Pine Rest Pet Cemetery was incorporated in 1919  it is one of the very few Pet Cemeteries in the state of NY. There is also some human burials next to there animals.  The original cemetery was moved from Tonawanda to here in 1917. This cemetery is very well kept it is a happy place. There is no vandalism here although some stones are worn most are very nice with wreaths, flowers Ect. This place reminds me more of a park rather then a cemetery there is a Gazebo, benches all over, animal statues, pet photographs, and even a creek that runs through the middle of it. As far as it being haunted it is very possible as the cemetery is about 50 to 100 acres with many trees it is very possible that many entities enjoy there afterlife here running around the fields, climbing trees Ect. I kind of let my mind wander here just imagining ghostly kitty cats and Rover running around chasing the cat. It truly is a pretty place not much activity as far as paranormal but we did bring back a few ectoplasm shots to give you an idea of the type of entities that roam here. We wanted to investigate this cemetery because we have done so many human burial areas and this was something different as well as something the public would enjoy. Just about everybody loves animals and usually animal entities are very friendly which really can make a nice investigation.
