The Goodwill Theatre opened in 1920 and is a historical landmark architecture done by Lacey, Schenck & Cummings. Why this place was let go really is quite sad since it is absolutely gorgeous. Recently a grant was given for 10,000 dollars to fix it up although based on more research I heard the city was given $225,000 as a grant to revitalize the theatre.. The problem is I am sure its going to take triple that just to get back into shape.  This theatre reminded the same theatre that was in the movie majestic. The reason we decided to investigate it was 1. It was something different for a change and 2. Most theatres have a ghost story. Often with a theatre you here about lights going on and off, the equipment failing, a haunted seat, footsteps in the lobby Ect. Perhaps spirits in the afterlife still think they are catching their next movie and perhaps some of them find the arts peaceful. The one thing about this theatre that stood out is in the lobby area the stairs that went up on both sides and of course a very large stage with ripped curtains. What we can tell you is this place is very eerie at night and yes it is haunted but as you know the show must go on!
