Plantation was one of the most wealthy in the area only to end in a sad
demise being raided by the Seminole Indians. Once visited by Audubon and
great Indian chiefs this plantation perhaps faced a chain of tragic
events. Was there a curse or just a mere coincidence? Strange figures
walking in the woods, being followed on a dark road and ghostly lights in
the woods are just a few of the paranormal happenings surrounding these
gloomy ruins deep in the woods.

Ormond Indian Burial Mound
is one of the most well intact prehistoric mounds in Eastern Florida. At
one time great chiefs and warriors were buried here as there flesh was
stripped from the bones and they were buried in sacred ceremonies. Today
it sits with a strong energy near some houses. Tales of balls of light and
strange feelings are told surrounding this ancient mound.

Tomoka & The Nocoroco Indian Village
a place where the Timucuan Tribes hunted, fished and lived off the land
only later to face the terrible threat of man clearing its lands for

Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery is home to the well known Pierson Family but
does something more sinister lurk around this well lit place of the

Lutheran Cemetery. Do a father and his son watch over this peaceful place?

Woodland Cemetery
contains many early pioneers of Daytona and Port Orange. Today it is segregated
old from new. Patchy cold spots, foul rotting odors and a large ball of
light are seen experienced here. A gloomy feeling exist in the pioneer
section where lids are torn off crypts, stones are laying on the ground,
some are broke and many children are buried close together as well as many
confederate soldiers from the civil war. This cemetery has many sacred

 The
Freemanville Settlement was one of the first freed slave camps in the
state of Florida and the largest. Sitting on the Halifax river many
soldiers from the civil war and escaped slaves made there home here. Only
today the Mount Moriah Church stands and the dearly departed walk. Stories
of tragedies have befallen this settlement as children starved, illnesses
caused deaths and once a thriving settlement now resides only a small
park.

Dunlawton Plantation
& Sugar Mill Gardens has a long historical series of events. Once
burned to the ground and taken over by the Seminole Indians it was one of
the only plantations restored to be used for production during the civil
war. Only later to be used as a theme park called Bongoland with
dinosaurs. Today it sits quietly known for its beautiful botanical
gardens. But a strange feeling surrounds this area such as the sound of

first municipal structure in New Smyrna sits on the grounds of a civil war
