I wanted to get this report out as soon as I could to our
fans...members...and others who showed support for last nights haunted
adventure...everything from the new investigators to those who helped me
with the research...to even those that referred us to a couple of these
places. This was one of the biggest team effort investigations I have ever
done in Florida as far as the amount of involvement that came from various
sources.
Last night we visited 5 locations so we had enough haunted places to keep
everybody busy the entire evening. As you know I am moving out west in a
few more months so at this point I am trying to wrap up Florida...make a
few new friends...and leave on a positive note. They always say quit why
your ahead and over the last 4 years of doing my work down here the one
thing that has been good to me is the paranormal.
The amount of evidence collected from our trip last night is amazing...we
took EVP, Photos, Video Footage, EMF Readings etc etc I have not had a
full team in awhile so it was nice to see that everybody helped out and
put some heart into investigating each place.
Sometimes you never know what to expect when you walk into a place you do
not know if its haunted. if you will see something...if there are crazies
hiding out....or whatever. I have heard cases where people go in some
places and do not come out it happens and this is what I live for. The
more you see the more you want to do.
The places we visited last night were various which were the Earlwood
House, Lake Ola House, Orange Blossom House, Tangerine Cemetery, &
Zellwood Evergreen Cemetery. The first couple houses I was given
information on from Nomeus who owns Flurbex (www.flurbex.com)which is an awesome urban
exploration group in FL. So I wanted to thank him and for his help I will
put up a link later this week on our site in the hotlinks area and
investigation page so others can sign up.
That is all its about is helping one another out and lately I have found
friends in a few urban explorers so despite all the ones in the last year
that have made hate sites about us it turns out that there are also some
very good ones who are pretty cool. So a big thanks to Jason for passing
this information on to us he was right about the houses totally awesome
places!
I spent the day diving for sand dollars at Ponce Inlet the waves were
pretty intense and I was out there all day swimming way out in the ocean.
So by the time I had gotten sunburn....swallowed enough salt water...ate a
bucket of pop eyes chicken....printed the forms...and gathered the
equipment it was time for me to head out of town. The only thing I wished
is that I had others to come along for the ride. I always hate driving
alone because its just so boring besides the fact my car stereo is not
hooked up which means no cool tunes to pass the time.
I headed on off packed actually a cooler full of food and drinks cause it
was going to be a long night. I was so tired from going out to the ocean
almost been up for 24 hours and sunburned that I figured eating junk food
would keep me going. Trust me food is my best friend lol I tend to do a
lot better eating before an investigation since a lot of times the ghost
really can feel very draining. Besides my grandmother always use to say
eat it could be your last meal so rather then die and starve I thought Ill
eat and then die lol.
Normally for my investigation I have everybody meet here but since
everybody was closer to Mt. Dora and Tangerine I had us all meet at this
Mc Donald's. Mt. Dora is one of my favorite towns in all of FL oh man I
love it there its all historical....most of the women are very pretty
southern girls....lots of Haunting's...and the town sits at a higher
elevation then any town in FL. The crescent moon was out it was just a
perfect night and the journey had not even started yet.
Walking in there I thought to myself this place looks like a romantic 5
star restaurant. This was the only Mc Donald's I ever been that had class
to it everything from the tables...to chairs...to dim little lights above
each table etc man if I ever find a girlfriend here in FL before I move or
a date I am taking her there hahahahaha think about it 99 cent double
cheeseburger YOU CANT GO WRONG lol! Hell if she gets really lucky Ill give
her a happy meal with toy included!
Anyway's I walk in there I order a hot fudge sundae and a large coffee. I
put about 15 sugars in the coffee it still tasted like Shi$ but if you
know anything about real ghostbusters coffee, junk food, sweets etc are
the food of choice. Being that your up wandering in the night you have to
keep going. Ahead of me was Kiska and her BF they left they didn't even
recognize me lol.
I sat down....then said oh crap left the camera in the car so ran out to
get that was going to get a team shot in Mc Donald's when everybody
arrived. Then Kiska's man said with my back turned hey are you Rick I was
like surprised I wouldn't have known lol. So we all went in to sit down
and talk. Kiska asked me a million questions about the house but honestly
a lot of places I go I know nothing about I like to be surprised draw my
own conclusions cause you could hear stories all you want but what matters
is the experience.
