We had two places planned for the night the second fell through it happens. I was pretty excited about this investigation as I was finally getting well from that infection I had back in Feb. 2007 just got back from NJ was getting strength back being bed ridden for so long. So to get out in the woods hike around was more of a treat for me then an investigation.

Jason and I arrived here we parked stopped at the hunting station a place where you can hang your deer from, weight them, measure them etc. The booth had some pamphlets, an archery target, chair and some animal bones. We had our fun then decided to hike up the road maybe take a few trails.

We found a bone further up the road there was some very big cold spots cannot speculate if it was elevation change. The area had a cross road we did not take it but we found a little path to a huge open area with a tractor, pond, mound of dirt, pipes and other materials. It appears that more farms or other recreational areas are being built up here. Jason played on the mound I threw rocks across the pond.

We went further up took a cross road to our right ending up near a garage, trailer, stable and some operation. We had to get out fast there was trucks parked in front of the trailer and I put my light on it real quick to scope the area out for our safety. We scurried out fast had no hiding place as the road had now fences from the ranch on both sides so I thought hey if they get in there truck we have nowhere to lay low.

We eventually came to a very heavy wooded area full of tall close trees on both sides of the road. I heard some movement but for the most part I just felt watched. You talk about spooky this place would just about make anybody run. We were miles from the truck and I felt cold here constantly.

Other then that the area was fairly peaceful not alot of activity I had to take alot of breaks the infection had weakened me previously to a point where even walking was a task for me. Jason asked if I was okay as I was out of breath and hunched over. It was a rough hard hike for me but I needed the challenge to rebuild my strength.

I have always liked this area lots of trails, woods, and archaeological history only difference is this time we were near Lake Dexter not Lake George. We eventually made it back to the hunting station where I read stats about how many deer are in the area how many were caught largest size etc despite the animal chart we seen not a single animal and we were on foot for miles how strange is that?

Nothing too paranormal but another great PGS woods hike you cant expose bigfoot if you don't look for him.
