Subject: Last Weeks Report 3/30/2004
I really admire to the Deland Library and Artisan Restaurant & Hotel so I wanted to investigate them finally getting a chance to tonight. I had no clue that the Artisan had been investigated by other groups or they offered ghost tours but from day 1 I knew it was haunted until I researched it farther. Basically though tonight I wanted to visit here and let others know what I thought about these places which are next to one another practically. I set off around midnight and so my investigation
begins here.
The Artisan
A week before I captured an apparition here just playing around walking past it. So I knew I could turn this investigation into something stellar. I started off walking to the front it was very peaceful they were closed I did not see anything inside that would indicate anything supernatural. However when walking onto the darker side of the building I felt very watched from the windows. I proceeded to the back where again it was dimly lit and it was very cold back here again felt something back here keeping its distance which is very common whenever I visit any place a first time.
I walked around a few times I did not seem to capture very much but there was a basement stairwell I recall and that bothered me alot. If you know anything about ghost you will find most of the time they hide in all the places you least expect and to me these dark stairwell down seemed to be one of them. I took a break from investigating and went over to the library and came back here about a half hour later.
At that time I walked to the upper balcony outside and captured a child apparition standing next to me at the top of the steps. I believe this is the most talked about ghost here of a little girl. I was happy she gave me a chance to capture her. It seemed like coming back gave the entities a sense of certainty with me. However at this point I seen the cops watching me in the parking lot out back. So I had to discontinue the investigation. Fortunately enough I was able to capture the little girl right before leaving.
