The first phase would be taking everyone on a tour of the sorts so that they could get familiar with the buildings. The second would be splitting the team up on two way radios and conducting two different types of investigations. My plan was very successful and ill explain why later.
We would walk the road the air was becoming heavy and cool. Our first location we would stop at would be a building which had a series of nooses hanging from the ceiling. I conducted a video interview with everyone prior to entering the flats on a deeper level.
Kyle and I took the stairwell where we would go onto the top of this building with the portal. I would meet the team back around on the backside as this building was built into the hillside.
Upon traversing further up the road there was a dumpster and a giant white truck parked out front. It looked like clean up began here or maybe they were going to be demolishing this site hard to say. Generally that's not a good sign to see it usually means hey were going to be flattening this place.
I would take the team to the main building first as its one of the most majestic sites to see at the Flats. Then secondly the series of tunnels which can be found hidden amongst the different buildings. I took a team photo of everyone on the investigation it will be that memory we all can build off of.
I was running a recorder the whole time and doing allot of the filming. The EMF detector was going off like crazy never has it ever gone off in the main building. Something was out and about it knew we were there. We hit EMF readings of 8 for as long as 2 to 3 minutes at a time trust me that is not normal I been doing this work for years a spike or two sure but a solid reading for minutes at a time is insane.
I had everyone go off and explore the main building at their leisure basically its just an empty shell. I didn't take anyone down into the tunnels under the main building that would be a phase two excursion later on when things settled on down.
From the main building Tim noticed various headlights on the roads coming up to where we were parked. It would seem we were not alone however both vehicles ended up turning around. Later on at third vehicle would show on up and you could see a flashlight moving around. It was obvious with it being so close to Halloween all night long we would be running into other explorers which is very common here.
I would take the team into the building with various water pools its also the building with a small room that I like to call the demon room. There is an entity there that makes even the devil look small I know this because I been working with this thing for a long time and pretty much can get it to do what I want almost upon command. It seems to like the attention that I give it and as the night went on it would grow in strength as to where I could film it in action good stuff trust me.
In one of the halls I found some giant rat defecation earlier in the year I only found mouse shit. So it was apparent that the Flats also have giant rats and I knew we would eventually run into one. The rats out here in these parts get bigger then the ones in NYC trust me I seen one at a mill up the road bigger then my cat one night perched staring at me eye to eye.
Tammy mentioned to me but not the team later on that night that she had looked up near the stairwell going to the second level above the room with the demon graffiti. She had caught something ghostly with brown hair looking down at us from one of the holes in the ceiling. When it realized she could see it whatever it was stepped back real quick. We were not alone and Emily I know was able to fixate on energy being present here as well. I was also told by someone at the flats that this building someone died in and its possible the water pools are very deep if you fall in them it could spell trouble for someone.
The room with the tunnel that was collapsed that I believe was the old rail tunnel that led up into Gold Hill wasn't very active as last time either was the room with the demonic graffiti. Although Tammy seen something looking down at us the EMF was only spiking occasionally. However I had theorized there was either to many of us or the boy was not around. I call the entity the boy because the room is its lair however when it leaves it is a pretty empty area. He would return later in the night and things would become very eerie later on in the investigation. I would come to set up a motion detector in this room which btw went off when I walked out of the room so I had to reset it again this time however it stuck as I faced it at an angle so that it would cover almost the entire room if anything crossed its inferred beam.
We would leave the building heading to a third area further below the building with the water pools. This area is the second most haunted part of the Flats. Its just a hole in the wall into this dark room with these rusty pipes. We would make our way through the tall sage brush and ruins to get to this place. I was amazed at how overgrown the Flats were hell in some of the buildings you had brush growing through the concrete cracks. The place had the feeling that anything could lurk from within the shadows. I also noticed allot of new graffiti and a new dead end tunnel system exposed due to a hole in one of the walls as if someone is searching for something here.
