 Ponce Inlet Lighthouse

As promised I wanted to bring you a story here so you can only imagine how excited I was to be able to do this. Nothing beats haunted harbor tales on a cold winters night and now I was able to bring you a story on one of the most famous lighthouses in the country. Despite the fact that the program director has it out for us I still managed to pull of a beautiful investigation as a Christmas Gift from myself to all my members.

We started off our investigation outside one of the assistant keepers houses. Just looking at the grounds it was apparent that over 10 buildings if not more scattered the sight as I could see the keepers house, oil house, lighthouse, assistant keepers house, boats etc etc just all kinds of neat things on site to see.

It took a long time to get the ghost active here I mean a lot of the ghost probably are in some of the buildings so I had to walk around alot gather some attention. Lee took a photo of me standing on the steps of the lighthouse. This thing is very tall and the windows were all lit up and
there lights atop of it were rotating with bright light.

There was a eerie feeling on the site it was very quiet and the wind was just howling right off the water. I sensed more or less alot of ghostly entities inside the buildings maybe just curious or watching. Eventually though when we got to around the 46 foot tugboat that is when activity started to pick up.

I did not notice anything to strange maybe because the grounds are lit so well especially with Christmas and all there was a tree all decorated on site. Since this was our first trip basically what we wanted to do is bring you a few photos of the grounds at night, get a few ghostly photos, and give you a little history on the area so that was our main goal. We did not spend alot of time here so we did not get to see everything as we may plan a second visit in the future.

Lee and I walked around the lighthouse a few times then we decided to head on off after a few photos. We went for a hike in the woods got a few scratches on some Palmetto Trees. The terrain was quite rough. On our way hiking in what I would call the jungle ecosystem because that is what it was back in through here something was following us and it was on our tail. As Lee described it you could hear a branch break followed by running towards us. I think the wood near the lighthouse was perhaps far more eerie then the grounds but its the whole peninsula in my belief that is haunted.

Finally we made our way back to the car and whatever kept following us in the woods backed off. We came across a visitors center as well and a light came on all on its own this is another thing we could not figure out. It was not a motion light since we were not even that close yet it just flickered on. So some little things here and there gave us signs that its very likely there is something going on around the lighthouse.

We walked back to the vehicle and took a ride past the lighthouse and parked in front. Two
sheriff cars were hiding in the dark end of the parking lot smoking cigars and talking. Lee and I looked at them both stared them down and continued our investigation haha. I mainly wanted to work on captured entities around the lighthouse park area and the main gates. I could not get an ounce of ectoplasm, energy, orbs nothing of the sort with the cops only 50feet away from us.

So we walked away and I climbed on this coquina animal in the park held up my lighthouse brochure lol then we walked on over to a wooden bridge. Crossing the road there was an old boat and pirate statue we took a photo then crossed the road back on over to a old building probably once also part of the lighthouse grounds. When we arrived back the cops were getting ready to leave we ignored them and kept photographing unlike the DeLand officers these guys
paid no mind to us or even asked what we were doing they probably had some idea anyways.

After they left I captured some energy I could see it in the flash and Lee described seeing a swirling mass of
Ecto right out in front of me. Upon studying my photo today it seems an entity is looking right over the lighthouse gates at us again proving that the entities here were either greeting us goodbye or perhaps would not come out till the cops left. But it seems from the investigation here that whatever is here tends to stay within the lighthouse grounds and white picket fences surrounding the area accept for whatever followed us through the woods. All in all this turned out to be quite an adventure and although I did not get to spend as much time here as I wanted exploring I do believe some good photos came out of this along with us being one of the first groups to actually take the time to learn more about its haunted history on a deeper level first hand.

So in conclusion to last night's adventure we had alot of fun did alot of hiking, exploring and both of us
seemed to produce some good photos in these historical places. We do hope that we can return to them all and we also hope that you will have a nice Christmas.

As I said many times over the last few years that with hard work comes rewards. We had alot of fun, the stars were out, and it seemed that each area we went had some activity even if it was just a few footsteps or a brief moment of visible energy. All in all however I did achieve my goals and I did tell you that we would conquer this lighthouse and so we did. To honor this hard work there will be no investigations for the next two weeks as we have a meeting coming up and a great New Years Party to celebrate all this great achievements. Have a good day!

 Ponce Inlet Light House

 Areas of notice to me:

The light house, not only because it is so huge, but the energy I felt around it was a whirling energy that drew up into the higher areas of the lighthouse. I believe that any strong ghost activity might culminate there.

The tug boat, this was where a curious energy began following us. as well as it seemed to have alot of residual energy around it.

The surrounding woods, heard footsteps following us. As well as I sensed energy moving around and towards us.

The front gates, once the cops had left I sensed a swirling energy inside the gate and it showed on film. I believe that this may be the same energy I sensed around the tugboat.

This is not to say the whole area doesn't have activity, but we didn't spend very long at this place and I would have liked to spend
at least an hour and a half going from building to building to properly do this place, but that isn't the case.
