Glenhaven Memorial Cemetery

We were driving all around to find this cemetery and again this was another burial ground down some of the brick roads. Some of the houses were gorgeous with their big columns and tall steeple roofs. It was like a ghost town nobody was out and I dropped Jason off and he found this wood fence which was the back side of the cemetery.

So after driving around we found the main entrance which was fairly well hidden but we found it. As we entered the giant entrance with a statue it felt really gloomy here. The road split in two different directions and there was a veterans monument.

We drove all the way to the back and parked where there were hundreds of flat stones. We seen off in the distance this giant arch with a huge cross towering in the middle of it. We also seen some giant sculptures around the cemetery.

This was a really giant place the one thing though it lacked was trees. There was perhaps a few really old trees but the moon illuminated the cemetery so we really did not even need a flashlight here.

We walked up to the cross and climbed these stairs which led us to this upper terrace were there was many graves on. It was basically a separated area on a hill. We also found this mausoleum where you go down underground and that area seemed really cold. I felt as if something was watching us here. Jason got really created and climbed on top of the high wall posing near some bronze statues.

Ariel mentioned how some of the spots here were very cold. This really was a well kept place there was walkways to bird baths and monuments. We made it to the front and took a photo of the entrance.

Then we made our way up to this Jesus statue on some giant pillars. We really did not find the cemetery very active which is fine some places are haunted some are not. But we covered a lot of areas.

Eventually I took us back to this giant mausoleum and Jason gave me a boost on top where I could get a close up photo of this statue. Eventually I jumped down which killed me but I lived lol and we visited the eerie mausoleums to the very back which had many photos of the deceased.

That area I felt a strong ghostly presence and I ended up finding a trail off in the woods so I took us on it. That was pretty eerie heard some movement back here and ended up stepping in this deep hole and went flying.

We came to a clearing which looked like work was being done to make this another part of the cemetery. It was real dark back here but no activity really. Eventually we left and to our conclusion this was a real serene place but then again its a newer place and of course a very pure place unlike some of the burial grounds we visit. We then took a break and headed on off to the Dinky Dock At Rollins College.
