Subj: [ParanormalGhostSociety] Tonight's Spooky Investigation Report....   Date: 8/2/2003 1:52:37 AM Eastern Daylight Time  From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com  To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com , paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com Tonight Mark and I decided we would do a small investigation. The evening was very warm it was very calm no winds, no rain, stars out so we headed out to Pigman's Road. The history I will get into later on when we add this to our site.  I have to admit this is one of the most terrifying roads I ever investigated far worst then the Blackstone Rd or Delaware Street investigations. We headed off around the evening after playing some Frisbee, eating some Chinese food and then off to the road we ventured too.  The sun just went down behind the trees and I drove the whole length of the road. We went through the first tunnel which supposedly it is said that 3 boys were hung from its beams headless. Then we headed to a second much longer tunnel where only one car could go through this one bothered me alot just driving though it. Both tunnels have separate train tracks above them. We drive to the end of the road turned around then we parked. As soon as we got out of the car a train was flying by over the tracks in the distance. We walked up the road and to the left we seen a valley with a tunnel we decided not to visit the tunnel because we wanted to check the road first. So we came across the first road tunnel which goes about 50 feet in length give or take. When we came out the other side we were taking photos and we heard an odd sound. It sounded like a lawn mower on the train tracks I said nahh just probably an 4-wheeler but the strange thing is I could not seen anyone and it was not loud just real quiet motor going by and what's more odd is a train just passed by then this occurred minutes later. Anyhow we sat and listened and about 100 feet off to the left I heard a large crack twice almost like the sound of someone walking down the slope or walking in the woods. After it stopped Mark and I walked farther up the road and hit some very major cold spots there was no explanation for them except for something ghostly in nature especially after the hairs stood up on my neck. Also this is not paranormal but there was a bee that flew past us and it was dark the bee ended up hitting the ground when we shined the line it was the largest yellow jacket I have ever seen a black and yellow bee about an inch and half in size I was probably more terrified of that then the road seeing how large it's stinger was lol. We walked down the wooded road and noticed many roads, paths, steep slopes and came to the bridge with the beams. This bridge/tunnel did not bother me the least. I did not feel any uncomfortable here unlike the other tunnel. So we took a few photos and we walked past.  Farther down the road we stopped at a trail and looked at some old pipes and we turned back around. Mark stated when I breathed he saw my breath. I tried to get my breath to show over and over in that area and nothing so I do believe he may have see some Ectoplasmic energy close to me since I did feel a cold spot when he mentioned what he had seen. Finally a car flew down the road we pretended to be trees. As we headed back we noticed a few times where 2 cars would stay close together a few cars I thought would stop. Based on what I feel I can feel that these woods, this road and whatever occurred here years ago was not pleasant at all. On our walk back towards the tunnel with the beams quite a few cars passed by and quite a few times I heard something I cannot explain in those woods. Something like a voice at one moment another moment something moving tree to tree as we walked. I did ask if the Pigman was out there to please make himself known. Some people claim that the Pigman is a half man half beast creature again I will get into the history later when I update the page. But after that I felt pretty watched like no matter where we walked we were not alone. When we got to the tunnel with the beams we took a sharp cut to the left and went down a steep slope. We found a tunnel that went underground or for a quite some ways under the hill. The creek ran through this tunnel so that is obviously why it was formed. None the less we did get wet but it was fun as we walked down the creek. The tunnel was interesting there was tons of crawfish some pretty good sized ones. We came out the other end of the tunnel and we were in some pretty deep woods. We walked about 100 feet and found many things that were dumped there furniture, fridges, many old rusted parts, wheels, just about anything you could find that you could dump on the side of the road. I did not like this at all it looked more like an area you throw bodies. But we were talking and standing there in the creek and we were not to far from the other set of tracks or should we say another tunnel up ahead when I heard the sound of a old steam engine it was like chug chug then a big release of steam. I heard steam beyond a shadow of a doubt was this the sound of the train accident that steam cooked over 40 people years ago in one of the cars? After that I felt pretty uneasy and I heard walking in the woods and trust me we were in pretty deep standing in a creek. The branches were like cracks breaking one of them was behind us, another I heard was about 10 feet out in front of us, and then I heard water splashing like something else was walking from the other tunnel towards us. We went back through the tunnel climbed the bank upward and headed back around to the long stone tunnel under the tracks. We did work our way back to the car and I could not help notice all the cars some guys road by shouting gibberish they did not see us but they were shouting, another car got stuck in the tunnel temporarily, and another group of kids driving in the tunnel honked there horns. Anyhow as we worked our way back to the van we were trying to find the tunnels in the valley we seen when we first arrived at first we could not find them and both our lights were almost dead. So we got to the van drove up and down the road for awhile to charge the spotlight and we found the other tunnel but we decided to save it for a second trip to make things more interesting.  In closing I would like to say that I believe there is something sinister in the woods and around this road You can feel that something is not right here. I also believe it is haunted to many occasions I felt a cold spot moving, heard a steam engine, heard something walking very heavily as if we were being watched, including a voice. The nature that surrounds the road is gorgeous but anybody or anything can hide the woods are thick and some cars you cannot see or hear till they are 50 feet away from you therefore we can see that the unlit road is risky to walk on at night. We had fun investigating the 3 tunnels/bridges and road. There was alot of strange things that occurred to us as well and I do know alot of people write me all the time telling me how they go up there to hang out, walk the road at night, etc but based on my assessment of the area and what I felt I would say if you are a member of my organization go with us or go with at least 4 to play it safe. Because of the passenger train wreck that occurred here, the legend of the Pigman and rumored cult activity of sacrificial cats etc it is a strange area indeed. Feelings of being watched things moving around you cannot see and strange sounds on the tracks that do not exist in this day an age tells me what I need to know. The only thing I am upset about is not being able to find the old foundation and explore the 4th tunnel which we will probably work on that on our second trip. Do not forget tomorrow we got another exciting adventure planned join our journey and seek out the truth. Peace, Rick