The building we entered had a 3 foot ledge everyone climbed in and the guys helped the girls get on up into this room. This is the room with the ghost on the wall not very exciting in this area but I wanted to show our team the building. When we walked around and entered I followed Tammy into the hole in the wall where we did take a few readouts nothing to serious. However I will say that after awhile I had Tammy stop taking readings because after 5 or 6 times of the detector going off for minutes there was no further reason to confirm that this place has energy. There is no electric lines our gear doesn't set it off either as everything we operate has very low energy just to clarify this.
This building was cleaned up no more burnt logs or litter just two piles of cans of spray paint. I also climbed the ladder again in the room leading to the roof in my costume this time around lol. I am sure everyone got a kick out of that one its a tradition I do at the flats. They have this ladder with bent prongs its pretty high up and I always go to the top give the peace sign then come down. I am still alive and here so at least I know that the entities at the Flats do not want to push me over the edge just yet lol.
We left the building where from the other Flats entrance behind the main building huge groups of kids were exploring the place. I counted 5 women and like 4 guys go down a stairwell across from the building we were at. I shouted to them I am the Lord so smoke me out with some weed lol seriously. I didn't get a response but it was all good fun. I have never met anyone bad at the Flats most of the crowd that hangs here is older teens hell I got teenage kids so it didn't bother me they were exploring the place afterall it was close to Halloween. My only concern was if they found my motion detector it might cause them to run and panic getting hurt.
Kyle and I also noticed a second group of people walking around the main building,. We actually went up to them they asked what we were doing Kyle told them we are hunting. That is when I gave them one of my business cards and we talked about the haunting's with them for awhile. There were three teenage girls and a guy they were in pajamas....had one flashlight if that and the girls told me it was there first time there. They asked if they could hang out for a bit with me so I told them id take them with us show them around a little bit its just safer that way. I didn't want to see anyone get hurt I know this place well all the holes...weak areas etc
They were really nice they pulled out there pipe smoking Kyle and I out with some 420 you do not find to many people who are like that. I am glad they were not to creeped out by my cape and tall hat I was wearing. Like I said allot of the people who explore this place are generally good kids and they take a huge interest in the work we do at the Flats. After toking one on up I took them briefly down into the basement of the main building and through a tunnel. We would crawl down and through a hole where it came down onto a dirt trail along this high wall.
We would follow the wall where it dropped down onto other buildings with holes in the ceiling. We had to avoid them not all though because some of the holes were not very deep that led down into the tunnel system. I would take the party I had with me through a couple of the easier tunnels I have however explored on investigation two some tunnels very few ever get to see if your into crawling and that sort of thing lol.
I did take off for awhile on my own where I stood on the edge of one of the buildings looking down into the brush. I heard something moving around it was big I felt watched I know something was out there. I seen or at least thought what I seen is an apparition move from right to left of a man hunched over trying to hide from me it wasn't human that I do know. Everyone was further behind me I kind of went down into this hole and down this tunnel to investigate it myself that is when I ended up 15' below everyone and looked up seeing everyone above me up on another building.
Kyle followed me down the tunnel where we visited this area with over 50 columns all surrounded by high brush making it pitch black down here. This area of the Flats has some good activity I remember last time my motion detector going off here on investigation 2. This time around I found some creepy poorly done graffiti on the ground of some evil looking man or demonic creature. It had kind of an evil or mad looking face.
At that point we walked to our right that is when I turned around and seen a piece of rebar moving up and down on its own. I quickly grabbed the camera to film this. At first Kyle thought he stepped on it moving it but I know for sure that he didn't only because he was standing with me the entire time as I photographed the graffiti and walked to the right. I am not sure why it moved or if something caused it to move but it was violently fluctuating up and down for over a minute straight.
Kyle and I would make our way out of here the team was above us exploring the buildings that are built in the hillside. We had to figure a way over the barbed wire fence on my way through the wetlands we heard frogs and a piece of rebar stabbed right through my sneaker missing my toes by millimeters it was a close call and now I have two giant holes in my shoes grrr I love them sneakers. Hell I climbed the cliffs of Mount Raymond in those shoes boy ill miss them lol well not really ill still wear them but they wont be the same again that is for sure. Kyle and I laughed about the incident he actually lifted my foot off the rebar as it went through my shoe.
