Last night was a nice little investigation I put together. It will be the last one till I return from NY to venture into those catacombs. Jason and I worked pretty hard at these places as we investigated Speer Park, The Celery House, & Indian Mound Village.

In my opinion I do not think these are very haunted places but two of them have some pretty in depth historical significance's. We left a little later then usual cause last night we threw a birthday party for my littlest boy.

Each place visited we sensed a strange uniqueness about. But then again every haunted location we do is special in its own way. In a few more weeks investigation are going back to code red as we will be taking on some pretty large haunted locations.

We started off with Speer Park as we headed out towards Sanford and so our adventure begins here. Before I go into the report let me first off say that we were only a few blocks away from the park and I was getting ready to go thru a green light. Well about 3 seconds before I went thru it a car going about 60 mph ran right thru the red light if for example I went 5mph faster, did not kiss my son before leaving the house, did not slow down to adjust my cd player in my truck Jason and I probably would have died tonight. So let me start off by saying what we do each week has alot of risk its not just the investigating that is risky its always the fact of getting to our destinations safely as well.

Speer Park

We entered the park without hassle and the whole neighborhood was quiet surrounding it. I was not sure what we would see or encounter being that so many houses circle the park. But the first thing that stood out was the VERY old trees which were spread around this wide area. You could tell at one point in time something use to exist here.

Since the site was that of a fort and plantation the grounds were bound to have some energy. But with all the close homes seeing something here probably would be very rare.

We walked over to the swings, past a grill, garbage and eventually to a plaque which gave the history on Fort Reed. It was a pretty interesting little read. Then we walked on over to a boulder which had a plaque about the plantation in the area.

Much of Florida are sites that forts, battles, plantations, or towns existed at one point in time. Then most of the state was rebuilt with newer structures or even playgrounds like this place. The sign for the park Jason touched and it broke in half almost not very sturdy.

We eventually walked on over to some more benches and a jungle gym the area was very well lit like daytime. There was however an area with bamboo growing and some very spooky looking trees where we both felt a presence watching.

I noticed that it was hiding from us and we did get some EMF readings other then that the park had a nice calm to it. I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that men have died in this very area. We then moved onto The Celery House.
