Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Cemetery

This was is another easy one to miss since literally it sits on a private dark road. We did pass it retraced our steps ended up taking a dirt road to far. The cemetery actually was hidden with many vines and fencing. I had a hunch so I got out of the car shined my spotlight seen a few tiny stones way off in the distance I was so excited.

We parked and had to walk quite  a ways finding some rusted gates. I must had gotten perhaps 10 feet from the gates and heard a moan it was loud I was not the only one who heard this. I laughed it off at first because I know you got your owls, animals, frogs, and trees creaking. However I went to unlatch the chain on the gates when as soon as I got it done to my right at the edge of the cemetery was a very low voice that said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It carried on and John who was standing next to me heard it. I lost my balance and fell backwards but the gate somehow caught me.

I was the first one to enter everybody waited at the gate. I did what I had regardless of the fact that we were not very welcomed. This is very rare because I have visited many cemeteries but this one just took the cake as far as the unfriendliness of the ghost here. We heard the No's many times eventually Pam heard it then even Joy. We visited the Gazebo and for a while the voice stopped.

We then headed to the back of the cemetery and on a scale of eerie places this one gets a number 1 because many of the trees here were broke, twisted, and one even fallen. We also started to access the fact that most stones were very spread out you would have some burials all alone. An example of this would be a cylinder stone we walked up to.

Pam heard a ghost tell her of a lady get out she was very angry. They backed off but I rewalked up to the stone again and calmed her down something I do a good job at.  We walked around and it seemed once again there were many burials without even stones lots of opened land and willow trees which really interfered as far as investigating since by accident I walked into a spider web it tasted so good. But the banana spiders were out and there was some big ones just sitting on 6' webs.

We then heard something that was very odd it probably was an animal but it was a scream like something was attacked. It just screeched real loud and was close by. What is odd though about the cemetery is that it contains a few different family plots basically there is over 5 different families buried here. So we came across stones of fathers, mothers, baby, etc. There were two baby burials here one of them had a photo she was a cute little girl what ashamed. 

A few times we shut the lights off and listened as the ghost saying NO changed directions it was now coming from a different area of the cemetery. I heard a branch break I said to everybody maybe we have a phantom perhaps a zombie these things do exist in our world. But something was warning us. We kept on eventually walking to some stones that were buried by trees, foliage, ivy and brush. A few of them stuck out but they were buried good you could tell others had left most stones alone for years. John and I felt some coldness in this area as well as he said he seen something strange perhaps like a ball of light near me. 

We then headed back towards the very corner of the cemetery to find some stones all by themselves at times the No's got much stronger and angrier sounding. I am sort of upset because I know I should have recorded this but without a good microphone it would be to fuzzy. But all of us heard it many times. I then told the group we are going to find the source of this I was just way to curious.  We went to the edge of the cemetery where this was coming from and as you can guess the NO's completely stopped. But as John mentioned the bass or tone in the voice was very low tone so it sounded like perhaps an older person.

We then left and it was apparent the cemetery was very unfriendly I was thankful to have a team to visit here. This place holds some secrets and the phantom that says No we know was just watching perhaps waiting. Was this a warning or something else in  nature? We left very puzzled so in closing to the night we headed to Pinehurst Cemetery.