When we made our way over the fence it wasn't no easy feat there was no going under you had to go over balancing yourself on the wire it was pretty advanced stuff lucky for me I am pretty well balanced except when walking on my own two feet. Climbing however that is my forte so we made our way over walking the dark road. We made our way back to the truck and jeep where eventually the team caught up with us. I am sure they will have some of there own stories to share with our viewers later on.
We had a nice half hour break I bought doughnuts for everyone some of us warmed on up the temp was dropping down to the 20's so it was a cool night. I looked over the mountain seen an awesome meteor leave a long fiery trail of sparkles as it disappeared behind the shadowy hills. Everyone seemed to enjoy the doughnuts I have to admit I did have the munchies so even I ate a couple of them lol.
The people we met earlier while exploring also met us back at the truck. They came in on a four wheeler and I must admit I never seen four people ride on one of those but they did it. I was a bit worried about them as the road is very treacherous no helmets isn't safe but one of the girls was riding on the front of it so yeah one bump its over out there. They said there goodbyes to us and I thanked them for smoking me out it was a really great night so far. The guy in there party told me a few stories about the place as well so definitely good hearing other peoples stories about the Flats just awesome.
We would set off that is when phase two of the investigation would begin where the girls would have there own unit and us guys would have our own.
Phase 2
We would all head on out our own ways as the dirt road split off to different areas of the flats. I drank an ice cold beer as I walked around a tradition we do at the flats. Generally bring a 6 pack drink some brews and go bust a few ghost, This place is never a let down so I was interested in seeing if the girls would experience different activity then us. It turns on out that allot of the activity we experienced seemed to have followed us around the remainder of the night.
The women went to the building with the hole in the wall I guess they had some rat playing with them. Meanwhile the guys were in the main building where we found a demonic being painted on the ground with horns.
When I started talking to the entities and stirring up activity the EMF detector kept going off like crazy. It would grow to a point where we had minutes of straight 8's on the detector which by the way is rare just ask any true parapsychologist. Something was working with us when we focused on the demonic art work and it was hanging on around.
In the basement we heard noises and movement actually Tim pointed it out. Tim is pretty observant of things I like that when others can notice things that I do not. I am not sure what was moving down in the basement but we did go and check it out. When we shined our lights down the hole Tim seen eyes looking back we had assumed it probably was an animal maybe a rat who knows I cannot say at this point.
We went down a stairwell into the tunnels where it went straight then veered to the right. Nobody got to see this but the very few its pretty eerie and I give Tim credit for going in with us. Earlier he wasn't going to go into any tunnels but he did overcome that factor and he went in with us so good deal.
That tunnel exited into the basement where there were broken pillars and pools of water. We found in some of the pillars bent rebar it was a bit odd maybe someone curled them to for safety issues hard to say. Nothing was down there but we did get a couple gauss spikes that were 10 which is the highest reading of ions in the air you can measure seriously. Whatever was here followed us right to the bit entry way of the main building but as soon as we exited the EMF stopped it was very odd. Its as if something chased us out of there and this happened with at least two of the buildings while with the guys.
After having fun in the basement we did go to the most haunted room at the flats the same location my motion detector was left in. The same location where Tammy seen the ghost. The same location that last time we were here we heard little girls giggling and talking in this room. The same location we found salt at the entry ways. This room is by all means a true example of a true haunting I am very strict about what I say is haunted and what isn't. This room once again has something an entity of some kind that dwells here and when I acknowledge it things get real scary fast.
I took some EVP in the room I was a bit frustrated the EMF wasn't going off it spiked earlier before we entered as if something passed by really quickly. But what was here was not working with me at the moment I had assumed that maybe the entity was busy bothering the girls Emily did mention to Tammy feeling something in the building they were in so maybe it was checking them out at the time.
. I asked it to make my EMF spike to 10 and for it to move an object or do something to give me a sign of its presence. We waited and waited and waited talking away being patient. As soon as I shut the camera off Tim said to me that sure is going to be a funny video if anything I was like your right.
