The Eatman Family Cemetery remains hidden which makes this place extremely interesting considering it has been untouched by the outside world for many years. Although well kept very few know about this place even getting to it is nearly impossible since it sits on a private inaccessible road.

The first burial here was a man by the name of Joseph Long which has a very weathered gravestone which looks like a boulder. Then their is another man by the name of Samuel Knight JR who fought in the second Seminole War. Their is roughly 12 burials here most of them with the name Eatman on their stones. Moody Eatman was the last burial to take place here in 1941 since then the cemetery has been very forgotten or unused rather.

Their is a road near by called Moody Blvd which was named after this man.  I can imagine the family had some significant contributions locally to the area since this was one of the first families to settle around the Palm Coast area. Most deaths had occurred either near the end or the beginning of the 1800s/1900s.

The cemetery is extremely active not a wild haunting but more like an anxious feeling. If you were a ghost and nobody ever visited your gravestone I am sure you would perhaps get excited to have visitors as well. It is ashamed that the cemetery is so private only a plaque and a new chain link fence surrounding it are tits recent signs that it has been maintained.

Three of the burials are children actually two infants and a little girl. It is my belief that the ghost within this very small cemetery are those children. I am a father so I usually can sense children presences much easier. I cannot explain what I felt here I just know that its a pure graveyard uncorrupted like others you see with vandalism, beer bottles etc. We hope that this investigation will help those remember this place that lays forgotten but yet so well kept.