Kiska asked me if I smoked Ciggs I told her no and she was like what are
you a nerd. I was like I smoke herb....do magick shrooms....etc etc
besides all the little sinister things I have done nobody knows about
ha...and she was like oh lol. She wanted to know if I drank and I wont
drink and drive that's my policy. If I do a hiking trail sometimes Ill
have a beer but just to drink for the thrills does nothing for me. Lord
Rick is just Lord Rick I enjoy being me and it shows in the work that I do
its like an art what we do here there is a certain beauty to it all and to
be able to share that with the fans...members etc is what makes me happy!
So after she borrowed the managers pen to fill out the emergency
form....then Jim and Tammy showed up. They run there own group called
Ghost Chasers based in Pasco County FL I am sure some of you have heard of
them. There a great group and I have to say out of all the people who ever
have done this with me they really have passion for the paranormal much
like PGS does. They had the shirts, hats, & some pretty cool equipment
also for this investigation. So that definitely helped the entire
investigation last night. They will also be helping me out till I move out
of Florida so will continue to roam the night every couple of weeks so
that we can share the evidence in the paranormal community. I wanted to
thank Rhonda on myspace for introducing me to them. I always use myspace
as a way to make friends and get others involved with the group and this
time it paid off cause she read my bulletin and was able to tell them
about me so it worked out really well.
We left and showed up at Desiree's house she was going to have me follow
her to her moms house which is haunted. Desiree's man was a pretty cool
guy he smoked me out and in my book anybody who tokes up has got to be a
cool person. So they made me feel right at home after that I felt pretty
comfortable the rest of the night. He told me also about the house on
there property and I thought well why not check that out later on that
night so I added a 3rd house onto the night why not right? The more ghost
the merrier and Ill never pass up an abandoned eerie house.
I will be doing a special radio show tonight or tomorrow about the
investigation so state tuned as I will announce it to our
forums....members...and fans. Its going to be an awesome show tonight so
tune on in.
Anyway's the investigation was about to kick into gear...there was
lightening in the skies....and a bad storm was coming in fast. I do not
think I could have asked for a better night everything almost was perfect
maybe even more then perfect and so our stellar investigation begins here!
The Earlwood House
When we arrived instantly I felt a dismal feeling. Everybody got ahead of
me and were already in the house I had taken my time just to absorb
everything. The area the house is located is a little historical town with
a few lakes and woods surrounding it. I could feel just a gloomy feeling
its obvious this is an old area and some energy is present.
I walked into the house talked to the owner a little bit she told me a lot
of pretty interesting occurrences that have happened to her within the
home. Some of them I tried to use during the investigation. The team split
apart taking readings...photos etc I was the first one to go upstairs the
owner let me go up alone and bam I felt something right away. I been doing
this for a long time hairs stood up on my arm and I turned off my light
stood in the dark. I did not even know where I was going just stood
upstairs in a dark room lol.
Something was in the room with me and when the rest of the team came up I
felt it starting to dissipate. Kiska and her BF Rick set up a camera the
batteries died within a few minutes so I had them plug that into the wall
and they left it on record. There was a little secret passage which was
the attic but it had a couple narrow halls. We all took turns going in
there I went in alone and I did not like what I felt. It felt like when
you challenge a bull and slap it on the ass. I felt something at the end
of the hall looking at me and me looking at it waiting to see who would
make the first move.
We did manage to get some EMF readings upstairs which were sporadic which
means something was moving around. I sensed something touch my legs near
the upstairs bathroom when I stood there alone for awhile. I am not sure
if something was being playful maybe a child's ghost or something.
Out the window I could see the other house across the yard which was
historical old and abandoned. I felt a connection or similar energies
between the two. Not sure if perhaps the property is haunted or the house
itself.
I walked back downstairs and past one of the rooms. The door was cracked a
little bit and I looked in. I seen the silhouette of a ghost standing in
the corning just staring at me. I do not see to many ghost but this one
wanted to let me see it. For whatever reason it was I felt the ghost came
down stairs to hide from everybody upstairs. That room was colder then the
rest also I noticed despite the air running it was the only room that was
like ice.
