That is right folks I am back yesterday like we have done for many years brought you a special Christmas series of investigations just in time. You never realize the value of finding good people till you actually do and yesterday I posted an ad something I have been holding back on because I wanted to give the members dibs...and friends etc the ad was a success I met up last night with Orlando and Minnie for a very special Xmas extravaganza.

Also today I had a few more people write me and want to sign up after Christmas. I should have a full paranormal team for 2009 as I wanted. So things are looking good got a lot of nice emails on the last radio show people love it they want more. I may have hired on a co host for the show today he is a musician and has been television so once again things are really taking off.

I will be honest with my group the reason why we had to find new investigators is because June has ditched me the last three weekends on investigations and of course Friday...Chris known as Irish Stud and her walked out of the studio because a caller offended them to our show and they were arguing with eachother. Man I had to eat a lot of food alone that night good thing I was stoned out of my mind lol....I had eaten like 120 shrimp lol. Their is NO room for drama what we do is fun, adventurous etc its mean to be shared with friends get me?

I want others to know that I been doing this for years and you could meet 100 people...out of those 100 only one or two will ever be cut out to handle the explorations we do. I want to thank Orlando and Minnie they did really great last night . You do not find many cool people but they were exactly the type of investigators I am looking for.

We did not leave till later at night around 10pm and of course every holiday season I do some pretty cool places just for the fans...and members. This is my first time back out in a few weeks after my injuries I got up at Gass Peak....I felt pretty good very agile...was able to climb pretty easy and jump down off things etc with the exception of some left over pain I am back on track.

Anyhow we met on up loaded my gear on in and we headed off to the Boulder City area. Its a smaller town type of setting big historic homes...small town life...decorated city streets and also ALOT of snow I seen last night very rare very rare.

We did four locations last night the first one being The Nevada Southern Railway, Boulder City Power Complex, Boulder City Cemetery & The Very Cool Ethel M. Cactus Garden. I have to say these were all pretty cool places just adventuring in the night is generally good enough for me but to do 4 locations in one night is like the old days of PGS. You guys remember back in NY and FL how we would do a bunch of places well that is what we brought you. I took a lot of EVPs....a lot of PHOTOS. The weather was cool especially being at a higher altidude last night.

Anyhow Orlando stopped for coffee the chain on the door hit Minnie in the face weird things were already happening and so our adventure begins here.

Nevada Southern Railway

Man I love trains I had no idea yesterday that this place was this large. This was more of an exploration but it did turn into a haunting little place. We parked and walked on in you could feel the coldness of the night setting on in. In my opinion I was NOT dressed warm enough lol.

We started on off near the steam engine locomotive. The engine had a ribbon in front it was very large I would love to see in the future our country resort back to the old steam engines. They are more prestigious and use less fuel really when you think about it.

Their was a couple other engines one was a GE engine....another was a tow engine and they had a caboose which was very old. I went in there the windows were cracked....it was cold...the interior was all white and wooden. These Cabooses were pretty large back in the day. I looked at the team out the window.

I heard a noise near the Caboose and when I went out the backdoor I actually found a fourth engine which was gutted out and rusted. It was an old freight engine...of course the Santa hat went on and I sat right in the engineers seat pulling levers I probably should not pull haha. Some of the engines had some history on them written.

They also had a long couple post office passenger and cargo cars. I did not go in them but it was very beat up yellow on the outside....broken windows with metal mesh over it to keep the birds out. The one engine had a fuel tanker and a coal car. I climbed on up looked at the engine and coal car.

These engines were not easy to climb back then you had to lift your lefts almost as high as your head lol. I spent sometime up here was mad their was metal mesh I wanted a picture inside the engine. I heard a few noises around the trains ghost who knows. I can only explain what it is I know.

I had Orlando take a few photos of me....Orlando found a stone bench that was about to fall on over he was balancing on it. They had a few other things around like old baggage carts and machinery. The one yard was very little so I did not have to even use a flash on the camera all the time.

I spent longer then usual around the lit area looking under the trains and checking things out. Looked in one of the engines its like taking the hood of a brand new car haha. Then we all walked down the tracks along some switches and old rails. I could see patches of snow off to the sides kind of crazy to see in this part of Nevada fit the whole Christmas theme.

Its been awhile since we did some snowy investigations back in the day we use to traverse all the time in the Snow its fun but man your feet get cold when you have shoes with holes in them lol.

We walked down the tracks......and from afar I seen more trains afterall this was a yard so I figured their had to be more engines and cars somewhere else. It was not to bad of a hike we followed the tracks to a gutted old big steam engine. Now that had no prongs or anything to grab onto to climb on up.

