The National Hotel is more like the adventures of Lord Rick not in Kansas anymore sort of deal. I spent numerous nights in the hotel and partying here. Not much to do in Jackson CA but the National well that is open almost all the time every day of the year. Its home to the Skeleton Crew Motorcycle Club which one of the guys chased me down a hall once and another time I met the vice president having a brew with him. I made alot of friends while spending time at the National for example one night the biker girls gave my sons chocolate chip cookies....just as I use to chill with the DJ Gavin and his girlfriend who was a bartender.

The National is not just historic its one of the most haunted hotels and taverns in central California. One night while sitting on a sofa upstairs stoned.....drinking beer....one of the bartenders told me 33 ghost haunt this hotel. I actually stayed in at least 4 different rooms here. Almost every room is different for example one room might have a shower while another room may not. Just as one room might be set up with a nice canopy bed while another room might just be a small sink and bed.

During my stay at the National it was an adventure every single night. For example one night I sat out watched a prostitute go in a room do some guy it was loud it was nasty then she turned around and tried to hang out with me. Just as one night I sat out to smoke a cigar and some girl begged me to buy her a beer. When I did she stole the money and ran off with some other guy. So I chased them down and the guy gave me the money back she stole. I noticed on a few occasions alot of girls that partied here were cracked out crazy shit man. Not sure if its because of the boredom or what.

Most people who get rooms here are locals so they do not have to drive drunk in the mountains. I myself was homeless so getting a room for 40 dollars or 60 dollars was alot cheaper then the best western. Never go to the Best Western in Jackson the manager is named John he lies about the prices and the guy only cares about money rather then long-term customers. I know I spent at least 30 days almost at the Best Western and in the end when I was on the streets I was told that the highest bidder would get the last room they had after I was a loyal customer. So John go fuck yourself compliments of Lord Rick guarantee you that people will chose the National over you after reading my site.

The National is the party spot in Jackson its really not much more of a party spot then the bars on Main Street but if you like history, hauntings, good music by DJ Gavin then this is the place.  Fridays and Saturdays are really busy they turn the place into a little night club things get crazy. How Crazy? Well I was on the porch of the National smoking a cigar when a girl stood in front of me took off her clothes and rubbed her boobs on me thats how crazy. Eventually the cops seen her streaking and arrested her. Of course it took 8 cop cars the first time and they let it go then when it happened again later that night one of the older guys caught her in the act threw her in the car nude and everything.

I must say that I probably could type 10 different reports on this location since I spent many nights in this haunted place. I have heard creaks, foot steps, furniture being moved, doors opening, even a fire escape door opened with a very deadly fall one night. I actually did not take hardly any photos here I figured I would come back with a team and take my time working with the Haunting's here and instead I ended up going to Las Vegas. 

My friend had a room spent the night here to and felt watched. He told me something was messing with him all night long. The walls are thin here so alot of things go on that you should not hear. For example I seen a fat guy wtih side burns who got a young girl drunk. Well his friend toked up with me then he had her laid out on the bed said this is my wife and I want to hit it and go before she wakes up. In reality he was just a pig date raping the girl. My friend chickened out I wanted to beat the guy and its the truth. I could hear this guy next door having sex then he was back downstairs picking up on another girl which in turn he brought a hooker upstairs to try to do her and she refused. When the drunk girl woke up there was a huge fight I could hear things banging I was like man just small town drama ya know?

There was an older lady with long gray hair she was always rude to me for example one time she was drunk got a huge attitude with me. Another time she refused me service because they only have a 3 day policy unless the owner approves or manager rather. I thought to myself lets see you have no customers during the week and dozens of empty rooms yet you refuse my business? I got of course yelled at my final day here when sneezer peaked his head out of my backpack and the lady was like no pets. Yet one of the locals brings his two big dogs to roam around the bar sometimes its like ummm okay and...?

Many nights I spent here I spent out walking around the hotel up and down the stairs looking for ghost. Some rooms had no air which in my opinion to charge so much extra just for a little window cooler is ridiculous especially as hot as it gets in Ca. So I stayed alot of the times out of my room sitting on sofas...admiring all the antiques....sitting on the porch etc.

I always wanted to stay in the John Wayne and Bordello Room never got around to it. One night a cute blonde was flirting all night with me if I was less of a gentlemen I probably could have gotten a tour of the bed in the John Wayne Room serious cause she was coming onto me hard and I was just that the nice guy now I kick myself in the ass cause man I love sweet little blondes YUMM sorry but it has to be said. 

I think this place serves more as a great way to people watch for example I seen a set of cheaters one night get a room. The woman the next morning thought I worked there and asked me where the bathroom is. I mean its just a crazy place I started to gather that the place serves to sever the boredom around Jackson lol.

I met alot of people up here though like one night two guys from Sacramento I hung out with they were cool just passing through stopped for a beer they didn't even really finish. They were kind of scared they were like yo Rick what kind of hillbilly place is this? I mean it is what it is ya know....and so you have to be really bias with the location between its haunts and drama. 

I never liked how others just stared at me when staying here and at times you would have to help yourself to a towel just to dry off after a shower but we will not get into that lol. Like I said the adventures of Lord Rick at the national hotel. I would stay here again though the place has a very old west type of feeling at one time it was sort of a whore house and each ghost comes with a story only if I could remember the stories lol.
