Train Graveyard
I saved this one for last cause trains are always meant to be fun. Very
few people get to board old trains, steam engines, cabooses etc so I
thought this would be a nice change in pace.
We arrived at the old set of unused tracks and spot a long set of train
cars surrounded by brush and vines. They were all CSX cars mainly grain
cars, tankers, and a few other types.
We parked but finding a way up to the tracks was a challenge since thistle
brush grew very thick along the tracks. But eventually we did make it up
here. Jason went climbing on a car while I took off alone on the darker
side of the tracks.
There was about four dogs in someone's yard barking like crazy so I had to
make haste. I took photos of quite a few train cars but all of them were
fairly the same. I could send a mild of feeling of being watched and there
was parts here that had just a gloomy feeling.
We met up with Lucy and Charles they found a spot and came up on the
tracks with us. The brush was fairly thick in some areas. Basically I
wanted to find the older trains that I read about here. At one time Citrus
cars use to be a major industry on these tracks but I did not find any.
I had Lucy and Charles walk back to get the car cause I found more trains
way further down the track. This set had a couple box cars not sure if
they were the ones that were used in the old Tarzan Movies or not but they
were pretty aged.
We took photos and Jason climbed to the top of the grain car. It was
pretty high up I give him a thumbs up for going up there. This reminded me
of a set of trains him and I investigated when we were up in NY when he
climbed on the top of a freight train engine lol. Oh my how history
repeats itself.
We finished the last of the cars and started getting into a more
residential area which sat along these houses. Unfortunately to my
surprise there was no old steam engines, cabooses, or passenger cars. Its
possible at one time they were here and were moved to a train museum in
the state.
But still the train cars were just as eerie as anything else sitting on
these old tracks which have a fairly long history as well. I seen two more
meteors in the night sky while walking along these tracks. I felt a
presence of a couple male entities here that is my conclusion to this
eerie freight yard.
In conclusion the night turned out really well we had a long trip back
home so we stopped for hot dogs, snacks, and drinks. We also brought a
cooler and food.
It was a really nice trip out of town we got good ghost activity, seen
some shooting stars, and it was very serene. We are very fortunate to be
able to visit such places. Not many get to see Indian mounds that date
back a few thousand years ago or get to visit the site of a plantation.
I will tell you that everybody is in for some really good ghost
photography from last night and I am really glad to see others are
volunteering there time for our cause. We took last night EVP, Video
Recording, Photos and it was nice having Lucy also take photos. So the
investigation turned out to be very productive.
Lucy told me to make her first investigation with us memorable so I did
just that and with that in mind it does not get any better then this as
far as supernatural investigations go. Peace
