For me family is everything and I spent my 40th birthday with them when I arrived home from our adventures in Lassen Volcanic National Monument. My birthday lasted a week not because I am spoiled but I believe that you should celebrate each day as if it is your birthday. Therefore I went on a road trip that took me to the historic town of Susanville all the way to the top of Cinder Cone a volcano. I never know how long ill be on this earth lets face it I do allot of X-files work the same footsteps I follow others were not so lucky they vanished or ended up dead.

When I arrived home I had some really special times ill never forget. Those would include a dinner at the steak house and another dinner my family cooked which involved cake and presents. My gift wish had come true I had gotten a PS4 one of the best game systems out there and the gothic horror game called Bloodborne. But I also had gotten to lay on my back in a caldera not many can say they have done that especially in a storm. I ate also at the Lassen Ale Works sampling all sorts of brews and ate some really great food. Life is what you make of it looking back I should not even be here my brinks with death multiple times have haunts me each and every day believe me friends.

It was a great birthday filled with adventure, awesome cake, lavish meals and some really great presents. I had gotten a wicked T-shirt, cool bandana, camo pad, cargo shorts, subscription of a gaming magazine, fire ball whiskey, new wallet and so much more. It was a birthday that started in Lassen and ended at home with my family. It had to be the time of my life as I dreaded getting older it depressed me but then I thought to myself that its not how old you are its that you never stop going. I look back and think how young I was when I had gotten involved in the paranormal field. Unlike most groups I am still going climbing the highest mountain encountering aliens face to face and still chasing monsters in the woods. Nothing has changed over the years if anything I am more wiser then I was when I first opened up PGS.

I wish that my friends could have came to my party to help me celebrate it but so many of you live across the miles therefore with these photos I hope you can feel at least a part of the festivities. I have always kept The Paranormal & Ghost Society a more friendship orientated paranormal group allowing friends, family and members a chance to get involved. But also to get to know me as a person and get an inside look into my world. Everyone thinks because your the founder of one of the biggest paranormal groups and oldest ones in the country that perhaps your different then others. As you can see I am no different then perhaps you or anyone else other then by getting to know me or have an inside look into my world allows you to trust me but also trust the hard work I do in the field. The evidence any paranormal group that gets put out is only as credible as the person publicizing it true or not?

Below are the galleries to my birthday festivities after my return from Lassen. Although spending my birthday week exploring Lassen National Forest was one of the best gifts I had gotten this is more of a look inside my life and kind of gives our viewers a look at whom I am as a person. My entire life does not involve ghosts or the strange although a huge part of it I also have many other enjoyments in my life family being one of them. But I also enjoying toking, good food, strong drinks, video games, chocolate cake and being very cultural in between those times I am not chasing the unknown! Most of you live to far to hug or to drink beers together while offroading in the mountains. The least I can do is allow you to enjoy this virtual celebration and know all of you are in my thoughts.

My birthday dinner out included golden shrimp with New York steak, chicken wings, cheddar potato soup, pumpkin pie, chocolate milk shakes and mixed drinks. This was at one of my favorite historic casinos and for my birthday they gave me free money to play slots. Yes I did win a small jackpot, ate well and by the end of the night was pretty tipsy. I had good reason to celebrate with my cane and top hat after all our trip to Lassen Volcanic Monument was amazing. Sometimes you have to just be thankful you are alive and able to live life a little. I like to celebrate for the hard work we do therefore the downtime is nice when were not climbing mountains. When I am not relaxing I am off climbing mountains chasing Sasquatch or some UFO's down some lonely emigrant road. No matter what I am doing I look forward to the days we can relax and appreciate what life has to offer! Below is a look at my birthday bash with our trip to Lassen lasted for a week!

First on this page you seen my birthday dinner however the next day was spent opening my special gifts which was my PS4 system along with a Gothic Horror game called Bloodborne, Gamestop powerup card, 12 month subscription of Game Informer Magazine and a Camo Control Pad. I also had gotten to order my own special pizzas which included Spinach, oinions, black olives, mushrooms, salami, bacon and pepperoni. My main gift was the PS4 I think my family was more excited then I was then again who wouldnt be it was the game system of the year! I was just a day away from my cake and a series of more presents from my family. I had a choice could open up my personal gifts like smaller ones or I could open up my 40th birthday gifts which was the PS4 and all the accessories. Tammy and my kids wanted me to open up the major gift and open up the smaller ones with cake.

To the left below was my birthday lunch yeah I made it for myself it is broccoli cheddar rice with a garlic infused sword fish laying on top of it. To the right of it is my birthday dinner which Tammy made for me. Nothing is more kinder then having someone cook for you on your special day. I am a fairly cultural man therefore I enjoy home cooking and experiencing new dishes as well as marinades. This steak came with some fettuccine and steamed broccoli I was so stuffed I almost did not have room for the cake afterwards.

This was a peanut butter chocolate ice cream cake with a cookie on top perhaps one of the best I have ever eaten and a good excuse to hike up at Kings Canyon just a few days later to burn those calories off lol. This was the second half of my birthday which included my cake and presents as the day before I opened my special 40th bday gifts. These presents were more personal from my kids and Tammy along with a cake so it was very sentimental for me. I could never tell you what I wished for but I always dream about having a bigger family and more friends. It is family and friends that make what we do here at PGS worthwhile. I remember being a very young man when I first opened up our doors and it is true that with age comes wisdom. But also the older I get the more I learn how to enjoy life and I should considering how many times I almost met my end while working out in the field and chasing Xfiles!

Let us not forget 420 for life on my birthday I smoked a bit fat joint and smoked out of my green water pipe under my cottonwood tree. The greatest gift you can ever receive derives from nature itself. Nothing is more natural then smoking some train wreck herb on your birthday to work up a big appetite towards a juicy steak and a sinful cake!
