Hartland Cemetery also known as Hartland Central Cemetery Association-Skeels is a quaint little cemetery of about 11 acres. Much of the cemetery is lit by candles and there is very little vandalism considering the oldest stone dates back to the year 1807. A small chapel does exist on the property it almost looks like a wedding chapel but none the less its red doors, and stone look to it send chills down your spine. The cemetery has some of the more early settlers and this is why i chose to investigate it. The oldest part of the cemetery is in the very center and is surrounded by many trees. This cemetery is unusual since the roads are all parallel  I had fun exploring this cemetery and I cannot say there is alot of history to it however considering it is not far away from some forts back in the war of 1812 and near amish lands their is no doubt that their are some ghostly happenings here.