All of sudden I shut all the lights off and turned then back on. Tim mentioned to me something hit his foot I was like WTF. We look down and there is this plastic lid laying on the top of his foot. There is dirt all over his shoe then we bent down to examine the evidence all of sudden the EMF spiked to a 10. The highest reading of the night it stayed a 10 for over a minute a new record from the last time I was here and I thought 15 seconds was a record hell. The boy had come home and he made his presence known to us.
I captured this evidence on video there is no denying it trust me and I know that every other paranormal group is going to try to copy me. They always do they turn my hard work into profits for themselves that is why I do not support half of these shows because the real paranormal investigators are the people like us going out there into the unknown to reveal this kind of phenomena without some TV crew of 20 people standing around making shit happen to boost there ratings. This was a real supernatural occurrence and you will see the video of me commanding this entity to do what I want then seconds later it happened it gave me the show I wanted.
We left the room the EMF was spiking up and down something was following us. It followed us to the entrance and then the EMF went dead again. It responded to our questions it responded to me asking it to stay with us. I heard Tammy over the two way radios telling me not to bring it home with us she is like tell your friend to stay behind lol. Yeah I make allot of friends ones of the living and the dead but this entity is very smart. This is an entity I do believe could cause havoc its strong its able to move objects its able to show itself and its able to cause the highest EMF spikes I ever encountered in my field of work at will almost.
I did take the guys back once again to the main building where we actually saw more cars and flashlights from other explorers coming on into the area. I actually heard many girls voices allot of women come up here to explore which is great because I do believe that all people should hike around this place its a very cool mill. I think its great that our younger generation has taken an interest in these sites but nonetheless allot of them do not have the safety experience we have so if someone gets hurt for sure that place will be torn down.
After visiting the main building again and taking some high EMF again we went to the building with the rebar ladder, pipes and hole in the wall. We had heard some movement looked up and there it was a giant white rat traversing the rusty pipes. This had to be someone's pet at one time it was not a normal rat. I was okay with it though certain rats I hate but this one seemed different and he was pretty friendly as he was building himself a nest for winter.
The room was fairly quiet it took sometime but eventually the readings continued here to sometimes it took me a bit where I would talk to them then wait a couple minutes till our meter went off but it never was a let down no matter what part of the Flats we went. I also found a stencil of the guy from Machete on one of the pillars the Flats are full of various pieces of art work all the way from incantations to demonic art work to symbols.
We ended up finishing off the exploration at one of the buildings we didn't visit earlier which was more like a roman temple of columns left behind when the cyanide tanks once stored it to be used in extracting the minerals from the ore. This part of the plant is unique with various tunnels and dozens of narrow columns. We found a tank that if you were to fall in you wouldn't be able to get out the walls were so high as we stood over it looking down.
This would be the final area of the investigation the readings slowed down and we seen another group of people exploring near the main building. It was good that we had two way radios so that we could exchange information as to where we were heading or going. But it also helped that we had two investigators armed legally on the investigation with hand guns. I think that as a group we are allot safer Tim is a big guy and pretty strong too. So now I know I wont have to face off against some creature alone lol.
Tim took on off to go meet with the girls they were already at the bottom of the tiers of the flats. We took some eerie photos at the processing area then made our way to the overgrown road where everyone was waiting. Overall it was a great investigation all the stars were out we had lots of supernatural activity. This time around ill be able to put some EVPs onto our site since last time all mine were stolen so it should be interesting to see what it is these entities are saying.
We had a great night all the way from high EMF readings to high Gauss readouts to everyone at least having one to two unexplainable experiences. At the end of the investigation I did briefly on video interview each of our investigators. I know that everyone had an amazing adventure and I look forward to reading some of the other investigators reports on this place so that we can add them to our American Flats section of the website.
More then likely this will be our final investigation we know the place is haunted we know what parts of it are haunted. Sadly the Flats may not be standing much longer I noticed some new areas had collapsed and only a few months had passed by. I also noticed newer graffiti and I am not sure what the future plans are for this place. I am just thankful everyone was safe sure we had a few rips in the clothing but for the most part all of us got to experience the strange as a group as a team which means something to me because now I have witnesses to attest that the work we do is valid and honest. American Flats has history people have died out here. Not only that but at one time this was a booming ghost town then the mill came later where at one time it was majestic not deplorable. It in my opinion is one of the most haunted locations in my career I been to and its active around every corner you turn for real.
