The asvension would take us for nearly 500' into an open area they call Big Meadow. From Big Meadow you can chose to hike out to Lake Dardnelles, Meiss and Round lakes. I have been to them all even hiked over Red Peak to get to this region the basin is lush but to get there would require uphill endurance.	One you cross the bridge it technically becomes quickly remote and serene. This really is where you get into the wilderness and there is no looking back as the hike to Scott's lake would take a couple miles through a very lush mixed dense forest.

Not saying Bigfoot did this but on occasion I been seeing allot of large rocks turned over. It could be a bear this one is not as large but up at Kings Canyon there was one much deeper and thrown off a cliff leaving a hole similar to this one. Only difference is the rock is laying to the left of it. It could be something Bigfoot might do or like I said a black bear learning for bugs perhaps. More importantly with all the big rocks, old trees and dense foliage anything could use this place as if it were a primates playground.	Their are allot of muddy areas along just about any trail if you go hiking in the Spring many waterfalls and seasonal creeks. If you hike more in the summer you will find wet patchy areas like this where the creeks now barely trickle.

In the 1800's going into the earlier 1900's the area was used for lumbering to build up towns like Markleeville, Woodfords or even be shipped as far as Virginia Cities Comstock. Much of the forest has been lumbered while much of it is recovering many stumps and fallen trees are found in this portion of the journey.	To the NW is the Carson Range which we have done extensive Bigfoot and UFO research in. You can see how vast is it just by viewing the video of the peaks and many rock formations that something could hide up near.

For thousands of years the ancient Washoe collected and harvested pine nuts for the winter months as a subsistence. It is very plausible to say that Bigfoot may also eat the pine nuts. I came to this realization when in June of 2014 I found in the middle of grassy knoll I found a pile of cracked open pine nuts that were eaten.	As you head in closer to Scott's Lake you will began to see how remote of an area this area. The woods are full of fallen rocks, large trees and the peaks barely peer through density of the forests. Even though your a few miles from the highway it gets remote the moment you step out of your vehicle and hit the trails.

On the trail we passed this group of dogs and a hiker. You can bring your dogs back here just keep in mind their are allot of mosquitoes here so your dog could get heart worm if he is not vaccinated against it. Otherwise then that this is a great place to let the dogs go the path is fairly narrow with allot of wildflowers and scents.	The Eldoradio Forest is an amazing expanse its known for its Bigfoot strangeness. But at the same time other people are not as adamant as protecting this beautiful lost paradise so they cut holes through trees like this which killed the tree unfortunately.

When the trail ends you begin to follow an old jeep trail along the rim of the lake. You then descend down into the forest through the trees onto a beautiful sandy beach of Scott's Lake. This is a very blue lake so through the forest you cannot miss seeing it below.	Waterhouse Peak is about 9,500' it is a true monster within the Carson Range where the sierras began.You can summit the mountain but the last remaining part of the hike is very steep just as its a much more difficult climb. Waterhouse Peak overshadows Scott's Lake so the view is worth the jaunt back here. Now pay very close attention to the woods far back you will see a large creature running from left to right from 0:31 to the 0:32 timestamp's could this be Bigfoot its bipedal, dark and moving in large strides? There was nobody up there in those woods at the time we did our north shore hike with my eyes one might not to be able to see it but with an HD Cam anything is possible considering the size of the video and movement reduction its possible that we may have caught the worlds most Elusive monster on film thank you +clydefav aka Jennifer for pointing this out good eye!

This is one of many common garter snakes found in the sierras although this one is not venemous it does have a toxin that can make you very sick. This breed of snake is found near water hence why their are so many near Scott's Lake and they can get nearly to 4' in length. This one is a bit more aggressive then the previous ones we have handled and worked with.	The north shore is less visited this is because its more rugged with dozens of tree stumps, rock, inlets and even this log. Along the north shore jaunt we seen plenty of butterflies and found these bear tracks where you can tell headed to the water to fuel up.

We found this bushwhackers makeshift teepee. Someonw ho made it was really roughing it here. Although this bark house differs compared to the Kings Canyon Shelter the both are designed to be used for shelter. Whoever made this used the drift wood and local branches that were exposed to the elements for years. The wood is much lighter and can be used to support other logs as it is also flexible. Someone may have stayed awhile here!! Keep in mind their is also a very large heel impression we did not think much of it but I did document it in our video journal here for hour viewers.	At one time this area was used for lumbering not many even know this but Scott's Lake is man mane that explains the land of stumps where are found everywhere. After it was lumbered the lake was built to conceal the stumps however due to mild winters the lake is beginning to shrink exposing them.

Earlier in my film I said this was an old cattle ranching fence however later after the boys latched it against a tree which nearly cut us up to pieces we realized the forestry integrated some fencing and makeshift gate to keep the jeeps from getting onto the hiking trail. So make sure if you hike here you always attack the gate and barbed wire to the tree.	Even as a Bigfoot field investigator I never take anything for granted the nature surrounding this portion of the trail is worth stopping and checking out. It can vary as the Scott's Lake trail differs from other terrain found here within this Tahoe Basin. Among the forest flowers can be found even the carpenter ants working away carving out tunnels within a fallen tree. Nothing here goes to waste life thrives here!

Big Meadow is to our left just through some trees. This would be an area we would break at that way we could enjoy the open views of many peaks that surrounded it the most prominent being Red Peak which we have hiked over to get to this basins other lakes. Big Meadow has its fair share of creeks including tributaries of the Truckee River unfortunately due to a mild winter 2014 has been very dry so not many wild flowers.

This is Big Meadow its so lush here everything is green it is no wonder why early ranchers used this region to feed there cattle and sheep. Red Peak overshadows Big Meadow on the otherside of it is the mighty Carson Pass, Elephants Back and even The Devil's Ladder where the early pioneers began their ascension into the high sierras.

Descending onto Luther's Pass gives off some really great views of the high peaks which over overshadows Lake Tahooe and of the Carson Range. The descent is a big rugged full of rocks, steep banks and mud at times. As we left behind Big Meadow the only thing stopping us from heading home is this last final push into the pass where we were parked.
