The Lancaster War Of 1812 Historic Cemetery is less then an acre in size and sits by itself near some woods. Roughly 34 soldiers are buried here a few of the stones are unmarked. The cemetery is very worn most stones you cannot read, are broke, buried in the ground or leaning at angles. Many brothers are buried here including soldiers who died in battles like Lundy's Lane, Queenstown, the skirmish at Conjockety, and  the burning of Buffalo NY. For example Moses Fenno was scalped, tomahawked and his men including him had all there clothing taken by the Indians in the burning of Buffalo. So some of the spirits here have died violent deaths. The cemetery seems to have its fair share of ghost despite its size. I think they enjoy it because it is peaceful, wooded, and nobody ever really comes here since not many know about this little cemetery. But when you hear about the war of 1812 you usually hear a ghost story to go with it so this is why we decided to investigate this place.
