The Las Vegas Old Mormon Fort

This place is very historical glad that I got the opportunity to visit this site. It is supposedly the first structure perhaps settlement in Las Vegas. I am so glad that I was able to check the place out. I did not want to have to park my car in an alley but I did go Subaru. I am surprised it made it to the fort after my freaking dune buggy ride out in the desert hair blowing.....and lost in the desert haha or trying to get lost hmmm not sure which one.

Anyhow I was reading some of the plaques out front about the fort just chilling took a photo of the neon dinosaur. I had nobody to take my photo I cant prove I was there now lol ha ha just kidding I have a timer on my camera ill hang the thing from the ceiling just to show I was at a certain place.

To my right was a garden growing how about that right in the desert. The moon was very bright wish I had that light in the canyon. But it lit the fort up nicely. There was also another structure on the grounds like an old school I think it was.  I sensed a lot of energy here most forts are just that way. I felt a little watched from the tower....and the windows of the school house.

I did this place more for its significance because its different and much older. Not much stands here I was shocked when I walked up to it and it was just two long walls. The doors were open...and well all I had to do was walk around so basically I sat down on the concrete slab was a little let down and that was it the pipe came out I toked. If you want to know why I mention these things its because our radio show educates people on cannabis so you know ahead of time.

  I was busy sitting down running my recorder for EVP... I ended up leaving it awhile to visit this little stream. Something big was moving in the bushes....then a fish jumped out. There was a lot of brush surrounding this pond/stream and trees. I walked up to the sounds and nothing was there. I felt like somebody or something was in the brush. I cannot explain it but its like this a ghost will sit down and stare at you inches from your face and you wont know it. Well I know it I felt something at this fort. I spent my time here taking readings, photos etc I pulled out a good investigation of it.

Anyhow the tower to the fort was locked which was a downer its like a half ass exploration of something. I was looking out the tower wall windows....looking at cars...people walking by...it was a cool place its just another fort to add to my belt visited. This one was like a stone slab with a wall I was like thinking I was at the Alamo just kidding! On my way out I went into the garden and helped myself to some fresh vegetables afterall my 3 sons eat more then I do lol...ha ha ha got you man the corn ears were so small it wouldn't even feed my cat sneezer.

Anyhow I took on off to go to my final destination of the night and when I arrived it was just a dirt field. Their was a warehouse next to it crews working outside and so I had to ditch the last place. Its ashamed but it looks like they demolished the oldest ranch in Vegas to.

I started to head home the mountains were visible made it in by sun up. I was so freaking thirsty could not wait to drink the purified water here at the house. I need a freaking camel to carry around with me on my investigations.

I had a great night and this will get me ready for future investigations around the Vegas area. My son asked me why dad didn't you wear jeans knowing there are rattle snakes out in the desert. Hell I laughed cause I was like a big kid sliding down slopes...see my shoes are so worn from being homeless in Jackson CA that I pretty much walked last night barefoot in the desert no lie no traction.

Its funny how every investigation is different. One place you feel very unwanted...while another place you sit back smoke not even think twice. I sometimes do not know the ghost I capture till I review the photos or voice recordings. In a couple weeks we have a few more places the investigations will get harder from here and up for awhile. We will be visiting places like the Valley Of Fire....Ghost Towns....Mines etc and that leads me to say I am sorry for not updating the site I know I still got the Savannah trip photos to add, cedar key and a couple places from CA.

Once I get cedar key finished I will do the rest of the updates one investigation at a time so i do not get overwhelmed. I would like to put together a more solid team unfortunately its hard to get others who are into adventuring looking for the paranormal. I was hoping for more shows it was a lot of fun. Everything I do just trains me for what not to do or that should be done. The downside to things is I did need more people I am glad I been working out cause I got a lot of extensive hikes and caves in the near future.

This week I will start to slowly add my recent adventures. I will do one here and there to make it more exciting till I get all the investigations added at www.paranormalghostsociety.org 

 I came home slept maybe an hour then got up to do another exploration of Mt. Charleston. I am going to add this piece of my life to the site. Mt. Charleston will be a place we will visit at some point at night so I went up there today to take more photos.  Its just been one hell of a 24 hours for me. 

Speaking of one hell of a day we are going to have one very explosive new episode. That is right I am doing another radio show this week so make sure you tune in cause I will be discussing this trip I just took live. Anyhow I give to you Mt. Charleston.
