I was pretty excited to get out tonight and I was not planning on posting the report cause my Ariel left me but I just had to get out and get crazy with the unknown. So I took off tonight windows down, industrial music, a hazy full moon into the Florida woods as we investigated Lake Woodruff, Braddock Methodist Cemetery, and The Braddock Home. It was a good night not to much activity but this is what we are is adventurers so we had a nice mix of investigations. Without Jason's help tonight I could not have pulled this off.

With gas prices soaring it can be hard for us to travel to places at times. Its also hard finding investigators. I missed those times where we had 4 to 5 people not sure if I will ever reach that goal here in Florida.

Jason and I had a nice pot roast dinner tonight sometimes its a team tradition to eat a nice meal before an investigation. With the dangers we face my grandmother use to say eat eat it could be your last meal so there you go. In all due serious we had quite a night and our adventure begins here.

Lake Woodruff

We started off driving down a woodsy road which turned very rugged and with sand. I could feel the eeriness setting in. This was an area roughly 12,000 acres so yes things are going to be hiding in the woods no doubt.

We crossed some railroad tracks they had no crossings and we parked off to the side of them entering the gate. This is a place that is rarely visited at night so keep in mind wildlife here would be intense.

We started off down a dirt road which led us to a trail head leading to an island, spring garden lake and the brim of Lake Woodruff. There was a boat on Spring Garden Lake he had a giant light on us so not sure if he was confused seeing figures walking in the dark lol. We took the trail which led us to an open prairie which had a pond and canals on both sides of the road.

These canals keep in mind are only 10 feet wide and yes we did see alligators in them grazing the water some even on the banks. We decided to take the long way around this island which we followed.

The road led us to a point with water on both sides then giant prairies and woods off to the distance. It was a large area and walking on two sides of water really made things unsafe cause an alligator on shore twirled around real quick and dove back into the water but it could have came after us.

We got past the island and found a hammock trail which probably went a mile. The moon was piercing the trees and something big was moving out in front of us I could hear it but seen nothing.

We followed the trail and at points it was over grown and to a point where one part of the trail was a fauna tunnel. We came across also a giant spider not something you would want to be bitten by trust me. It was a residual feeling here. We got back onto the porch and I noticed that the porch was the coolest place on the property perhaps this was the unseen trying to tell us goodbye.

We then looped around and I did a bigfoot call things were quiet until I heard a giant snap sound about a hundred feet away. Not sure if something stepped down or was trying to be cautious.

Eventually we found our way out of the trail took a break by the canal and moved on. I been pretty beat up with back problems and my foot so for me to make these hikes really test me lately. We were a couple miles from the car.

Our walk back was pleasant we heard a train in the distance but the activity was very low. I know there was other trails and roads in the area but unfortunately at night you cannot drive to them you have to get there on foot.

We did not find the supposed archaeological sites here but I did get to lay on some tracks and say why me and so we moved on to our next investigation Braddock Methodist Cemetery. On the way to the cemetery I drove Jason real close to the side of the woods where he had bushes and shrubs hitting him hahaha thought I would wake him up for the ride out to the cemetery after such a long hike.
