Lake Como Pomona Park Cemetery

We encountered more dirt roads trying to find this place and it was funny cause I pulled in this one area in the woods which had a concrete wall and wrought iron gates. When I got deeper in I realized this was not the cemetery but someone's house lol. Nothing is ever where it is supposed to be it seems.

We were all pretty tired from hiking and I took a gamble and went further down this road where we found the cemetery. It was in an area with a few ranches but for the most part the area was nestled in a quiet area.

There were dogs barking off in the distance seems like we just cannot escape barking lately. Jason was fast asleep in the truck so we took on off to get the investigation done.

Right away you could tell this place was historical. Keep in mind it was abandoned and neglected for the longest time so a lot of graves were in poor shape.

We walked on up to a wall with a family plot inside. The one grave was inches from the wall yet there was a lot of room available within the walls.

I took some EMF readings nothing exciting at this point but it was pretty spooky here. The cemetery was extra dark and some of the stones were just little stumps. I noticed a lot of the graves were broken and some stones were just piled on top of eachother.

I heard some banging noises come from the truck but I also heard some banging sounds within the cemetery. I also heard movement just 15 feet away from me sounded like something dragging its legs.

But despite all the sounds and feelings of being watched I thought this was a pretty tame cemetery. The water pump shed was brand new here and it was well maintained just very aged is all.

We found a lot of veterans buried here and the strange gravestone was this upside down cross. We had to walk past it at least 3 times to study it seriously cause I never seen anything like this in a cemetery before.

The dogs nearby were getting worst so we split no chance of even trying to get EVP with all the barking.

In conclusion to the investigation it turned out to be a really good night the rain stopped by our last place. We did not get home till the sun was up but it was well worthwhile we covered a couple large scaled places one of them rumored to be haunted and the others with a lot of history to them.

It was great having Andrew come on out again he is use to 10 mile jogs with 110 pounds on his back so he really enjoyed this investigation. It was really his first time experiencing some new things. He even found a badge at the Citrus Plant as a souvenir.

I do not think we had a lot of activity excessively but the night was very adventurous and was a great opener for the month of December.
Lord Rick
