I was in search of the ghost town foundations and burnt out bridge. This time I hoped to investigate those foundation since last time hippies were camping on them. We made our way into the dirt road in the woods. It was extremely bumpy as my car was going up and down. Their were a lot of potholes and I did not have four wheel drive. We made our way up to a giant pit if we went in that it would have been a mess since it was probably four feet deep and the size of my car. So we took a dirt road to the left which I could hear stuff moving around out in the woods. We ended up driving up to a giant camp fire and people camping so I had to turn around on a narrow four wheeling trail. I decided to take a chance and drove around the giant pit. I just cut the edge barely but managed to get around it till we found a dirt road to the right. I took this road and the ecosystem changed drastically. There was no signs of anybody out there and things were getting pretty eerie. I kept shining my spotlight as I was driving I felt watched or like something was out in these woods. I could not find the foundations which I thought was odd perhaps they were further up the road its hard to say. But I would not get a chance to find out cause my car got stuck in some very deep sand as my car pretty much sank into it so deep that the underneath of the car was buried. Jason and I got out and dug like crazy with our hands to clear the sand away from the tires. My car was starting to overheat and we had evergreen woods on both sides of us. I found a giant tree limb and started clearing out from under the car. It still would not budge so I ended up jacking the car up and we got all the sand out from under the car. We tried to put some wood under the tires and eventually we put the car down but it still would not budge. Our spotlights were running dim and yes we were just about up the creek without a paddle. I was laughing to myself so hard cause here we dealt with that lunatic in the train station and yet mother nature captured us instead. Over an hour passed and we still were on this unused dirt road and at times I thought I heard something. Ariel told me she felt so many spirits just surrounding the car. I was hoping for bigfoot but I did not mind settling for ghost. Eventually we slipped the car mat under the one wheel that was spinning and Jason gave the car a good push. I floored it and drove real fast in reverse for a couple hundred feet. Hell I almost hit a tree as the car was fishtailing backwards. I seen Jason slip on the dirt road fell on his back and I was laughing so hard he looked like a turtle stuck on his back heh. We made our way back to another road and at this point I was a little disappointed that we could not advance into that part of the forest. I had parked so we could let the car cool down and still perform an investigation. I walked up to the pit and found a half of skull of some animal. Strangely I found another part of that animal down one of the hiking trails very far away. But its the woods so nothing really paranormal about it. We went down a road and hiking trail for quite awhile and it turned out eventually to be a dead end. At this point we heard some dogs off in the woods. Ariel thought she heard some talking and I heard a few things not to far away either. But the woods for the most part were calm. The stars were out and nobody was around so it was really nice just to hike around. We eventually got back to the car and went for one last hike. We found a campfire site and nothing really too paranormal but I did do a bigfoot call. I did not get a response back so it is apparent that the woods were probably one of the more calm places of the night. We got back to the car and made our way out of there. Jason wanted some woods so I gave him some woods. Ariel did not like this place one bit. I remember how eerie these woods were the first time we drove around in them. We decided it was getting late so we visited our last destination of the night which is Ponceannah Cemetery. |
