Fort
Christmas Historical Park
I could not wait to visit this historical site it just looked from a
distance real old since there were many old structures on the site, a fort
replica, and a giant wrought iron fence surrounding the entire area.
We were out in the woods and you could hear the owls off in the distance.
It was just a very peaceful area but things became more intense as we
hiked deeper in. You could feel the energy to this place and it seemed
like right away I could hear certain noises in the wind maybe talking,
movement, unexplained noises etc.
As we hiked in we could seen the giant wooden fort off in the distance
although it is a replica the real fort stood not to far away from the
original site. So various energies would still be present in the area.
To our right was a lot of dark woods which ran along the fort park. We
came across a structure that looked like a old wood school house. I
definitely could feel something ghostly in nature. The building was
abandoned and rotting we could not get in but I looked in a small hole and
seen an old wooden desk inside.
There were a few other structures on the site some log cabin which
appeared to be the caretakers residence. We also seen a museum or visitors
center. Most of the buildings and structures here were part of a community
a century ago so most of them were well preserved or under restoration in
the park.
We noticed off in the distance an old gated pioneer town which later will
be a separate investigations. However before entering there we stopped at
a playground which was sort of woodsy. It was real cold in this area
and off in the distance I heard a chilling scream sounded like it came
from the pioneer village nearby.
But with the wind howling and blowing a lot of odd noises were occurring
some of them were questionable. We took a break at the playground and I
road in a metal mini jeep.
Eventually we ended up visited another homestead on the property with
another stable. It was close to the road so it was not very active but we
had a look around. Ariel mentioned getting some red readings in this area.
The homestead dated back according to a historical sign to the 1800's.
There was what appeared to be a general store and a lodge of some made all
of wood. That area was very well lit and showed models/names for all the
locations in the area. There were a lot of different sites I noticed we
missed a few. The porch went all the way around this structure and there
was a sign moving real fast back and forth in the wind making creaking
sounds.
The one site that stuck out here was the fort replica. The wall alone was
almost 12 feet in height. We were not able to see over it but the fort had
these little windows and a big old wood door to get inside. It was very
intimidating even as a replica. It seemed there was a very advanced
presence that I could sense around the fort.
We also could not help hearing a dog off in the distance which kept
getting closer so our time was running out cause it was either be dog meat
or wrap up the investigation.
We eventually left the park at ease I thought to myself of how intense it
was. It was one of these places that you could feel something all around
you no matter where you turned. It was not a relaxing place to walk
around. Although we did not see any ghost here Ariel told me she could
sense a few different entities around us. She also mentioned that she felt
them keep a distance as if they were following us till we left the
historic site.
I did not get off as many photos as I wanted to since I am sure the
caretaker and firemen across the street would have been pleased. But it
was a very interesting site with a lot of little places
of significance within the
park and history.
