Lambert Tower

Kristina also came along for this investigation not even sure if you can call it an investigation cause once again being I wanted to hike the trail I was told forget it that I could park and take photos of the tower rather then hike to it. I could see that this trip would turn into a military know it all brat and a spoiled brat sad to say but that just is the truth of things.

We made our way up Mt. Garrett it was pretty I photographed some deer for my members they were super friendly I got just a few feet away. It was ice cold rain and fog was setting in so I did not mind not hiking it but I could have taken a few minutes to let the rain subside if I was not ordered what to do here.

We passed by a tank in the area it was one of those world war II ones and some memorial. I did not seen Lambert Castle I asked Adam he said he did not know. As I drove around the one way road we passed a parking area to the Lambert Tower.

Basically it is what it is a tower on a hill made of stone. I had to see this place their is nothing like this in Florida and you really learn to appreciate such a place when you realize that it had to be made with someone's hands not machinery.

I looked inside the doorways to the tower it was dark and felt dismal. I got pretty wet from the rain cause I was out in the open taking photos. I noticed a wood doorway below with a hole in it which Adam told me he put the hole in their last year ago while trying to get inside. He also told me their was tunnels behind the door.

I did climb around on some rocks to the upper tower door and seen a rusted stairwell inside. All the doors were securely locked even if inside I would not trust the stairwell up. But as far as ghost being here I have no doubts I have heard this tower is very haunted so a visit to it was an honor.

We got back in the truck I blasted the heat and we stopped at the overlooks I took a nice photo overlooking the town below then I dropped Kristina off in town and we decided to head on off to the Pyramid Mountains.