The owner showed me an EVP and told me a few stories about the narrow
stairwell. We did focus a lot of the investigation on that area. We also
worked a little bit outside and when I went out back alone I did hear
something out in the dark yard. It was movement could have been anything
but it responded to something I said. Along with that we heard what
sounded like a child's voice outside so I started to gather that its the
entire property that's haunted and the house is just in the way of it. I
had gotten some red EMF activity outside as well.
After hearing all the history and information on the house we decided to
pack in it. We will try to make a return to the home within the month so
that Jim can leave a camera rolling all night long or maybe do a sleep
over in the house. Will figure it out I felt a lot of different things
going on at once. I will have to wait on everybody else to make there
reports on this house according to there own little experiences.
In addition to that the owner told me about the area she is in and its
long history. So today I went and researched more about its dark history.
It turns out that she was very accurate about a lot of the things she
shared with the team. So all that history I will be putting up on the site
related with this house and the other house near her property.
The owner also told me about the area she lived in and about how something
around the corner chased them at the dead end road. So to me it sounds
like its the entire area and I bet you a lot of them houses are having
paranormal activity. We took a few hundred photos. EVP, and live video
footage all of it will take sometime but it will be on our site just with
anything that we venture into. Afterwards we headed on off to our next
location which was next to the house called the Lake Ola House which is a
couple blocks away from this lake which at one time was inhabited by the
native American people.

Jim and Tammy went to an investigation that Rick
arranged in Mount Dora. The first house, we encounter was a two story
yellow house that has recently been renovated. The lady of the house was
kind enough to give us a tour of her place. Their family had lived there
for many years and was in the process of moving. The home has a history of
a woman wearing a light blue, silky dress nightgown with a white collar.
She walks around with a candle. Her life was supposedly ended abruptly
when she was thrown downstairs.
The owner took the five of us upstairs. She
continues to tell stories of the house. Jim and Tammy found the attic and
a small dark, creepy passage way to the other side. Jim went thru and
while he was investigating he noticed that the attic was hot, dark, and
creepy. He observed for a few moments, upon his passing thru the doorway
he captured an EVP. The spirit stated “STAY”; sounding very
demonic. He exited the attic and proceeded downstairs to the front bedroom
where he found Rick. Excited!! He had found an apparition on the
back wall. Jim proceeded to snap a few photos of the back wall, but with
no prevail, he didn’t capture anything.
Evidenced review:
1. No orbs or rods. 2. Two EVP’s (a) first one, Jim in attic-a demonic
voice saying “Stay”. (b) 2nd one,
upstairs closet is unauditable-different language.

Subject: Desiree's House
WOW!!!!! what a night we had. We also had the pleasure to have a team
from Port Richy to investigate with us. Last night was full!!! We had two
haunted houses located in a older town of Mount Dora Fl. We were greeted
by the owner. As she began to tell us about and wear the activity she and
her family experienced in the house. We could see the fear in her as she
began to talk about the second story bedrooms. One of witch her little son
slept in. A shadow figure of a man was seen. And outside one night was the
very same figure up near her sons window. There pet Dog on the first
night acted frightened and fears the stairs and refuses to go back up to
the second floor again. We also were told by her a friend of her daughters
came to stay and thought she was talking to her in one of the rooms then
shortly after came down to the kitchen and noticed and said, "How quickly
she had changed cloths".. She wasnt up stairs at the time and been in the
same cloths most of the day?? Behind there home once had a large building
that occupied mentally ill patients in the late 1800. Several nights she
or her family would hear voices or would feel as though someone was
walking behind them? Only to turn and look, but no one was there. Members
felt cold spots while heading up the side stair case . On two accounts,
Members saw a dark figure in a corner of a bedroom. She,, her self did
voice recordings. And one we could make out as saying " I LOVE YOU" in a
mans voice. The other was not clear enough to make anything out?? Objects
were said to be thrown across rooms. Because of all the family has seen
and herd. Because something or someone is haunting this house?? Nether one
feels safe alone. The family plans to sell there home.
