Many years ago back when I was starting off my life I had an SUV took a ride out near the Valley Of Fire thought wow what desolation. Back then I was very intimidated would not get out of my car kept feeling watched even at times seen glowing lights in the desert over the mountains. I started to talk to alot of people and learned that after awhile the government was cutting down on the time you are allowed to be here. But I also learned alot of horror stories about white eyes, strange glowing lights, UFO's, people being chased etc etc. The Valley Of Fire is a very mystical and relevant place just outside of Las Vegas. Their is no place like it in the world and it may even be one of the number one cliff climbing locations in the world. With all the strange red rock formations that tower in the Valley.

Its hard to believe I would revisit my past but sometimes you have to face those fears even as a paranormal investigator of the unknown. During the day the valley looks like its on fire I have yet to do a day visit so the photos I share are from others for educational use so you can see what the area looks like. Of course type in Valley Of Fire and you will see more then enough information on this location to last a lifetime its not an unpopular location.

The gray hills you see surrounding the valley are made of limestone and conglomerate. Their are supposedly caves around here I will do further research. The red rocks can be seen throughout the valley. The Valley of Fire runs along Lake mead and near the Grand Canyon. This is probably the closest some will ever get to the Grand Canyon it is just unbelievable to hike here.

The rocks were formed by the forces of wind, water and twisted by tectonic plate action. At one time an ocean put the Valley Of Fire under water. Then the water receded and the Jurassic period had began which was about 150 million years ago. It was a time dinosaurs roamed these lands including giant sloths which bones have been found in the area as well.

You can almost see the Jurassic come out in this place serious look at the photos you will understand. Since this is such a big investigation we will be returning to visit other locations. In the Valley is many stop and goes each one is significant. When the desert formed here great sand dunes which were part of an ocean floor compacted and they became sandstone.

While the groundwater flowed and carried iron oxide as well as other minerals they passed through the petrified dunes. The iron oxide, silica, lime etc made the stones look red, white, yellow, purple and even green. The water caused the rocks to break down molding unusual patterns.

Sandstone is not a hard rock so when it rains or wind blows it causes erosion and certain sculptures within the rock. When that rock erodes it causes sand to blow and form. The sand eventually forms new dunes which harden and form into various shapes. Sometimes within that rock you will see lizards, roadrunner prints and other animal imprints.

What makes the area unique is that its Nevada's Oldest State Park and covered almost 35,000 acres. It was dedicated in 1935 and sits in a basis which is about 4 by 6 miles. Its not a huge area but its big enough for the strange.

Many places exist within this valley each page we have up we will discuss those places with photos so that everybody can enjoy them. Sites like Mouse's Tank, Atlatl Rock, Petroglyph Canyon and even Petrified Forest. There are many other locations its a large place and at night driving around is even more dismal almost like you are trapped.

What alot of people do not know is that this area was inhabited by the Anasazi Indians around 300 BC to about 1150 AD. Nobody knows what happened to them they vanished. This is why I like this area cause I feel the vanishing that took place could be very paranormal and well perhaps trying to vanish here is any true paranormal investigators dream. Imagine going into this place and being TAKEN for eternity by some advanced race of aliens?

The area at one time served as a hunting and harvest ground for basket makers but the Anasazi grew very strong in the Moapa Valley nearby which is the city of Overton. We investigated the Lost City Museum there as there are some things left behind by the Anasazi tribe. The heat was bad so these tribes were seasonal of course in the winter it was very cool and much easier to survive in the Valley Of Fire.

The Anasazis built a pueblo town that was so large that it stretched for 30 plus miles. It sat on a bluff which overlooked the Valley Of Fire. The nearby river served as a farming area for the tribes as the land was fertile. Of course today that river is dried up and when the river goes so does anything living near it.

When the Anasazi vanished the Paiute and Moapa Indians moved to the area and were still here when the Spanish explored the area around 1800. Today some of those descendents still live on the nearby reservation. If you hike here you will find many canyon walls graced by Petroglyphs and paintings on the rocks. Its so amazing just to see it its the first time in my life I seen anything like this and it will be very cherished. One of the benefits of being on my team is we get to see such sites its a real treat.

Alot of people do not realize it but in alot of films you see you have seen the Valley Of Fire and did not even know. Like for example in the Movie Transformers the scene with the Autobots driving along the valley and other military vehicles at sunset. How about In Star Trek Generations where Captain Kirk fell to this death here. You can see Lake Mead in the background. In 1966 Criss Angel filmed an illusion here. There was Domino the scene where the RV crashes. The outside scenes in Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger were shot in the Valley Of Fire. Cherry 2000 uses the Beehive group camping area as the sky ranch compound of the lead antagonist. The list goes on and on. Its like I said a popular place.

The one thing you will find about this place is alot of scenic photos and history. But not alot of talk of the paranormal here. It is the type of place people are scared to go to at night. While PGS sits down drinks a beer in the middle of the Valley without even thinking twice about little green men or the fact that the Anasazi all of sudden one day vanished without a trace!
