I wanted to share this experience with my fans and members considering I seen the exhibit first hand before our Valley Of Fire Investigation. Quite odd to tour this exhibit look at all them bodies then turn around and go out into the middle of the desert. The whole purpose of the exhibit is to educate you on the human body. But it has a deeper purpose basically the exhibit is trying to show you how you can live longer by taking care of yourself for example not smoking anymore.

It is morbid to a point afterall they are live bodies most of them appear to be black perhaps even from Africa. One of the bodies you can clearly see was pretty banged up as if he died in a terrible accident. Its amazing because you get to see organs and even hold a brain. Yes I held a brain in my hand.

You have to consider that doctors...nurses and medical staff have to see what we do not see so the exhibit allows everybody to see humans from the inside out. It also in my opinion has changed how I look at the human make up. Humans are very very complicated creatures more so then most animals.

I only took a few photos and if you notice mine are from far away out of respect for the deceased. However their are a few I am sharing taken by others since its for education purposes I am posting them thus making it legal to do so.

I was so happy to see the exhibit because when I was in Florida it came to me and I never could go. But thanks to a friend and investigator here in Vegas I was able to see the exhibit. Every organ, body, bone, vein, artery, fetus etc has a description.

Some of the exhibits will make you squeamish like the body complete cut in half down the middle that is pretty extreme but the fact is this is real this is the human species dissected!

My favorite part of this exhibit was the development of an infant from embryo to full grown. It is really amazing how human life starts off as and when you leave the exhibit you really start to understand that all of us are the same inside however its the soul that defines man and his knowledge!

Bodies: The Exhibition

Roy Glover
Chief Medical Adviser and Spokesman
Wednesday, April 18, 2007; 12:00 PM

Roy Glover is the chief medical adviser and spokesman for Bodies: The Exhibition, now on display in Rosslyn. The Bodies exhibit uses human corpses, carefully dissected and preserved to help improve understanding of the body's functions. The bodies are preserved in polymer, creating a long-lasting specimen that is durable on display.

Glover, a physician, created the University of Michigan's Polymer Preservation Laboratory, one of the only labs in the world capable of provide whole, dissected, polymer-preserved bodies for medical instruction. During a 36-year career teaching at the University of Michigan, he taught courses in all the anatomical disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Roy Glover was online Wednesday, April 18, at noon ET.

Anatomy 101

By Kristine McKenzie

A sign near the entrance of Bodies...The Exhibition says "The study of human anatomy operates on the principle 'to see is to know.'" If that's true, people who see this exhibit will walk out with some major knowledge of the human body. The exhibit showcases 21 whole-body specimens as well as more than 260 organs and partial body specimens.

The exhibit, which is not for the squeamish, features real human bodies preserved through a process called polymer preservation, in which all body tissue water has been replaced with silicone rubber.

Bodies...The Exhibition is basically an educational walk through each of the major systems of the human body. Each body part is on display with an explanation of what it does and why it's so amazing. There are also numerous fun facts about the human body posted around the exhibit such as the fact that the tongue is made up of 16 individual muscles. And yes, there is a tongue on display.

The exhibit starts out with the skeletal system, showing cartilage, muscle and everything from the tiniest bones of the ear to large knee joints.

Next are the muscular and nervous systems, which features several brain specimens, including an example of a brain that has suffered a stroke. Here you'll learn that human brain activity produces enough electrical energy to power a 10-watt lightbulb.

There are 60,000 miles of blood vessels in the body and the exhibit clearly shows all of the arteries and veins in the circulatory system.

While the main purpose of Bodies...The Exhibition is to educate people about how the human body works, some of the displays also show what happens when the body doesn't work so well. The respiratory system exhibit includes lungs blackened from smoking and features a box for patrons to immediately throw away their cigarettes. In the digestive system exhibit, there is an example of cirrhosis of the liver.

Although this exhibit is definitely not for everyone, anyone interested in medicine, biology or just curious about seeing how the human body works and what's going on inside their own, will be fascinated by it.
