Tonight was a very clear night with a partial bright moon out which really helped me out. Since if you ever been to Florida you will understand many streets are pitch black just as well as some of the cemeteries. Tonight was a rather peaceful investigation as I traveled to 2 destinations both of them perhaps are eerie in there own ways  One of them tonight was more active then the other but equally I felt they both deserved an opening investigation as I will return in the future of course like most places I visit. I visited tonight the DeLand Memorial Gardens and Beresford Cemetery. I figured with Memorial Day here the Veterans cemetery would have heightened activity. I left of course at night it was quite humid out grrrrrr these are times when you miss a NY winters night that way you do not sweat bullets to much but I headed out with ease as downtown was a ghost town which is not unusual on a Sunday evening and that means of course less boys in blue and so my adventure begins here.

DeLand Memorial Gardens

I started to get a little worried going up here simply because I ran out of sidewalk down this dark wooded road which on one side there was a gulf course other much foliage. But roads and me just do not mix so upon seeing the cemetery I did not hesitate but to ride my bike right on the grass past flat stones. I ended up right in the beginning photographing one of the prettiest stones here as it was very close to the road.

I then headed down a steep road taking me much deeper into the cemetery. I was quite surprised at the many oak trees as well as giant willows which really darkened some of the cemeteries edges. It was quite apparent the deeper I went in was the more watched that I felt. The map does no justice as this place is much larger then what is in black and white. Off in the distance you could hear a dog as there are houses in the area.

I veered off to the left when I reached the bottom of the slope leaning the bike on a giant memorial. Then I walked around it. Definitely it was cold in this area off and on and I did get some brief EMF readings like something whizzed past me. I was amazed at the 100s of  American flags that were visible for quite a distance. I could not help noticing the sound of footsteps near me or rather as I road my bike on the grass in the woods I could hear something chasing my bike shuffling sounds were apparent on the grass.

Everything also was fairly brand new it seemed nothing was dirty, worn, cracked, broken, all the flowers were fresh even the air smelled like being in a country field. I road my bike way off the road was riding on the grass in some very dark areas and ended up walking around a giant series of rocks, pond, and garden type of scene. It was gorgeous I nearly stepped on a frog and it croaked just about from underneath me I tell you I jumped almost off that bike because you just do not expect to hear a croak come from under you. I did feel that something was standing on the mound of rocks peering at me. I felt very uncomfortable here perhaps the energy was much stronger. But this was also almost the very back of the cemetery.

After this I headed down passing a few crypts near the main loop in the cemetery. I even visited one of the chapel areas which was all lit up I shined my light inside and of course funerals were held here or services so you know that something was inside there just watching me from the other end of the looking glass. My batteries became very drained in this area.  I ended up heading back up the road to the halfway point in the cemetery.

I took a walkway surrounding by walls, a couple mausoleums, gardens, flags, family plots, Etc., it was like being in a court yard or a maze. As many different walkways led to different walls and stones. It had a very eerie feeling as no matter where I looked I was surrounded by high walls with soldiers names with twist and turns. I took a path that led to the only statue in the cemetery.

Upon working my way to the statue I heard that of a girl scream it was fairly close perhaps towards the front of the cemetery but it was definitely inside the memorial gardens with me. I then headed back towards the front. When I reached the main entrance there was a loud bang or more like a crashing sound this was no more then 100 feet from me. Strange enough I thought it came from the main office but it came from the road in front of the cemeteries main entrance or perhaps the woods across from me. As if something was trying to scare me out of there this is where things became quite active also where I heard the woman scream near.

I finished taking photos of the main entrance despite the loud noise I kept on and from inside the cemetery near the main office I heard the loud snap of some twigs it seemed to me like something was either curious about what I was doing but I felt more uncomfortable at the main entrance then deep in the darkest areas of the Memorial Gardens. I then headed out to my second destination which was Beresford Cemetery.
