Memorial Grounds
We
pulled up a dirt road which led to this hidden little secret and it had a
pretty eerie feel to it. The cemetery appeared to be over grown had many
large oaks growing throughout it as well.
The other thing we noticed is a house located right in the cemetery of
course with one loud dog barking coming from within it. We could not spend
much time here cause of that reason so I made sure I made my visit count.
We noticed the graves here were very distant from one another. But the
condition was very terrible here as some stones were broken, cracked, and
it was not exactly the type of memorial grounds you would expect it to me.
I think I seen maybe three different graves that were given attention.
I did hear some movement along the tree line and the cold spots were very
defined. But when you have a dog barking so loud you really cannot focus
or get wind of anything.
We started to head back to the car when I shined my light on over some
higher grass and brush. We noticed more older graves further towards the
house all very close to one another.
We walked to the front to take a photo before we left and things got
pretty cold. It was apparent that the cemetery was one of these old black
burial grounds. Probably most burials here were living during the civil
war. I took some EVP here and we did not spend a long time here the ghost
were real apparent from as soon as we walked in.
We then visited our next destination which was the Osceola Vault.
