Hollenbeck cemetery is about 160 years old and is very small surrounded by woods and a small brook. The cemetery has descendants of the Moon and Hollenbeck family. It is rumored to have many strange events. I cannot say if it is true but people have said that they see a kickball rolling around, a strange fire and glow in the woods, a headless horseman that chases around young girls, weird noises like children crying and someone knocking on a coffin. The cemetery has alot of children buried their and the town as erected a single monument for the stolen headstones their. It is a very vandalized cemetery most stones have moss growing in them some are broken and covered in the high grass. We were very excited to bring everybody a story on this cemetery. I cannot say we will return here if it was not so far away and I was not moving I would spend more time at this place. I do not know why the cemetery is haunted by a headless horseman. When I first heard of it I kind of laughed and said come on a cemetery with a sleepy hollow type of legend. But I believe that this is true based on our investigation of it. We want to warn others who venture here just to be careful since I can feel something evil in the area. I have seen a ghost photo come out of here so we know it is haunted. But the question remains is who is the horseman does he watch you? Does he want your head? Will he take it?
