In Deland is a house where 80 years ago stables once stood. Whether this is the original house I do not know but it sits farther back covered in brush. Behind the house is a old foundation with bricks remaining and a basement leading to nowhere. A car also sits dusty on the property and it the house has a feel as if someone entered the house and never came out. The house at one time I believed belonged to a Dr based on the files found inside what happened to him is the question? 

The house is haunted but whatever is here seems to not want to be bothered its a very uncomfortable house to be in or even around during the day. Feelings of being watched, footsteps are just a few of the feelings around the places. But perhaps what makes it so haunted is the historical sites that surround this house as over the years they still stand. I just know that I spent many days walking past the house and have been infatuated with it over time.

But we must ask ourselves why is so much left behind yet the house remains abandoned? Who lived here and what happened? Why is the inside of the house stripped of its walls? Did the owners perish leaving the house behind? I believe that the house is haunted due to what once stood on the property but none the less much mystery and unsolved answers remain.
