Saturday was a real small investigation as we headed on up to New Smyrna Beach for some historical investigations. It always is nice visited the beach side around here so much history behind these places and ghost stories.

We visited four locations none of them terribly active but we still had fun and got to see a lot as we toured the area. We visited Glencoe-Geiger Cemetery, Detwiler Cemetery & Park, Flagler Ave, and Christmas Park.

It was a real nice evening clear skies, full moon, and little breeze. It was Easter weekend so I wanted to plan an investigation that was more like a ghost walk. I just wished more would have came out for the fun. It was a night perfect for an investigation and so our adventure begins here.

Glencoe-Geiger Cemetery

I would have to say out of all the investigations Saturday this place was the spookiest. We jumped right into the water head first. We pulled down a very woodsy rural road which nearby led us into the cemetery.

It was very dark out here with very little lights except the one or two that were dimly lit in the cemetery.

Right away I could tell this was an all black cemetery and very old based on the condition of the many upper burials here. We parked and walked towards the lit area first to get our bearings.

Ariel and I felt extremely watched here. The cemetery was surrounded on three sides by forest. It was not a very friendly place lots of high weeds all around, broken trees, holes in the ground, etc

One of the roads I took I found a bunch of crush shells meaning that this site could have at one time been Indian burial ground. I am not sure but I found it to be weird cause some oyster shells were almost in tact and they were on a mound and dirt road towards the back.

While walking around we found two major cold spots particularly in the much older sections of the cemetery. One of the graves almost exposed a coffin as the lid of the upper burial was crumbling apart.

Ariel and I took our time taking photos and most of the graves were illegible or weathered limestone. My impression was that there were a few ghost hiding and watching us cause there was a real get out or uncomfortable feeling surrounding this dismal place.

Other then that all was peaceful I heard something move in the woods once and many of the graves were spread out over an open area. We then wrapped up and headed on off to Detwiler Cemetery.
