Subj: [ParanormalFlorida] Last Night's Investigation Report   Date: 7/10/2005 7:30:27 PM Eastern Daylight Time  From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com  To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com,  paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com,  Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com,  ParanormalGhostSociety@groups.msn.com,  ParanormalGhostSocietyConnections@yahoogroups.com  Oviedo Ghost Lights Saving the best for last we headed on off to perhaps is said to be the most haunted and strangest area in Seminole County. I wanted to visit this place because many folks have told me about this place but their is a book about it. Like most ghost lights this place does not receive as much publicity as the Brown Mountain Ghost Lights do. But see this was a combination investigation cause we would explore the road the lights are seen on, the haunted bridge and of course a part of the Econlockhatchee River. We drove up the dark woodsy road and of course those woods we might consider investigating in the future. But for now we wanted to explore the bridge and the surrounding area. So I parked just past the bridge and we headed down a dirt road which went down towards the river.  Right away we seen a bunch of old stones under the bridge which made it obvious that at one time a much older bridge use to be here. We sat under the bridge and it was eerie I mean if I ever felt watched this would be the place. We turned off our spotlights and just sat their in silence. I took some photos but the flash only could reach so far as the river was quite wide across and all we could see was pillars and even some trees growing in the water. We noticed eventually seeing a set of green eyes staring at us. I do not know what it is maybe an animal or maybe something else. But either way the point is that something standing about 6 feet high was watching us from the middle of the river behind a bush growing in the water. I questioned the eyes because what animals would swim to the middle of the river and sit 6 feet up in a tree staring at us. Whatever it was never took its eyes off of us every time we shined the light we would seen two green eyes staring directly at us about 80 feet away.  Strangely the eyes were spread fairly far apart so its hard to say what it was. We then climbed back up the slope walked the bridge to get on the other side of the river. On seen these two odd streaks of light they circled around and went straight towards the ground. They were rather balls of light or streaks. In the same area was a few fireflies but  We could not find where the eyes were coming from. For some reason on this side of the bridge their was alot of wall graffiti. You could tell people come here to party even some beer bottles we found. I noticed the one symbol is something I seen in other haunted places do not know what it stands for. We also found a hole that went into the bank of the river and Jason almost fell in checking it out haha.   We then climbed back up the bridge and walked down the opposite side once again. We looked over the river and seen an alligator swimming along the river. All you could see is its eyes as it floating along. Jason chased it and I was trying to take its photo lol.  We spent some more time walking the bridge and the road. One thing that stood out more then anything is that I heard these moans off in the woods and at one time these screams. The moans sounded ghostly but the screams sounded Cryptid or like some animal.  The area near the river was swampy so we really could not hike in the woods. I have a way to get in those woods which would be entirely a whole separate investigation. I will maybe plan that in the future.  We concluded the area to be peaceful we did not encounter the ghostly man of the bridge or really see the odd ghost lights or perhaps I did? It is hard to say one thing that I felt was a strangeness to the area. Their is alot more that remains to be seen. Their really is no houses near by its all state forest and dirt roads up in through here. I did feel a presence just watching us around the bridge sure some areas were cooler then others but the one thing I cannot forget is the eyes just watching everything we were doing. So in conclusion to last night's report we really did not get alot of paranormal photos but there was what I would like to call little activity. That is what investigating is all about checking out all the minor occurrences that could be that ghost or that bigfoot watching us from afar. I do hope eventually we will revisit these areas. Surprisingly with the hurricane that was looming in the gulf really did not increase the activity as it usually does. On our way home Jason and I stopped by subway we had both the munchies lol so we grabbed a couple subs he had an Italian one & I got a Philly cheese steak mmmmm. It was a nice investigation lots of fun and we hope next time we return we have a much bigger team. Peace Rick
