Well it was our last investigation before we were going to head out to the
very haunted NJ Pine Barrens. But it was also a very huge milestone
investigation in the fact that we reached our 700th investigation. When
you sit back and look at that number it truly is phenomenal since its all
our own work and journeys. It was a large investigation planned but we had
to downsize it to many run ins along the way.
Normally we do not have any problems but it seems like Orlando lately has
gotten to a point that ever cemetery or area you go people are around. It
really can hinder such excursions for us. Anyhow we ended up investigating
Pleasant Hill Cemetery and Davenport Cemetery. Ending up almost 4 counties
away from home sometimes you plan on taking it easy and the night just has
countless paths to new adventures.
Andrew and I enjoy playing football so its a tradition that we play a
little Madden before hitting up our haunted locations it helps set the
mode. Some might think hey these paranormal investigators are down right
crazy but nothing is crazy about 700 investigations its all just about
hard work and commitment.
And so our journey begins here into the more unknown parts of Orlando.
Pleasant
Hill Cemetery
Originally we had plans to do a historical park but found out later that
throughout the park was local residents and a lot of people were out.
Unfortunately we had to skip this place I was pretty upset cause the
website has all this history on it then you get their find out its like
some senior citizens community. So we moved onto Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Pleasant Hill had a giant wrought iron gate out the in the front we pulled
in. Their was a wall in the front of the cemetery and no graves towards
the front. Most of them were all in back behind the small rest room area
and chapel. Their was a giant statue of Jesus off to the side almost felt
watched from it.
Andrew went to use the rest room they did not lock them and Jason along
with I investigated the back. Their were a few cold spots nothing out of
the ordinary. The name of the cemetery gives it that old pioneer feeling.
Its just one of these places nobody really pays attention to.
In the back of the cemetery we found a small homemade coffin left in the
middle of nowhere Jason took a look at it I took some photos. Its sad
believe me cause their was dirt, it was rotted, a letter and pennies
inside. We were not trying to desecrate anything we just wanted to know
what the deal was seeing something like this not even near any stones.
I could feel a lot of energy present in the cemetery but we did not stay
long cops drove by as I just left the front to take photos not looking for
us but it told me not to over stay our welcome or Id be explaining to them
what we were visiting for.
It had an eerie feeling to it but it is what it is a pleasant place. We
then moved onto Davenport Cemetery.
