I am sorry for the late report I just been resting up and threw a Super Bowl party last night with pizza, beer, and subs. But Saturday we had quite an adventurous excursion as we toured some very eerie haunted locations.

If you recall I sent out a little article from the Ocala Newspaper about a haunted ghost town named Kerr City. A place I studied months before the article came out so I figured this must had been a sign to go on out there for an investigation. So we visited Kerr City, Fort McCoy Cemetery & Silver Springs & River (Pioneer Cracker Village).

It was an all nighter adventure and we had a few minor road blocks but we managed to pull off a very nice night full of awesome paranormal photography and activity.

Ariel made a nice dinner before we left for our trip and then we all decided to head
off as we ventured into the heart of the Ocala Forest and so our journey begins now.

Kerr City

We stopped to get some coffee and pick up some beer for our super bowl party the next day. We were just about in the Ocala Forest which is the largest state forest in Florida full of bigfoot lore, UFO sightings, creatures, and of course ghost stories. Many ghost towns and hidden pioneer cemeteries are present with the forest including the ghost town of Kerr City.

When we arrived at the entrance you could see a narrow dark dirt road leading into the forest. There was no visible houses just a bunch of large trees and darkness. We stopped I got out and took a few photos then we pulled into the ghost town slowly.

Now keep in mind this is to protect us we visited the site because the newspaper article gave directions and pretty much stated anybody interested in its Haunting's, history etc were more then welcome to take a stroll through the town and so we did just that. There were no signs stating this at the entrance and so we slowly drove into the ghost town.

The road was extremely bumpy with lots of pine needles and leaves on it to the left we seen this very creepy house with a porch to our left. As we drove further up we passed the caretakers mansion at the stop sign and the oldest Texaco station in the state of Florida. There also seemed to be a well and across the street another old home to our right.

Jason claimed to see a light come on in one of the houses I did not see it but we suspected people here might be a little nosy or curious. We went further down the road till it split in two directions there was also a house nearby which was dark.

We went to our left and started offroading a little till it dead ended. This place was pretty spooky just driving around. It was amazing how secluded it was. The lake was nearby as well but we could not see it perhaps cause some woods separated it off this road. I slowly drove looking for various sites and I felt like many things were hidden in the woods like houses and structures.

Eventually my light cause a grave stone deep in the woods so we parked and walked on off into the cemetery. As we got out of the car we heard a long scream off in the distance. I am not sure if it was a coyote, bobcat or some other creature. But it was an extremely weird area. I did not feel alone here I felt multiple entities watching us with curiosity and yes it was very cold.

We walked around the cemetery for quite sometime and many of the graves were scattered. It was hard to see many of them cause they were in the woods covered in brush. After we found a few grave stones I found a trail and decided to take us on a little hike in the woods. I figured we could come back later to find the cemeteries other graves.

We hiked in the woods and the path split in different directions one of them leading to a house the other to the main road. There was feelings of being watched heavily more so then most places we go. These woods did not seem as friendly perhaps cause they were not maintained and probably many graves in the area were unmarked.

On our way back to the car their was a white SUV truck parked in back of my car and the caretaker was in my vehicle. I could see the dome light on and we carefully hid in the woods watching the whole thing. I was pretty upset about this cause here you read articles about how you can visit the town and how this guy rents out the cottages, houses, and gives tours of Kerr City. Eventually he left and when I got to the car it was ransacked.

My business cards were thrown all over, the case of beer was thrown in the drivers seat, our gear was tossed all over, coffee was tipped over etc Nothing was missing however this person trashed the entire vehicle. Eventually he got back in the vehicle and he left so did we cause I felt very disappointed that I went to tour the town and had some hick break into my vehicle when I was going to publicize this person so people could learn the history more. I would feel sorry for anybody who rents a home up here the caretaker might search your belongings while your away no doubt.

Anyhow we were driving through the ghost town and the white truck came around the corner real quick and blocked us in with his high beams on. Out came the caretaker swinging his cane I was laughing so freaking hard like I was supposed to be scared Hell I have walked near gator's in swamps why the hell would I be scared. He came up to my window and accused me of having sex with Ariel in the cemetery Jason thought that was hilarious since it was 42 degrees out. He says I know something was going on with that young lady. So yeah I really got a chance to show the guy the ghost that grinned at him.

Anyhow he told me the police are on there way and I told him PGS sends there regards. I swerved to the left driving off the dirt road between some trees leaving a trail of dust. As well pulled onto the road the cops drove by at 90 mph I floored it and swerved down a road parked the car for about two hours. The beer for the super bowl in back was starting to talk to me lol. I get pretty thirsty after a rush like that. But this is how I look at it if you want to be a crazy coot swing your cane in my face trash my vehicle then were not going to exorcise you.

As we sat down on the road for awhile a spotlight and lights turned on many times passing nearby us. We were trying to come up with theories about why this person was a fruit loop. Then we finally came to the conclusion that if you lived alone in a ghost town, twenty miles awhile from the nearest store, and surrounded by ghost in the creepy woods you probably would lose your marbles also.

To protect our organization and of course myself there is no trespassing in Kerr City the caretaker did not acknowledge on the newspaper article or any websites on this ghosttown. I came to the conclusion he posted the article on purpose to get some excitement up there or possibly the caretaker thought by posting an article  on ghost haunting this town he could make money off it which really upsets me.

But I did get a few ghostly photos off and a few other photos within the ghosttown. Unfortunately we will not be visiting here again but my prospect on the place is their is a lot of energy, feelings of being watched, some really major cold spots, and the houses are eerie as hell. Their is supposed to be other structures and a barn with an old horse wagon but we did not find it nor did we get an opportunity.

After all the excitement of us enjoying out hideout I headed out on the road and of course it delayed our other places we were going but we decided to head on off to Fort McCoy Cemetery.
