Adelle House

This is a southern home I have had my eye on for a long time. More then likely it dates back to the 1800's so I knew this would make a very intense investigation. We parked the car and had to walk a little ways till we reached a nice sized hill where the house sat on. We carefully made our way to the home and walked down a concrete sidewalk and opened the back gate.

I felt something watching us as I put my face up to one of the windows. It was real dark instead and I could only see wood floors inside. We eventually went into the back door into this room which seemed to once be a kitchen based on the large stove we found inside and a pantry.

We then walked up a hall into the dining room which was very large leading into another room with giant bay windows which was the living room. We entered the living room and to our right was a den with a large fireplace. I could not help noticing the ash tray, mattress, spoon, bowl, and blood in this room.

The first streak of blood was about an inch on width and a couple feet in length. Its like someone was dragged or something. The second blood stain was near a handkerchief and it was just a giant pool. The handkerchief was dry but it looked like the entire thing was soaked. The wood on the floor was extremely stained red so it was obvious someone received heavy blood loss.

I theorized that since the glass window had a fist sized hole its more then likely someone punched the glass and probably cut there wrist. They probably were homeless staying here and perhaps broke in for a place to stay or got locked out and broke it. Either way they may have died here possibly based on the two separate stains found. Its hard to speculate but blood is not always something we see to often in houses we investigate.

We then went up this long hall near the fireplace and there was a room to the left which also had a mattress on the floor and a chair. We found two bathrooms in this room which I found to be odd. This room was mainly pink perhaps a girls room at one time or maybe even the master bedroom.

I felt odd being in this house felt like someone else was in here with us but we did not see or hear anybody. Just felt like someone was hiding and its possible with the closets and all. The halls throughout this house are unusual cause they all connect and loop around so somebody could go in circles ahead or behind us and we would not know it.

We went back out and made a left down the hall only to find another wrecked bathroom with no walls. Above us was a hatch to the attic which we pulled down. I climbed up the stairs and took a quick peak. It seemed empty upstairs but I felt really annoyed up here. Even Jason went up took a peak and climbed down quickly as I sat in the dark hall with no lights. I thought I heard footsteps but I am not sure it could have been just Jason making some noise. But it sounded like a boom boom heavy type of walking.

I felt like something was up in the attic hiding in the dark just watching both of us. My light was not bright so the attic was very dark regardless of the lighting we had. We did close up the hatch and went for one last little walkthrough where we found some fire pokers and even a screw driver stuck in a wall. It was apparent that the house was being restored when we found sheets of drywall. I am really glad that the house will be restored this was a nice four bedroom historic home.

As we went back outside we found a camper hard to say if anybody was sleeping inside so we turned away from it and the garage. We walked back around to the front of the house past some giant citrus trees where some railings were missing on the porch. There was a giant desk on the porch and a sign posted about it being condemned currently by the city.

I took some photos of the perimeter and there was some activity out front which is unusual cause the backyard was dead literally. But it was an interesting little tour and we wrapped up the night and our investigation.

In conclusion to last nights investigation I want to add that investigating houses can be very dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. Let me explain something to most of our younger crowds who are avid urban explorers. Safety is a priority what we do here is based on years of experience not just with entities but with our surroundings.

Going into demolished homes can be deadly as you have weak floors, nails sticking up, debris that can fall on you, and sometimes no stairwell railings which can lead to a deadly fall. There is an old saying that some say that the house is out to get you and that might be true if the house your investigating is unsafe.

More or less then you have the other factors to take into consideration like do the living hide inside of the house such as homeless people, cults, felons hiding out etc so you do have to be careful especially in a case where you found fairly fresh blood by a mattress. Although the night was serene and quiet it does not mean the ghost were not there waiting, watching, generating energy etc. Each house I sensed at least one presence at.

All three homes were fairly old and unique in there own ways all the way from activity to friendliness. Some places are meant to be left alone while other places are so meant to be researched before they once are no more so its always best to use good judgment when dealing with such structures. So in closing our haunted house night was a huge success unfortunately I wish we would have taken some EVP but other then that I am sure we will turn up some good photos.