I went up into this engine they had no wiring or fencing so I was able to peak my head on into the coal oven and climb on into the coal car. I guess they are restoring this one hope they do its a pretty majestic engine. We also found a few other cool things like a generator car, two cabooses one which was went into man it was cold in there but it had the two big bucket seats, bathroom, cabinets etc etc. of course not built for comfort.

Orlando climbed up this trick set of train cars then I followed...all you really had was a bar to grab and on the right side a prong so we had to kind of zig zag our way on up.

We spent a lot of our time in the train cars that were red on the outside...brown interior seats inside some gutted. We climbed up and into a pigeon poop bonanza haha man they were flying all over.....seats were burnt....I went down a hall had one fly right into me. However other cars were different one car we went into had hard brown seats the cushion no longer was even soft. In that car we found at least a half of dozen freshly dead birds one was dead up on a shelf it like something from a movie.

I felt watched heavily in this car and eventually we made our way over to the decorated restored train most of the cars were locked a few were wide open. The train looks pretty cool I would not mind taking a ride on it. The temperature controlled cars were all locked royal blue cars with nice soft seats looked pretty cozy inside.

Minnie tried to get in and we unlocked one of the doors it just would not budge. One train car had no doors and we were able to look inside that one was stripped. The stench of the bird crap was bad and you could see that on some windows chicken coop fencing was put around them. Some cars were nice others were not. The pigeons were more aggressive then the ghost lets put it that way and hopefully I don't get some weird disease cause I sat in one of the seats lol.

Walking between the cars had its eerie moment we noticed just talking various temperature changes which included a few cold and hot spots. The snow however was higher in this area of the yard. On a few occasions I heard pigeons freaking out from our lights other times But on a few occasions I heard unexplained noises like bangs, clinks, movement etc I remember in one of the cars the door was broke off just leaning I moved it to have a peak and pigeons were everywhere. But the sounds that make were very distinct and all the other noises were not.

We also went up to the main engine that pulls the tour cars nothing fancy to bad they no longer use the steam engines for tours like these. The restored cars were very nice while the other track had just a graveyard of train cars with broken glass, rotted seats, rodents, vandalism, dust and birds.

On the third track was industrial type of trains like one was an old freight engine with a flat bed and a car with some kind of crane on it. This was probably the old warehousing type of train cars and engines at one time.

The entire yard was really cool not to much ghost activity and some cars we just could not get into period. I would love to see some of the nicer cars inside. It makes you wonder what happened to many of these trains and cars a lot of history here.

We made our way back to the train depot and to the car. It was really cold outside it was a nice exploration and cannot wait to share some of the wonderful photography taken. If your into old haunting train yards with history then this will be one hell of an update for you to enjoy.

We then headed on off for our next adventure the Boulder City Power Complex.

Boulder City Power Complex

We found this by accident in a way it was not though I did a lot of research and found out this area has some water reclamation sites that are abandoned. When we were looking for the cemetery we happened to stumble across this place out in the dark just below the road.

I figured why not stop here its to investigate as much as you can when your out in the night roaming around. I read about these locations had no idea where they were but I must say it was a cool eerie little find.

Orlando drove down this little road that cut in off the main road down a hill. We parked in front of this complex to our left was a huge massive amount of transformers with the word danger. In front of us was a building with a garage and to our left another building that look like a workshop with double doors.

We also spotted to other small buildings more like storage sheds or something. The place had to be partially abandoned at least the water reclamation part of it. There was a giant water tank with a ladder that rose up fairly higher then the building this thing was massive.

The building with the garage had windows all open higher up along side of it. You could see cobwebs and hear a hum nearby from the transformers and voltage regulators.

We walked around the building to the back to the tank their was an old stone stair well we also found a giant hatch that looked pretty deep down in the hole I peeped through.

The tank was rusted and old. It sounded very emptied as Orlando banged on it. I walked back up and around noticed a lot of debris in the air things like hoses, metal, tall brush covering the buildings etc. We found another area which was a round concrete slab maybe another tank use to sit here. A lot of pipes were all over and on the backside was a pair of Jeans laying on the ground with a huge hole in the fence to the power grid.

I definitely was not in the mood to cook last night so we stayed out of that area lol. The team hung around outside of the garage and I took some photos up in the unloading ramp area. I got some good photos of the power grid. The electricity was just humming we took our time and chilled.

I noticed that the windows on the building were broke with a metal door on each side of the tan like building. We heard some noise from within but you could tell that most of the property was vacated. Their was chains going through the one set of windows....and another door was bolted shut with a screw plate.

It was more of an urban exploration then anything but we had our fun. Orlando stood next to the low overhang and his head was as high as it. Because they had a low over hang little structure on site. Most of the sidewalks were cracked....everything was over grown....and we could see a casino way off in the distance but for the most part this area is heavily rurral and desert. Just nearby is a hiking trail that goes for 32 miles just to give you an idea its all desert. All you have is these structures...the water tank sitting in the vastness of it all.

