Tonight was a very warm, peaceful night with a golden gibbous moon that was low to the horizon very pretty actually. James and I head off fairly later then usual about 11pm and of course on our way heading up to the up to Bill Dreggors Park & Memorial Hospital the Deland Boys in blue were about to stop my son and I walking on the sidewalk as you can tell they are really pushing me to sue the department its like winning the lotto only they are helping me. However instead they went a few feet up and stopped getting out and deciding to check out a car parked so they left us alone praise the spirits.
James and I walked a good mile down some of Deland's prettiest streets with many old mansions covered in vines, palm tree yards, and some areas that are the oldest part of town it was quite a nice stroll. We did investigate tonight 3 places which were Bill Dreggors Park & Memorial Hospital, Freedom Playground & Stone Tracks all were quite
pleasant investigations not as active as previous ones but they open up a new and wonderful chapter for us visiting each one a second time in the future. We arrived at Bill Dreggors Park.
Bill Dreggors Park & Hospital Memorial
We walked up the hill Into the back of it admiring its architecture on the way. I seen a glass encased stairwell going 3 floors up I was startled due to the lifelike statues that almost looked like people on the third floor watching us. We walked around once down a very dark walkway and came out near a Gazebo. James told me he seen somebody standing there underneath
although I did not see anything there was an amazing amount of energy here.
We then headed over to Freedom Playground which is part of this park but we wanted to do a
separate investigation none the less of it so we took a half hour of our time an spent it here. Upon visiting back we again walked around the back side to some old buses parked near the memorial hospital which is today a museum.
We did not have much activity although I remember in one area near one of the entrances James and I felt a great coldness pass threw. It was like ice and much cooler in this area for some reason. At this point I knew we were not alone. But whatever it was did not seem to manifest. But what I noticed is out of dozens of photos taken near the hospital I could seen human figures in the flash consistently so something was here just not strong enough to manifest its ghostly form.
We then walked to the front looked at different memorials it was pleasant here. We found a shoe of a little girls in front on the step. As I was taking some photos the sprinklers went on where James was bending down it was odd because others did not turn on just this one they were spraying everywhere.
There was a feeling of being watched and you get that feeling from various blinds looking as iff they are peeled to the side. There are many other buildings on the property we did visit as well such as the Lemon
Room, Conrad's Toyland and we could not find the Sensory Gardens unfortunately.
One of the last things we did was came across a headstone in the back of the memorial hospital near a tree. It was quite an odd place for someone to be buried but we found it
accidentally. Moments later a car pulled in the parking lot following us with there headlights. James and I ran past some hedges, between some vehicles and came back out to the safely lit museums front. The people did leave but none the less they seemed to be interested in what we were doing. After this we headed to the Stone Tracks but before we get into that investigation while visiting Dreggors Park we made a stop at Freedom Playground!