I also heard that some major group from television was going to investigate this place on Halloween. See folks everyone copies my organization that is how they make there living is off us. Its like a news crew a plane crashes or something big happens they run to it like a mob. If we investigate some abandoned building and it turns out to be a great investigation then everybody including there grandma wants to exploit the place for there own gain. I do not care what anyone says we were the first group to document American Flats haunting's through our site now we have television networks wanting to do it without ever giving us any credit period. The fact however is I have the videos and the proof not them so they can bite me lol. The work we do is pure and honest because we enjoy the paranormal were not out to make money or fake it for ratings. I operate a self produced paranormal organization so all our work is our own and a majority of sites we go to are authentic originally places some that nobody even knows about.
Anyhow in conclusion to all of this it was a great October. If you look back look at what we achieved we did 10 investigations including two major ones this month which includes Fort Churchill and a third investigation of American Flats. This was the first fall I experienced in years and the first year in many years our team did this much work in October since 2008. We traveled out of state twice this month. It was the first time I was able to decorate my house to the max since I didn't have much of a home the last four years up until I moved here with Tammy.
October is a special month for the group I had a great time seen an awesome parade.....watched my kid in a Halloween play.....went to a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. Lets not forget the great Halloween show I did this month we had some pretty nice ratings the entire show is still up at
www.stickam.com/AngelOfThyNight this month we recruited new investigators for our team. We had allot of great updates on our site and I had the most trick or treaters at my house then any other year it was crazy just lines of kids.
I am looking forward to next October were a constantly growing group and we are doing well in this region. I am very proud of our investigators they all helped one another. They were courteous towards my protocols and they overcame there fears. Unlike the last guy who quit after our second investigation of American Flats due to being scared of what happened the last time we were up there in this case nobody ran off scared or hid in there cars. I was pretty proud that everyone worked hard towards the same goal to help prove to the world that this is one of the most haunted locations in Nevada so kudos to all of you. I been doing this work a long time so I observe my team to make sure they are doing the right things and helping one another is the right thing so right on guys.
After the investigation everyone went to Denny's except for half of us. I dropped Kyle back off at his truck and went home to go smoke a bowl. It was a long night and I had allot of fun. I cannot wait to experience more with our team members there is so many places to go to and see its endless out here in this region were at.
I know the other team members will have allot to talk about and they are more then welcome to send the reports to me so I can add them later to the site. We will have allot of NEW content to add to the site in regards to the Flats such as graffiti pictures, team shots, evps, night vision videos and some new areas of the mill I photographed. Including Tammy hugging a pillar in her witch mask haha good stuff:) Tammy also told me she sat in the demon room alone in the dark taking EVPs I cannot wait to listen to them. She told me it was rather quiet which makes sense since at the time she was there we were getting readings in other parts of the mill including a second long perfect 10 which means it was the same entity following us around.
You as members gotta love our group and the journey we have taken you on its been a great decade of experiences. I was very disappointed with the fact that the local newspaper would not do a story on us people have to stop discriminating on how we look or who we are. What is important is the work that we do which is in my opinion more stellar then even the shows you will ever see on TV.
The next day after the investigation was a bit rough for me you see I broke out in hives all over my body. I am not allergic really to anything however Tammy and I found this to be extremely strange. I am okay but I had hot flashes and wasn't feeling to good the next day. We have no explanation for all the marks I have on body but they are starting to heal and scab up thank goodness. I tend to take the brute end of the physical abuse on some of my trips maybe it was that earthquake I drank who knows.
Lastly id like to include to my members something about Pyramid Lake. I had permission to enter the public areas so we went out there in May of 2011 to hike. I paid my fees just as anyone else went through there police check points etc. As with Pyramid Lake there are talks of lake monsters, screaming ghost and as of recent mummies were found in some hidden caves up there. There is many stories and much culture in regards to the area.