After our fun here we headed out to search for Boulder City Cemetery. This one would be an adventure in itself.

Boulder City Cemetery

We went downtown no traffic nobody even on the streets passed by the police station lol. I was still thawing from the cold and the address we had led us to a park. I thought it was strange because we did not seen no tombstones or signs. We seen park benches.....a memorial....and some of the largest trees in the area.

The park had a lot of snow in it a melted snowman and a giant snowball. The street had piles up to 4 feet high of snow from perhaps plows brought up from Mt. Charleston.

We seen a coyote cross the road serious it was made leaving the park going up some bodies driveway. We parked then we got out seen an entire pack of coyotes in the park. We went into the park they did not pay any mind to us.

There was not much to the park just a lot of snow covered grass...a memorial...a few old lamp post in the area....the homes around here were very cozy nothing like Vegas houses. All the homes were either brick.....some wood....etc we could smell leaves here I actually seen real leaves on the streets. I mean you cannot ask for a better xmas investigation for the fans.

We walked through the park to a turbine from the dam it was amazing besides the fact I seen Orlando and Minnie hug a tree:) and Minnie said to me you know you want to. I did why lie but see I was to damn cold lol. You try being a poor man with holes in your shoes through snow let me know how your toes feel ha.

We were going crazy looking for the cemetery Orlando can get maps and our location with his phone its pretty tight. The Internet was wrong in fact we were nowhere near the cemetery. After walking behind a church and having a motion light turn on in the middle of trying to pee....journeying through dark historic streets...watching coyotes run by us...we finally went to 711 and a kind night worker gave Minnie the proper directions.

We found it actually it was two cemeteries side by side. The trees here were pretty big....but what it comes down to is a giant plot of flat land....with flat stones. You wont get good cemeteries like back east around Vegas. They are what they are!!!

We pulled in on the backside....the cemetery had some deep snow in various parts. I remember stepping into snow as deep as 8 inches my entire shoe got buried lol. I was having fun though...a lot of the ground stones were covered we ended up taking a road it was very dark which came to the other cemetery or just a giant patch of grass. My feet were both wet very very cold. As it is they were in pain after running around the park looking for this place now we were right up in the snow and it was worst then the park.

I smelled flesh burning its hard to explain maybe the crematory who knows I did not seen one I seen some houses further back...then behind us a giant hill which looked sort of like a reservoir. We also had a coyote somewhere near the cemetery and Orlando is like that is a dog.....and all of sudden we heard howling haha.

I did not see many decorations in the cemetery I found one little tree with a Xmas display near a stone. It was a pretty good sized area but the graves were spread out and not to many burials. We took some photos near the sign out front....we spent sometime in the mausoleum area also one side had urns the other caskets but as always those are lit up very well at night.

We ended up hiking back through the center of the cemetery found an old well....a memorial of some kind....then walked on the backside to the storage shed. It really was not an exciting place I took some photos and EVP's who knows. I think the whole howling....snow on the ground....dark walkways etc really is what made it a fun place to check out.

I would prefer a more historic cemetery any day but I also realize that ghost are almost present in any cemetery we go whether they are silent or banshees. One thing that caught my eyes is the trees here grow very oddly.....some are rather eerie looking. Some of the flat stones are nicer then other places in Vegas but still its a dark little place off to the side with a hill in the back its not to bad.

Near where we parked was a freshly dirt grave with a small mound with NO stone that was kind of eerie right around the holidays to see. It was not easy after this investigation. You see I got hurt up in the Sheep Mountains pretty bad so the cold did not do well with my feet and I was in a lot of pain. I had to take my socks off last night to warm them up and rub the torn muscle tissue.

Orlando told Minnie last night I bet you did not expect to wake up then end up in a cemetery did you lol. I mean we have a fun group you just never know what we might check out or where we will go. Orlando and Minnie are very laid back they explore very good....and there not uptight like a lot of recent people I met for my investigations. I mean it is what it is every place has some level of risk.

What I never thought is I would be near Las Vegas investigating in the snow lol. I mean when I was up in Buffalo years ago we use to go through 3 to 4 feet of snow in cemeteries the photos always turned out nice with icicles hanging off the graves. But man when your not prepared for it its not fun trust me.

We went to our final place of the night the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory Cactus Garden.

Ethel M. Chocolate Factory Cactus Garden

We got a little turned around when getting off the expressway and of course directions on mapquest are not always accurate so we ended up going down a dead end. But on our way back we seen the factory and cactus garden all lit up with the xmas theme.

We stopped at another gas station everybody got coffee some snacks etc of course fatburger was looking pretty good man lol. Then we headed back down that road and found the parking lot...with little side street leading to the cactus garden.

I could not believe the amount of xmas lights we seen and decor. I have not seen that much in years talk about the xmas spirit you would have to have it to go walking through this place.

