Edgewood Cemetery/Greenwood Cemetery

I was amazed at the size of this cemetery. I mean many roads went off in different directions. It was pretty dark out no moon really so we had to find our way around here.

We took the road which ran up the center of the graveyard then I veered off to a small woodsy section to the right where their appeared to be some graves from the 1800s. I mainly was interested in the older sections of the cemetery.

I stayed ahead of everybody I kept feeling as if something here was trying to lead me around. Sometimes when I investigate I get drawn by energies or psychic pulls. I did not see the plantation graves although their were a few old family plots around here.

The one thing that I kept hearing the whole time walking around was a rustling sound. I kept hearing this on occasion as if something was moving around. I even heard something run from left to right out in front. Sure their are animals but these were pretty heavy.

I also heard a girl crying in the cemetery. This seemed to happen on two occasions. Aaron recognized it when walking with me. The cemetery was fairly active in various sections.

We walked up to the other main entrance and they had a veterans area but the sprinklers were going haywire so I was dodging them running under them just to take photos it was like being in a water war. It was fun though and I did get the photos I wanted.

One thing that became apparent was that different cemeteries sections were of different religion. Like the catholic section had some old stones mixed in with new ones. The segregation here was obvious in many areas except for the age of the stones.

We approached this one hill and I walked down it their was a gazebo probably for funeral services. Then Aaron and I got ahead of the group and started to head back to the car. Dogs in the area were going crazy and it was time to go so that things could settle down a little bit.

But for the oldest cemetery in Apopka this place definitely was well worth the visit. We then finished off the night with Apopka City Park.
