Tonight was a gorgeous night for an investigation as it was much cooler and a light breeze so I wanted to set off and investigate one of my favorite looking buildings in downtown DeLand. The only obstacle I had to worry about is that the police station was just a parking lot away so yes there are downsides such as not being able to take alot of photos. But it was a very relaxing night and we will return to do our wrap up probably sometime in December. Anyhow I had a nice steak for dinner then set off to DeLand City Hall.

I started off by walking towards the front of the building. This truly is an amazing building and my first visit here I always felt a ghostly energy here more inside then outside. However my goal was to capture anything ghostly watching me out the windows so lets hope I succeeded.

I did one walk around took some EMF readings it was very peaceful although on the patio deck side I felt something just staring at me out the window. Same feeling I had gotten when I visited before. The windows here are very dark and I noticed two different entrances into the basement here. The emergency escape stairwell was pulled up so I could not go on the upper balcony which surrounds most of City Hall.

I did walk around about 6 times took my time which is very important when investigating such a place. I noticed in both basements there were sand bags against the doors kind of odd really. I also thought that in one of the windows something moved which was odd I took a second glance something caught the corner of my eye.

Eventually about my third time walking around I heard movement about 5 feet away it sounded like a bang near the wall and it was behind me. Moments later on the opposite side I heard a branch snap near by. I believe that something was following me at this point which is quite common with most ghost on investigations.

At this point a cop drove past me three times I know he thought about stopping so it was time to wrap up the investigation. Plus a misty rain was falling it felt good but it was my sign to go home lol.  I took some photos behind me then a car came speeding from behind the building I was like oh boy here we go but it turned out to be someone dropping off there water payment in the drop box. 

I wrapped up the investigation and will definitely return once to get some daytime photos and another time to capture some most supernatural phenomena. It turned out to be a nice investigation and hopefully will get more on this old historical building over time as many prominent people in Deland's history have visited here.