We opened the gates went down the walk way. It was hard to see any of the cactuses because of all the lights. Keep in mind this is the largest collection of cactuses that exist in the state hell maybe even the west. They have every species you can think of and most are very beautiful some look like trees.

Last year ago I was up at some springs in FL visiting a xmas holiday event sat on the throne last year and guess what? This year I sat on the throne to lol at Ethel M. Just in a nick of time just watch our show if you want to learn the truth lol.

This turned into more of an end of the year fun event for us and for the future kids who browse our site. I seen so many lights, penguins, snowmen, Santa Claus, lollipops, gingerbread man and everything else. It was so well lit here it was like daytime I hate to see there electric bill.

The one area however I wanted to focus on really was not the garden but the reclamation area in back. I was cold so I didn't investigate it as much as I should. But its quite historic and something others should see.

They had a hangar off to the back and a giant wrought iron fence around two fountains or something to that effect. The water was just rushing....then another large area we saw a giant area full of wires....and what looked like giant pots lol. Orlando was talking about growing some serious herb here.

The reclamation plants purpose is to water the botanical gardens around Ethel M. no chemicals no waste water ever leaves the plant. Its some of the purest water period in the entire area. We also seen these UFO like structures kind of odd just their design trust me I wanted to climb on top it crossed my mind.

We found Santa's throne but we also found security sitting in a room in front of a window well Orlando did hahaha. Orlando and Minnie sat on one of the cozy couches perfect for the homeless these holidays. Also what helped even more is the gardens had snow in them perfect with all the xmas lights.

We chilled near the chocolate lounge for awhile oh man thoughts of dark chocolate...M&Ms....hot coco.....my stomach started rumbling haha. After about 500,000 thousand lights almost and 3 acres of hiking in the cold I was ready to turn it in for the night. PGS turned out the rest of the month on a great note between our two shows....the season finale show we have coming up on the 30th...snow mountain...then these investigations.

Whether the cactus garden has energy or not I feel it others may not its a real mystical feeling here. I suppose every place has energy the key is capturing with the camera or on your voice recorders.

In conclusion I want to say Merry Xmas From Myself To all of you....please remember not to drink and drive these holidays. Some of you should appreciate what you got if I told some of the sorrow I am going through recently some of you out there in our groups would show a little more respect towards me.

I will say this lets hope for a better 2009 for starters. We pulled out a lot of good investigations in 2008 not as many but the places we did were all pretty major locations. Its been a rough year one full of trials I could spend a lifetime sharing this past year with everybody.

But we finished off the year with some cool places...we have two new investigators.....I just now had about 6 others write me today wanting to sign up on our team in Vegas to so again cheers to 2009. I been patient for many years I have all these forums allowing our members first dibs if you do not bite then I will get others involved who are NOT members keep this in mind.

I do believe in good karma Orlando and Minnie are so on my wave length they did very well and I look forward to taking them out on more explorations around the area. When I got home I was pretty tired I had me a bowl of cereal and went to bed. It was past 5am we probably would have been home earlier but we spent awhile trying to find the cemetery in Boulder City and still managed to have fun getting lost hell we learned the entire city during that time haha.

Nobody says its pretty but man we sure had a fun time last night and Ill be looking for other positive....charismatic...good people to join our journeys for the upcoming season. For putting everything together yesterday nearly last minute it turned out well.

I didn't have to deal with making out couples....fighting couples...being yelled at because we got home to late...or because it was cold....or that my directions were off. I actually can say there are some cool people out there and now some of you will have to wait till next year to see more journeys lol.

So anyhow Merry Christmas its been a poor year for me I think I change what I said on my radio show I wish for new shoes lol. I look forward to putting out these updates before the end of the New Year perhaps we shall see:)

We have a lot of things going on in our society right now I put out my books, posters, season 1 and 2 are almost ready for sale, prospects for a couple co host to come down to our studio to help me do the show etc etc and in a couple weeks will probably do some caves so things are going smooth.

Keep in mind folks donations are very important this is to the members we have site dues coming up, all my equipment is ruined almost from snow mountain and honestly I need others to start pulling together for the group.

As far as last nights excursion I can tell you I felt a ghost at the Rail Yard, One Inside The Power Plant, Energy at the Cemetery and the Cactus Garden well perhaps natural energy over a specific entity. Good times lots of laughs great exploring brought to you by PGS. I want to welcome Orlando and Minnie to our team you guys did great they are both every observant....Orlando's pretty agile....good sense of humor and that is what it is about!

I am going to spend the next couple weeks trying to heal up I feel pretty good though I hopped a fence...jumped off a train....traversed in snow....and still managed to get this report out today not bad. Will be planning for some interesting future trips Orlando has some cool places to in mind. peace