Well recently the council for Pyramid Lake wrote me accusing me of trespassing telling me I went to there cemetery when I never set foot in it. They have threatened me with law suits, tribal police and attorneys. I guess they have some ordinance that you cannot take video or photos anywhere around the lake unless your hunting or depicting news. I was also accused of exploitation and disrespect. I am not sure how when all I have ever done is post historical, cultural and paranormal references. It is ridiculous that a million other paranormal sites, tourist sites and personal peoples sites have photos of the Pyramid Lake area yet they target me. I have a photo of me standing on the beach with my kids they want me to remove that to from my facebook its like WTF. After I have been educating people that the vandalism occurring at the Pyramid Lakes sacred sites is a disgrace. So I was pretty disheartened that the natives I have defended have turned on me like this its sad especially since I have not committed any crimes other then going on a picnic with the kids and taking some pictures.
I will not be removing the content and if they take me to court then they better hope they take the other 1000 as well otherwise ill be the one placing law suits on them for harassment and discrimination. I thinks some of you need to know the headaches that I have to deal with as a founder. Its not an easy position I am in there is always someone complaining or starting drama with me. Our site is a historical reference not just a paranormal one. We do not deface any sites we put them on our site to protect these places so that others can enjoy learning about them. We post photos of flowers, lizards, animals, ducks, birds, trees, mountains and even the paranormal. But according to them were disrespectful as if we live in the 1800's and the Pyramid Lake war is still going on. Its ashamed that I have to pay for someone else sins when I am just a guy running a paranormal group. What are they going to sue my kids to for taking photos of the lake also sheesh.
Anyhow now that its off my chest I just wanted to let everyone know that American Flats gets a thumbs up for its haunting's. I learned that its the same areas that seem to have paranormal activity. Although we probably will not go here again unless someone needs a tour or I am requested to do so by a TV network I will say that there is no place like the Flats.
Now that Halloween is over soon it will be time to put the Santa Hats on....Antlers....and Curly white beards and bring you guys some creepy haunted places during the upcoming holiday season. Our next investigation will take place at a very haunted cemetery up in the sierras and an eerie farm house woooo scary lol:)
I am glad some of our new team members were able to experience this Halloween special it really gives everyone an idea of how we conduct our investigations. If they can handle the Flats they can handle a majority of the locations we visit. Our ride out of the flats was eerie and quiet you always hope never to get stuck out here on some dirt road. We finished off October in a blaze of glory and ill be looking forward to sharing this evidence with the public so that other paranormal groups can line there pockets lol.
So what did we learn by all of this? That in phase 1 sure we had activity it was more of a see, hear and feel type of thing. However in phase 2 when I split the group up and our numbers were lower it was our scientific equipment that really did outstanding. It seems like the entity or ghosts within the flats took a higher interest with the guys then the girls. Maybe because this mill at one time did not have one single female so the rapport the entities might have perhaps is stronger with male figure heads not sure though but its a theory. Since I did see an entity earlier out in the sage brush and a couple others in my party thought they seen something to.
Also may I note that Catherine found two marbles in two separate locations kind of odd not paranormal just curious as to why someone would want to play a game of marbles here. Everytime we visit the Flats we find some kind of toy or game lol. Its little things like this that we notice like last time I found bottles of household salt and a homemade game board game. Someday this place will be gone but the memories of all the strange finds will always be a story to share with the grand kids and even our fans.
We hope that everyone had a very safe and happy Halloween it will always be one to remember. Halloween is also my anniversary with my girl. We drank wine...dressed all up for the kids and handed out candy. It was a blast and a really great month to explore the strange.

Also may I add crawling, climbing and traversing in cape is rather challenging. If it were not for Kyle to unhook my cape a few times id had two capes to wear haha. We really are looking forward to adding the final investigation of the Flats to the site which will complete this case file where now will be able to focus on other sites around Virginia City that are also quite haunted in the region. You guys are going to enjoy all this place has to offer and once again we thank everyone for there hard work on this project. What we do is based on friendship and having fun. Nobody pays us to do this we do it because we enjoy it and have a chance to see some pretty far out things. I should have this update out in a couple weeks on our site so state tuned. If you were a part of this investigation or even if you were not the supernatural that occurs at the flats will make anyone a true believer guaranteed!
